Well my friend just remember one rainy day in the Phillipines is still better than a sunny day in Miami. The balcony view was killer. Beer O'clock on the balcony. Stay safe out there.
its the longest running show in the philippines, 45 yrs, it takes place everyday from 12 noon till 2 30 6 days a week, they also have a crew that goes out into the outlying areas to engage the people and have contest and giveaways, its a very fun show.
Hi barefoot..thanks for this vedios..ive been in that place makati with in 21 years..i just went home last august 4...im your nwe followers..and subscribed already..god bless you always
Hi Mr. Barefoot, I’m enjoying watching your videos, I feel like I’m physically in my country, thanks for your efforts, good job 👏👏👏if given a chance to see you when come back home I’ll give you trophy 😅😅
been to Poblacion a few years ago, hope to be there again, every Nov they have parade for the Halloween if you are still here in PH you have to check it out
Nice one. Next time visit Bario Fiesta Restaurant in Makati. They got singing waiters😀 a lot of Fun. If your going to Boracay. Make sure you stay at the Beachfront. Station 2 is a good place to stay. Red Coconut is also good to stay. Have a good one. Till your next Video. Stay safe.
hi bare-foot watched quite a bit of your earlier vlogs in vietnam and thailand and now philippines - wow confidence oozes from you and its kinda contagious - take new ground - make new friends drink more beers and showcase the places & people come rain or high waters - cheers🍻
Just down the road is Poblacion...hope you did not miss that..If you hiy the islands, don't skip on Minadanao: Camiguin. Siargao and Davao/Samal island.
Camiguin is my home province. A lot of development now going on like construction of a bridge in The Lagoon for safe haven when there’s typhoon for yatch from everywhere in Visayas and N. Mindanao and the destination for international cruise lines!
Since your in makati hope you can also visit malls like glorietta and greenbelt( high end ).. and modern city nearby makati which is on BGC .. sure you ll enjoy it there! Safe travels!🇵🇭🙏🏻
Enjoy Philippines! Visit other islands.. for sure you will not regret it.. Some suggestions: Cebu, Davao, Siargao, Palawan, Boracay, Iloilo :) You might also want to visit BGC
Hey terry!!! Kmusta? (How are you?) im so tune in into your vlogs i love watching your vlogs its so raw and im loving it so far. Watch your youtube channel will skyrocket so to several subs bec Filipinos love watching foreign vloggers like you travelling here in the philippines hehehehe... Stay safe to your travels and Mabuhay( Long live) from the PH!!!
That is one tall hotel!! Too high up there for me! lol the people there are so nice and smiling most of the time. That restaurant look like an Americana bomb went off there. Great video. Thanks!! Incredible Mets win! That's why I love baseball!! Amazin' !!
I’ve been watching a few of your videos now, and although your videos are interesting and easy to watch, I sometimes wonder what really excites you ? You don’t seem to like malls, I haven’t seen you yet to really enjoy a meal, you don’t seem to like street food ( sensitive tummy ? ), so what is it that you truly enjoy besides visiting all those places ?
Have a pleasant stay in Makati and be aware of your surroundings which I’m sure you do. That particular place filling station looks like NYC. Nice! Have a good night and day the next day. Cool. By the way, I’m a NY Yankees fan! 😄😊 👍👍🙌
Stay in the Philippines!!!😄 There's another hurricane headed to, possibly, Tampa. I hope it won't change its mind and make a right turn towards Venice! I still have to replace my roof damaged by Helene last week and I'm boarding up again.😀 I just have to laugh about it now because I think after Ian, I'm getting used to it now. Hey, I grew up in the Philippines and witnessed two major Typhoons that did a direct hit on Manila before I reached High School. Florida is the nearest to the Philippines, weather-wise, I could appreciate here in the US, so I don't think I'm moving anywhere else any time soon. I can't leave my grandkids!!!😆 We might be visiting the Philippines next year though. That's after more than 24 years since the last time I was there. I'm sure so much has changed since.I'm quite jealous now with what you're showing there and how you're enjoying the country. Stay away from the rain!!! Like it's really possible!🤣🤣🤣 Have fun!!!
Stay safe my friend! As Helene was striking the gulf, I was trying my best to avoid super typhoon Julian to the north. My thoughts and prayers to everyone in Florida, NC and all impacted areas.
Kumusta Barefoot ~ too bad you couldn't do a video of that apartment/condo/hotel B&B. Hahaha! 😂I know that pools at hotels usually aren't heated, but hot springs in Laguna are a different story! I hear you after visiting the Filling Station 50s diner-museum. It looks like a blast, but it seems like there's just so much going on and the music is non-stop, which can be overwhelming! If you're looking for something more authentic, you should try some Filipino restaurants like Kamayan, where you eat with your hands, ie roasted eggplant, grilled fish, etc., and enjoy traditional dishes. I believe they also have musicians playing a string instrument similar to the ukulele or mandolin called "rondalla," which means to serenade in Spanish. The rain is a bit of a downer! What other adventures does Mr. Barefoot have planned in Manila? Stay tuned! BTW, I hope they still sell a t-shirt that has a logo that says, "It's more fun in the Philippines!" 😍
Kumusta Elizabeth, yes the security in the building was incredible, armed guards roaming everywhere. Felt very safe but unnecessary. I love the food here. My favorite has to be the lechon, but I had a fish soup yesterday that was one of the best I've had. Stay tuned for more!
@@BarefootVlogger Absolutely, lechon! 😄 The last time I savored lechon was back in 2018. Cebu is famous for its lechon. In Manila it's Aling Mila's Lechon. Yup there's way too much unnecessary security around! 😆It's awesome to see you having a great time and sharing your experience with us! Maraming salamat po! 😃
Must be about Five thirtyv that you started this Video. I am in San Francisco. Lots of Pinoys here. It looks like Queens back in 1970. I remember the Smog inManhattan back then.
67 th floor? Honestly? Wow! The Philippines has changed a lot. I left the country in 1975 and went back home in 1999. I think it’s time to go back home and visit my birthplace .I have acrophobia therefore 65 th floor is not for me.
If you are into THAT kind of nightlife, then its the right street.. :D ..and the expats on Burgos Street they mostly have a little prefix to the word expat which I wont write here.. No wonder they didnt look to happy being filmed.. Other than that, there really is only that curiosity called "Filling Station" to see. For younger folks, who want to party, they tend to go to Poblacion - which is nearby - who has trendy bars and stuff, also most of the good quality hostels are there. Older and middle-aged foreigners, who want a very high standard of living, on par with the US, they just stay in their bubble BGC and Forbes Town.
Well my friend just remember one rainy day in the Phillipines is still better than a sunny day in Miami. The balcony view was killer. Beer O'clock on the balcony. Stay safe out there.
ENJOY your stay in the Philippines and keep safe always.
Just recently did Thailand , Vietnam and the Philippines. Great experience. Makati was nice! Thanks for the vlog….
SE Asia. Nothing like it
Glad to see The Filling Station busy. I always go every-time I visit Manila. It is a short walk from Rockwell's Power Plant Mall.
