    I really intend to move to Canada from Brazil, but... It's expensive. Specially considering that C$ 1 ~ BR$ 4.25.
    Also, despite Vancouver seems to be my "favorite" city until now, maybe Edmonton or Montreal would be cheaper to live (I guess)

    • @LivingInVancouverBC
      @LivingInVancouverBC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Edmonton is definitely cheaper than Vancouver but also a lot colder with longer winters.

      @@LivingInVancouverBC yeah, that's exactly why I prefer Vancouver hahaha
      I'm used to a really hot climate (in my city, we get like 25°C in a COLD day)

    Great great video.
    Can I ask about the tech jobs, salaries?
    and
    house/apartment prices?

    • @LivingInVancouverBC
      @LivingInVancouverBC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know there are a lot more tech jobs here in Vancouver. I don't know anything about the salaries for them. I also don't deal with rentals so I'm not up on rental prices in every area of Metro Vancouver.

    Hi, great info you have shared!
    How about the cost of renting a space appropriate for running a Fitness Centre of a premium segment, and how would you rate the fitness business in vancouver.
    Cheers!

    • @LivingInVancouverBC
      @LivingInVancouverBC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The fitness industry is big here in Vancouver. I specialize in residential purchase and sales and don't handle commercial properties unfortunately. So, I wouldn't know what the cost is for renting a space large enough for a fitness centre.

      I'm sorry I can't be of assistance in this area, Wafa. I specialize in residential purchase and sales. I do not handle rentals as they actually require a separate license here in BC. This is a great site to search for rental homes. www.rew.ca/rentals

    What is strata?

    • @LivingInVancouverBC
      @LivingInVancouverBC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Any condo or townhouse is part of a strata. Strata housing can include: condos, townhouses, duplexes, even single family homes in bare land strata corporations ("strata subdivisions"). In strata housing, the owners own their individual strata lots and together own the common property and common assets as a strata corporation.
