Hey Matt, Too funny. I am the dude riding past you about halfway through this video(9:55). You said you recognized the Ebike. I literally bought that bike because of a review you did on it. It's the Jansno X50(lots of mods for mine). I already had it in my cart about to buy it when I looked up a few vids on youtube. Pulled the trigger after your review. I actually recognized you but was rushing home for a Zoom meeting or I would have stopped to say hi. Small world. I'm sure we'll bump into each other again. I take the LMU trail or Bluff Creek back and forth to work almost every day.
😆 that's awesome, I felt like you recognized me, and I recognized the bike, so as I was riding I was wondering if you saw my video on it lol, small world! Did you upgrade the power? Next time say hi, usually I'm just in my own world recording something not noticing too much going on around me. Hope you're enjoying the bike!
@@TailHappyTV Riiight? I'll definitely stop and say hi next time. Didnt upgrade the power just yet but I am going to soon. Just upgrades on the breaks, bars, neck, pedals. Mostly cosmetic stuff. I'm gonna email you. Had a few questions
Doesn’t matter how cheap it is if it can’t make it up out of the parking garage unassisted, that and the California grade helps keep my wishlist short. Kudos!👍
That's why I don't understand why the Jansno x50 got such a lukewarm review. Under $1000 and it had full suspension, better battery AND made it out of the parking garage unassisted, from a full stop. I have 3 ebikes and still ordered one on the spot when I saw that.
The Super73-ZX costs $2,395 and got 614.4Wh of battery which is $3.90/Wh. The Macfox X1 costs $1,299 and got 1,008Wh of battery which is $1.29/Wh. The lower the price per watt hour the better the deal I’m getting. I’ll purchase the Macfox X1 all day any day over a Super73-ZX. In a electric bike tier list, bikes such as the Macfox X1 easily takes B while Super73-ZX is in E and the R22 Everest would go to F.
Ayy wassup Matt I just got myself one of these bikes and I’m trying to do the thing where you press plus and minus to get to that menu to make it faster if you could help me out that would be great I’m honestly just trying to get the bike faster in general
they stop the bike no doubt, have you tried hydraulic with bigger rotors? definitely a difference, but these are fine for a sub $1k bike, just want consumers to know it isn't a Rolls Royce
@@TailHappyTV I actually have cable actuated disc brakes and they don't lock up. :( And I don't know why :( For the fact that those brakes do lock up . . . That's all you need.
so I'm very new to ebike and just got mine, I don't quite understand all the setting on the display or how to get to some of them. Could you make a short guide on that? or if anyone knows link to guide/blog on this matter, much appreciated.
Still think the moped style bike I got is the best deal. Like to see you review it and see what you think. I got the OUXI V8 Max Electric Bike, 750W motor with Dual 48V 15Ah Batteries, 7-Speed, Hydraulic Brakes and rear rack. Top speed is 31.2 mph and its $819 + $119 shipping on Amazon.
What were the steps to get into the computer to change the top speed limit? I’ve tried holding down both plus and minus and it just lets me adjust the odometer / trip.
I ended up emailing Macfox and they emailed me a video file. I was able to get in to modify, but I don’t think I followed it correctly and so I ended up reverting it back to “stock” settings and just left it alone.
Looking for my first ebike. 60 yr old with 3 back surgeries and replacement hip and only 5'6 about 220,big guy😂. Looking around $1500- $1800. Living in the country dirt and gravel roads and some walking/riding trails. Mostly flat. Suggestions??
Aventon Aventure 1st generation is a decent buy for that price range, in my opinion. There is now an Aventon Aventure 2 which uses a torque sensor instead of a cadence sensor but if you were to be okay with a cadence sensor then the Aventure 1st generation is a powerful fat tire E-bike. Around 1,500.00 at some online retailers and when unlocked can produce a peak power of 1,130w if I'm correct. That much power should muscle you up some hills or trails.
@@TravisMcGee151 if you are referring to the Aventure, it has a throttle. Sit there and hold that if you like and it will do 20mph. Not sure why a person would "have" to pedal all the time if they didn't want to pedal.
The angle of the front fork is too vertical to give a nice stable ride, i have that problem as well with my ouxi v20. Lower handlebar and larger front wheel should help but im not sure.
I am going to save for either this, a super 73 Miami or a zx, what bike do you think is worth it, all I want it for is to bike probably a 20 mile radius around my area, would this bike work okay for that purpose?
If you can afford it,get the dual battery version,it’s worth the extra dollars.I had a similar E bike and it ran out of juice quickly, and I’m only 5’6” and 150 pounds. It was not comfortable to pedal at all.
As a non lawyer with zero experience in the law. I want to suggest you get a detacheable holder for your phone. You’re going to eat shit one of these days. Doing speed tests while holding one handlebar on a new bike is kind of lame.

whats better? The happy run tank g60 or this one?
is there an offroad controller for these yet for more top speed?

Use controller with the pin connector replace the battery connector with an xt60
