Thank you, guys, for promoting our beautiful 🇧🇦. It's easy to see that you really are impressed by how beautiful it is and how clean and beautiful our rivers are. You've seen just a few of them, but you missed the most beautiful river in the world. River Una in western part of the country on Bosnian and Croatian border. Name Una dates back to Roman time, which in Latin means the one and only because of her beauty. You should show that pearl of our planet now because the Croatian government gave permits to build water power craft exactly on the River Source or (Vrelo) as you know in Bosnian language, and that would be carastrofic. People from the whole Balkans who read this comment please raise your voice to protect our Rivers for the future of our children and grandchildren. ✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼You can see how impressed tourists are when they see that we have. Beautiful natur and rivers. Once again, thank you guys for the beautiful presentatio of our country. Its unbelievably beautiful, isn't it???❤❤❤
When foreign tourists present our country, they do it so wonderfully that only then do we, its citizens, realize how truly beautiful our country is. Thank you for the beautiful videos, and I hope you return to Bosnia to enjoy its beauty when its citizens don't appreciate it enough. Respect guys 🇧🇦

@@senkapasic2207 Sana is also nice, but not as beautifull as Una. It is not as green as Una and I think the waterfalls on Una are what additionally makes it so beautiful. Interesting about both rivers is they have latin names: Una which means one or the only one or unique and Sana which means healthy. I don't know if back at that time Sana was really considered healthy, today I wouldn't say, but a 'good' thing about the deindustrialization as a result of the war and resulting economic problems in the 90ies is that the river became again rather clean. I was recently watching some videos about Stolac in Hercegowina and they showed also a river Bregava that goes through that city/town, and the river was just breathtaking. I didn't know about that river before, have never been in that area, but boy, that was impressive. Bosnia and Hercegowina really has beautifull rivers. Hopefully people and the government will work on their preservation so that they remain so beautiful.

The reason behind a lot of Serbian flags in the city is very simple: Serbian nationalists can not get over the fact that Serbia lost the war - didn't get the main trophy - Bosnia and Herzegovina. Now all that's left is to primitively mark a territories with flags in each city with a Serbian majority to keep living in fairytales.
@@bloombloom1057 Bosnia and Serbia are in fact two different countries. Trebinje is in the country of Bosnia. Anyone who doesn't feel inclined to hold on to tribalism knows that the split in Bosnia is nothing more than to act as a theoretical principle with the purpose of satiating the nationalist ego.
@@bloombloom1057 And I'm saying that it's irrelevant to anyone who doesn't hold on to primitive ideas. Trebinje is a Bosnian city in the country of Bosnia.
Serbs did not lose the war, they got Republika Srpska which is described in the Dayton Peace Agreement. It is the Muslims who wanted the entire Bosnia and Herzegovina to themselves. Alija Izetbegovic, Muslim leader, was the author of the Islamic Declaration. There are flags, so what. That just tells you who lives there.

