I find it quite fascinating that on Meghan's resume in Hollywood, she identified as Caucasian. She changed that when it suited her claim of being a victim. Really makes you shake your head.
Exactly, and she only dated & married white men, and wears her hair in a Caucasian style, and not her natural way.
More so, she underwent extensive facial surgery to rid her face of every trace of her ethnic origin, narrowing the nose and lips, etc. I truly thinks that the woman HATES her ethnic origin and that her VERY RECENT AND SUDDEN association with black people is just for show.
There has been a great shift in entertainment in the last few years.
Being listed as Caucasian on a resume would have helped Meghan get more work up until recently.
Things started to change around 5 years ago (my experience) and suddenly “ethnically ambiguous” started showing up on resumes.
Today, most casting calls I get are for African American actors.
I don’t like the narcissistic sociopath we know Meghan to be but I don’t blame her for making the change on her resume and other papers.
I was encouraged by an agent to add ethnically ambiguous to my resume in order to get more work.

It's not like there aren't countries all around the world who have royalty of the predominant color of that country. Thailand have Thai royals, the Middle East have Arabic royals, Ethiopia has Ethiopian royals, and Nepal used to have Nepali royals until they were all assassinated. India still has minor royals of Indian ethnicity ...& so on. There would be a lot more 'white' royals in Europe if there hadn't been so many revolutions and social upheaval ...but that is history. I was disgusted by Jack Brooksbank’s and Prince Harry’s adolescent behaviour in the Abbey. It was quite undignified for the occasion. That said, I don’t have a favourable opinion of Eugenie/husband, largely due her friendship with Harry, and her public treatment of the Princess of Wales, most recently a Christmas church service where Eugenie purposefully bumped Catherine upon exit, followed by a smug smile.

The balcony is fully white because these are the British royals. If you get an African royal family to all stand on a balcony, it will be all black and if you get the Emperor of Japan’s family on the balcony, it will be all Asians. Even if Adjoa Andoh get a full family picture with all her relatives, wouldn’t it look mostly black?? River, I am black and I am going to say something that some would find radical. I actually am not fine with Britain being less and less white over time. I think that a variety of skin colours is beautiful and a world with less whites seems less beautiful to me. I also think that a world with less black people would be less beautiful. I would be disappointed if I went to Ghana and found it less and less black.
A world with less people of Asian descent would be a world that is missing something. Every skin colour is perfectly and wonderfully made and is part of the rich tapestry that is God's beautiful creation. I am tired of people acting like white people don't have true value in a world of diversity and that they don't have a right to exist as white. There is nothing wrong with being white for God's sake! This is coming from someone who loves her dark skin and her kinky hair. I don't even straighten my hair or wear weaves.
That is how much I love my black self.
I am even planning on putting my hair in locs soon. I love Nigerian beats, reggae (Bob Marley still rules), Bach, gospel, steel pan, Chopin Nocturnes, Scottish pipes, bhangra, etc. I appreciate all kinds of music and cultures. There is beauty and importance in them all. Including white cultural diversity. Yes, white culture is diverse. Why can't we love each other as we are without trying to trample one another in some way? When I finally make it to the UK, I would find it strange if I went to Scotland and found it filled with brown skinned people. Yeah. I said it. Scottish people are European and tend to be whitest the risk of stating the obvious. So what! What is wrong with that? Nothing! I live in Canada which is a very ethnically diverse place within the large cities and I love that. It's one reason why I stay in a large city. People need to see the beauty in each other and stop trying to erase each other in some weird narcissistic attempt to create a world that only suits them. My white brothers and sisters, please be proud of who you are because when God made you he thought you are perfectly and wonderfully made. Hold your head high, love yourself, your family, your history, and your neighbour. River I want to share this with you. I watched the Coronation with my 97 yr old aunt & several fellow residents of her residential home. Two other ladies were 100 & 102 and all 3 remembered watching the previous 2 coronations. They agreed that the royal ladies should have been wearing tiaras, but what made me laugh & think of you was when they spotted the gorgeous Johnny, equerry to HM. ‘Who is that gorgeous man and is he married?’ enquired the 100 yr old. I said that I thought he was, to which the lady who is 102 replied’Well if I was 20 years younger, I would give his wife a run for her money!’

As an American watching the coronation and the concert, as well as some volunteering with the Wales family, I immediately thought Brits are showing the world how it's done. So many cultures, walks of life, different abilities, varying faiths, so effortlessly embraced and represented it was terribly fantastic and inspiring!! Well done!

I was at the concert dear River and have to say that being there you get caught up in the atmosphere. Everyone was so kind and considerate, no pushing or shoving, just a very happy feeling all round. I loved it.

