    I added a link to the original video in the description and upper right hand corner. Sorry I didn't give an example first. This was my first tutorial and I wasn't sure of what I was doing.

    This is a very good explanation for those who don’t read music and essentially copy it and paste it

      I appreciate it! Coming from a classical background it's pretty difficult for me to think in layman's terms.

    Great tutorial!! I agree with one of the comment below, just an introduction of the song for the new people to this channel( still very easy to find after though) !! Keep going. I am having a lot of fun learning it

      No problem! Although it’s a really sloppy explanation since I’m not used to explaining my own playing but I hope it helps a little bit!

    This is amazing! A little too advanced for me however can you please show the variation in the G-chord with that high note on the E-string?

      Hey thanks! I still have a hard time articulating my thoughts especially in regards to what exactly I'm playing without using specific music language. I'm glad it was helpful for you and thank you for the encouragement!

    • @2kThrillaMwKilla
      @2kThrillaMwKilla 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kyle Furusho my pleasure man! I’m picking up most of the music language but to appeal to everyone you should prob say the technical chord and just quickly say which strings to hold and fret...just my thoughts but what do I know! lol keep it up man!

      @@2kThrillaMwKilla Yeah I'm watching other tutorials from some of the musicians I watch and trying to see what translates well. And your suggestions are super helpful especially since it's you that wanted to learn the song! Thanks!

    You're really good, keep it up! But please explain some of the chords a little bit more if you do another tutorial, chords like G/B (just for example) are hard to think about with a capo on without some more explanation.

    Sorry guy, I gotta critique a couple of things. One, you assume everyone watching has heard your arrangement. Start the video playing through the whole song ( or at least the first verse and chorus) once at speed. Two, you spent over 10 minutes of a 17 minute instructional on the first chord! Less talk more show.

    • @KyleFurusho
      @KyleFurusho  4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Hey thanks for the honest feedback. This is actually what I was looking for in feedback since this is my first time giving a tutorial of one of my arrangements online or in person. Part of my struggle was trying to break every single thing down because I was afraid I wouldn't explain enough about the rhythmic parts of the song. This helps in sharpening and communicating my thoughts for a future tutorial even if it's only a little improvement. Thanks man.

      @@KyleFurusho nice response man
      The video is great, it feels more like having a real teacher explaining it than the quick videos Chris is prolly talking about. Maybe this is a lesson more than a tutorial? More depth.
      P.S. I learned the song thanks man

    You are clearly very talented and congratulations on the video. I mean no offense - it is very hard to follow this tutorial, you are talking way too much waffle before getting to the point. By which point your left confused. And regular re playing of what we learn on the way....Sure your next video will be easier to follow. I am disappointed as would love to learn this version! Check out justin guitar for how to present

    • @KyleFurusho
      @KyleFurusho  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No offense taken! Before this video I never had to teach my own playing style before since that’s what a lot of people were asking about. I’ve given lessons before but it was always “by the book” and very basic things. It was really hard since I play a lot by feel and there’s no method into how I come up with something so I don’t know how to explain it properly yet (I’m trying to pay more attention to my playing!). It’s been more of a learning experience for me rather than who the video was intended for. Thank you so much for the criticism and advice since I do want to be able to communicate better and it takes feedback to do that. I really do appreciate it!
