The blue-black thing you're referring to is the other Go-Bot Base, the one for the Renegades. It's as big as the other one standing up there, so I'm guessing they just didn't have room to display it fully open. Also looks like the stickers may be in bad shape, so that might be another reason its lurking mostly underneath.
And I gotta shout out Joe D’s vintage display! I agree that his MP area felt packed and visually overwhelming, but the vintage area was super clean, thought out, great use of risers etc … you can tell that’s where his love is and I agree!
It is a ‘Collection’ critique. Which is probably why Dennis sent you the picture of all the boxes in the closet. Whereas what we have come to love about this show is it is really a ‘display’ critique. And to that end…displaying a really nice MISB collection in that closet is a massive fail.
For Dennis’ submittion, I think the “storage” area is an alcove to the right of the shelves above the tv. You can see the shelves line up and part of the partitioning wall. So I’d assume sitting in front of the tv you can kinda see it all. Just my two cents. 😬
