So after resurfacing it to 240 grit, the Black Pearl Urethane should technically give the same performance as the Purple Pearl Urethane at 500 grit? I ask because the box finish of the Purple should be 500, 1000, 2000 Siaair. I'm wondering all of this because with that one simple surface adjustment the USBC could potentially change rules and bump up urethane to 78D as well, ruling out all Purple Pearl Hammers. I doubt they will do that because that would rule out all Widow Urethanes as well, but the Purple Pearl Hammer could potentially be on its last few years of being legal.
NOT A FAN OF URETHANE! Let’s get honest, with all the perfectly thrown shots you made -how few actually struck. Their are reactive alternatives that carry better: Tundra Fire, Neal Attack etc..🎯

Well PBA just released a rule no balls over 2yrs old....sooo there goes that

but why do all this when you could just simply buy a purple hammer?
There was a rule change basically saying the purple hammer can’t be used in PBA match play.
Cause sometimes the purple hammer does not give you the control that you need and want something that can give you that control
