Glad to see CM get some recognition, you have to play super tryhard with your positioning on her but she’s suuuuper rewarding if you can get that down. Super strong level 1 and 2, her aura is obviously nice, and her W (and shard) are both nice for picking up extra creeps in downtime if there’s nothing going on. I’ll also shout out Bane for 5 as well for another solid hero choice if you want to specialize a little more. He lanes well and his skill build is pretty variable with good lockdown so you can control the flow of fights pretty well with just nightmare + grip on two targets.
I've personally really struggled with playing CM since they changed her shard. I know the new one can help with some easy farming and a second frostbite in fights but I now feel like i can almost never get a good ult off. Also in the right game before i could sometimes justify bkb shard but bkb aghs is so expensive. Im sure as you say this is a skill and positioning issue on my end but i miss the old cm shard
Slark luna am are my go too heros but I would say this Am can get easily fucked in lane has to be a good game and ill always stand by that, Slark can play for lvl 6 in a losing lane and come back so its always a solid pick if you know what youre doing. Luna easily dominates 70 percent of matchups by skipping ulti to lvl glaives, gives her insane clear speed in jungle and on map.
What do you think of death prophet on mid or offlane. The win rate on dota2pt is about 53-55 percent. I just win a game with dp 4 vs 5 (our carry abandon) yesterday with the most damage dealt and damage received on the scoreboard.
Mars feels like a specialist and professional setting only hero. The winrate is rather low on pubs 46 - 47%. I use to have 54% wr on this hero, nowadays I keep on losing with this hero. I will admit i am not that good with the hero. Brewmaster on the other hand is like a specialist hero that have high winrate as well 55% currently on d2pt. I feel like right now there is just so many offlaner that is better than Mars on pubs, but somehow he is still played a lot.
I have a similar feeling about mars right now but I know that my gameplay also affects that lol. Like a year ago i felt confident going into a pub and crushing w mars but now not so much. kinda lose lane lose game type beat.
I think in pro games people group as 5 a lot more which is GREAT for mars. Something people should do more often in pubs on mars is farm a lot more very scary hero with blink bkb hex refresher late game or even going some hybrid ac/satanic right click build I think part of the winrate difference is people not being selfish enough on mars in pubs
@@iAnnihilatei always have that problem on my 6k pubs i get 2 bracer sring dagger at 12 and ask my supps to smoke me we force mid tower all good until 20 min and all downwards after and suddenly i only have shard dagger bkb until the game ends i never find the window to farm like efficiently cause im the one to make objective calls
@@bogdan3301 Yeah I am much lower mmr than you, peak 3.1k. I feel like primal beast outclass mars in many aspect. Less mana problem. His trample alone can clear jungle camp even ancients with phase boot and veil. Point and click stun that pierce bkb. Onslaught to move from camp to camp . Even his ult doesn't feel that bad to use for farm, since the cd isn't that long. Aghs that can be s tier against some hero. Can do bkb, blink, refresher to do reliable instant disable their carry without hex unlike mars. The only cons I see is that primal only does magical damage whereas mars have physical damage potential. I feel like there is a lot of nuance about Mars' kit that I fail to see since pro still pick this hero a lot.
I would watch the shit out of gameplay commentary! Im wondering why that is not a thing for Dota2. I just recently switched from LoL to Dota2. And 99% of league content is gameplay commentary. For Dota most of the stuff ive seen is Pub replay analysis or funny cuts 😄 Of course i appreciate your videos nonetheless 😊
I don't think CM is worth playing. The offlane duos are just too lethal and you got to deal with wet noodle carries like AM and Luna who just want to farm. Void, Slark, Riki if you're lucky. It's just too inconsistent for pubs. Imo WR is easily top 5 hardsupp, you just click click click, win lane. Bnade slows making powershots easy, there goes half their health. Positive matchups across the board except Ench. Dirt cheap items like drums, rod, shard that meet up with DK push timings.
I kinda disagree, CM is very good with luna/antimage in lane offlane duos usually get stronger at lvl 2 and 3 Lvl 1 and 2 on cm can snowball the lane vs those heroes esp with luna aura or antimage righclicks draining mana/trading well WR is super good right now too I feel like its close to making the list

NP is almost always picked or banned on low MMR but that player is usually very bad playing it so you get insta loss/win unless they are smurf.

Yeah dp is kind of busted atm , combined with a venge or a slardar she's extremely strong .
DP feels very medium right now, could be stronger than I think it is but honestly if you like the hero its more than good enough to play 2 or 3