I watched parts of it live on my computer thanks to The Royal Rouge. There were some technical issues at his end or my own slow service. I'm wondering if there was a wardrobe malfunction. There was a singer in a green gown with a heavy gorgeous wide skirt... her bodice was extremely low down on her dollies.
The Coronation was an absolute success. You were right -- the woman who spoke out about 'terribly white' --this was expected from her---and she was sitting on that program for that reason - unfortunately, NO ONE challenged her and called her out for what it is --simply a racist statement period. She needed to be called out and not sit there like some kind of guru who has nothing going on upstairs but a bad taste in her mouth. Sadly, some people want to keep up the nonsense and not see things for what they are - nor do they have a grasp of factual history, nor do they care and just go off with their mouth. If M had not been a part of the start of the Royal 'racist comments' , we wouldn't be where we are. People of all colours need to say the right thing and challenge anyone who tries their woke approach on maintaining upset and imbalance.

I’ve come to realize, in these times, where moral compasses are broken, where ridiculous outfits such as those worn at the met gala that are more suited to circus attire, now being passed off as high fashion, the monarchy is needed to hold the line of decorum and decency by being consistent. The coronation music was sublime, the rituals and tradition was food for starving souls and the decency of dress sobering and entirely appropriate for the grand occasion of which the basis is dedication to being of service to others, an inspiring much needed reminder. Where else can we turn? Politicians meet people and communities for votes, celebrities for fame and fortune but the Royals, steadfast and dependable, carry out duties with an almost extinct dignity and humility solely to inspire, uplift, support and encourage.
A very good observation. There needs to be an steel filament of constancy in the world. The entertainment community isn’t to be imitated; their morality is bereft. The fashion industry is corrupt, pushing recycled fashion on us claiming it’s something new. We need someone to hold the line of timeless class, sophistication, decorum, and elegance.

To me, William's speech was his 'gold dress' moment. When Catherine wore her famous gold dress, it was a signal she'd stepped up to take her rightful place. William spoke so well, and with real confidence, and even a little swagger, that he truly packed a punch. He is not a natural orator, and his performances have been lack lustre in the past. But, this time, he nailed it and he enjoyed it. This was William's stepping up moment, in my opinion.

Oh yes, they would be devastated to be ranked B listers. I thought the concert was far better than expected and I certainly didn't miss Adelle or Ed. It's always tricky to cater for everyone but they did well. I love seeing the RF up and dancing. Only thing missing was Dame Shirley Bassey and Tom Jones..you could go on and on about who was missing...

My first thought was a torrid, bodice ripper, novel.
When I meet those with manners, morals, integrity, kindness, compassion and empathy, that's when I'm in awe, regardless of colour or creed. These are the values that need pushing hard, nothing else matters. Duty and Service are to be revered, admired and held dear.
I found it very enjoyable NOT to have Harry mentioned at all during the coverage of the Coronation I saw other than a brief glimpse of him arriving with the York girls. When the camera panned to where the Wales and Edinburgh group were, I easily avoided looking beyond the first row particularly because I wanted to see what the children were up to. And the children behaved beautifully throughout.
To not have them mentioned was bliss.

Adele is currently touring Australia, which would have been scheduled years ago. The Coronation Concert was surprisingly slick. Even though I didn't know a lot of the artists, I enjoyed their performances and no one can complain about diversity.

I think that William and Catherine are determined to support King Charles and Queen Camilla in every way they can. They seem aware that Charles has inherited the throne as an old man and and needs help. I think a lot of the heavy lifting will be done by the Waleses.
I was very struck by the Royal frailty in the 1st half of the coronation. Very pale faces, very old looking. I think the white and grey palette was not helping. Then it improved when the purple crowns were added and Charles purple shirt. The color in both the King and Queen perked up as I guess nerves receded and color in the crowns. The white gowns on the priests and the ladies in waiting added to the blandness. I think in person the effect would be better as the glitter of gold threads and silver threads in gowns would show up. So as you say the Wales will need to shoulder much of the foreign work, and active duty.

I just watched the coronation concert, and I enjoyed every second of it. That was so high vibration, I felt wonderful and uplifted throughout the entire thing. That was super good the best concert I’ve ever seen in my life.

So my brother used to play polo when he was younger. He played with a young man named Quinn, who was originally from Palm Beach. His parents would tell the story of the Duke and Duchess would always expect people to buy, or pay for services from other people, and rarely spent their own money. When I read about Harry and Dior, it reminded me of those stories about the Windsors...lol, just cheap....
Excellent. Both Harry and Harry's wife look cheap in coture. High fashion does not suit them. The coronation was a triumph. The family pulled off a great performance and so did the people. Little Louis though on the balcony was up to his eyes in it and so charming. Directing the band and clapping. Stole the show. Harry at one stage was behaving worse than Louis, and he was excused for part of the proceedings. Wish Harry was.
