That was a really good couple of days on the river, and at a time of year when not only is life bursting all over, but the river was all but ours, and the wildlife's......the kingfishers and bank voles that escape the camera, lol!!! Thank you for asking me along 🙂
It was a wonderful experience; I loved the paddle. The wild life was great, the cafe was convenient and the evening meal outstanding! Cheers Laurie, thanks for the company.
Hi Andrew, You are paddling your canoe very bow light. You could try sitting on the other seat then face forward. On flat windless days a level trim will help. If heading into a headwind you want the bow in the water to assist forward movement. Trim with kit or shuffle yourself forward. Good video.
You are absolutely right! The issue is that the fixed seats are in the wrong place. I'm going to try and have them altered. Both seats are symmetrical. On my next trip, I'll be carrying gear, so I'll put it up front. Thanks for watching.🛶
Great vid Andrew, I have my exams in 3 weeks so very nervous, but watching your vids makes me appreciate the important things. Nice to see everywhere looking a bit greener, spring has definitely sprung! Btw the Canoe is great, me and dad are planning a day trip on the broads soon which I am looking forward to. We are also thinking of doing the peddars way but backwards after my exams, as we liked it so much before and feel like we will see lots of different scenery that we did not see before because of facing the other way! Hope all is well with you and keep up the lovely videos, always the highlight of my day seeing them 😊 Ben 👍