@@datboi5325 exactly it’s pointed out quite clearly as a region in the country with political representation in the whole. Sadly when you make videos here you get all the drama.
You wonder if Trebinje is Serbia. The answer is that it was the "first" Serbia. As a part of the Principality of Travunia, it belonged to the Serbian Kingdom even in the early Middle Ages. Today it is in the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in its entity called Republika Srpska. Otherwise, Republika Srpska is a legitimate entity internationally recognized and verified by the Dayton Agreement. So... Don't worry, dear visitors, you have come to Herzegovina of Saint Sava, therefore, among real Serbs, and therefore nothing bad can happen to you. Enjoy and visit us again.
Otisao si predaleko... Njih to ne zanima, realno. Trebinje je danas u Republici Srpskoj, a Republika Srpska je deo Bosne i Hercegovine. Sta je nekad davno bilo, njih ne zanima.
I want to provide some context as one of your regular watchers who really likes your channel: - Trebinje is in Bosnia and Herzegovina - War of the 1990s that you saw many traces of in Sarajevo and Mostar was orchestrated by Serb separatists and their helpers from Serbia who ethnically cleansed Bosniaks and Croats from the territory they named "Srpska" afterwards. This includes the city of Trebinje that has virtually become "Serb" city through a campaign of ethnic cleansing and genocide. However, by international law and Constitution of Bosnia, the entire region of "srpska" is still considered to be Bosnia and Herzegovina. - The Serb flags are a stern reminder of the nationalist and chauvinist nature of that movement and their political establishment. Non-Serbs are not welcome in those areas and there have been numerous incidents that are still happening in towns with Serb majority where they harass and attack non-Serb citizens. With that said, Trebinje is more tolerant than other places but unfortunately many people there still falls victim to nationalistic views of the 1990s and are actively working on spreading this sentiment. - Most of the Serb residents do not acknowledge or feel remorse for any of the atrocities committed in Bosnian towns you saw earlier on your journey. They even glorify Serb war criminals who have been brought to justice in the Hague Tribunal. Considering all these facts, I can see how someone from abroad isn't familiar with the details of the conflict, however, I kindly suggest reading up on this matter more just to educate yourselves a bit more on the issue, if anything, out of respect for the civilian victims who were tortured in death camps across "srpska".
Which normal Nation seperate ppl on Serbs and NON serbs hahaha... ONLY THAT SAYS ALOT... Not to add 1mile long text about them more... Im Just Waiting for them to start divide each other by Blood groups or smthn eventualy, when they run out of their sick propaganda...
@user-se6qk6fi7nexactly. Everyone thinks video in the balkans needs to be a history lesson. We have had the same issues on our videos and not until we visited Serbia.
I am sorry, but the mantra about big Serbia is pure propaganda. It is really not fair that prople here in the comments are still trying to demonize Serbs. And Muslims, Croats and those who should actually pay the prise for all crimes and concentration camps and slttering they have been doing to Serbs not only in the 20th century, but even before since the middle age have first of all never been taken accountable for their actions and instead have been supported by the international politics, whereas Serbs were demonized. Politics is anyway not something that should and that can be discussed in detail on this type of platforms and it is quite inappropriate to intrude into channels dedicated to tourism with this kind of political comments (even if they were be correct).
As the Serbian president said, Trebinje is the prettiest Serbian town, and justly so. Bosnia and Herzegovina is just a formality existing in some papers and maps, but the situation on the ground is that there are three completely separate societies and cultures. Bosnia and Herzegovina is just a territory with no internal cohesion whatsoever. The feel in Sarajevo and Trebinje is so different that one cannot help thinking they belong to two different countries. You must have felt this yourselves. It is impossible not to notice crossing from Muslim/Croat Federation into the Republic of Srpska. The feel is like you're crossing into a different country. I hope this is formalized soon and the Republic of Srpska becomes free and independent!
There are no Serbian towns in Bosnia-Herzegovina, only Bosnian towns or Herzegovinian towns. Trebinje is a Herzegovinian town. There are also no separate societies or cultures, all three people share roughly the same culture. The more you wish for your genocidal entity to become independent the less it has changes to ever become independent.
As a Bosnian I loved seeing you experience our country. I'm not going to lie though, Croatia is about to blow us out of the water. Nothing to feel ashamed of though, there are very very few places on earth that can challenge Croatia when it comes to scenic environments. Amongst swedes (I live in Sweden) Croatia is along with Spain and Italy the most popular holiday destinations. If you want to impress when you get there, instead of saying Croatia say Hrvatska.
Croatia can only "blow Bosnia out of the water" in context of typical cliché summer-go-out-for-swiming-vacation. But nothing else. And I am happy this lovely couple has realised that. But the biggest problem is that many of Bosnians do not really appreciate how beautiful country BiH is and, instead of promoting their country, feel some kind of inferiority towards Croatia and actually openly express it.
peaceful and tranquil and Clean everything looks so laid back there and that would be a good place to live and plus you got the Water Park thank you Matt and Molly !
No it''s Republic of Srpska. The other entity of BiH. And yes most Serbs would like to belong to Serbia and most Serbs in Serbia would like an integration. However the closest we will see in terms of cooperation is the special political links that are allowed by the Dayton peace accords. For instance helping to put out forest fires and economic assistance cooperation around energy generation etcetera.
separation making? um, are we pretending there was no such a thing as Yugoslavia, and that some people in Bosnia (your people) didn't want it no more, that those people talked crap about Yugoslavia, socialism, Tito, partisans (about royalists too), making you separatist in the first place? we are obviously forgetting that the "father" of thy nation was a panislamist, a bigamist, who just happened to have been a notsee collaborator during ww2. since the unitarist folks like yourself do not constitute the majority of population, yet, one might interpret your opinion as potentially leading to violence. PS you really think it is appropriate to slip passive-aggressive chauvinist hate in comments of a travel video?
It is reality, not separation making. Republika Srpska is a reality in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Koliko ste vi optereceni, majko mila... Pustite ljude da uzivaju.

Absulutely beautiful city ❤❤Thank you so much Excellent vidéo👍🍻
Glad you enjoyed it 🥰🥰 thank you!
Its unbelievably beautiful, isn't it???❤❤❤
Thank you so much for your kind comment 🥰🥰🥰🥰
When foreign tourists present our country, they do it so wonderfully that only then do we, its citizens, realize how truly beautiful our country is. Thank you for the beautiful videos, and I hope you return to Bosnia to enjoy its beauty when its citizens don't appreciate it enough.

Orthodox Bosniaks from the Republika Srpska trying to prove their loyalty to Serbia who made them “Serbs” with investing money for around 100 years now.
“Srpska” is a result of genocide, million moslem and catholic Bosniaks were banished and killed in that part of Bosnia. That’s why you see so many Serbian flags, they trying do prove themselves.
Trebinje is one of the cities where many women were raped, children killed, just because they wouldn’t call themselves Serbs. If you look into it, you will find out that those are facts, no matter what they tell you. They still consider monsters who tortured Bosniak moslems, heroes…

It is actually Italy because it was once Roman
I want to provide some context as one of your regular watchers who really likes your channel:
- Trebinje is in Bosnia and Herzegovina
- War of the 1990s that you saw many traces of in Sarajevo and Mostar was orchestrated by Serb separatists and their helpers from Serbia who ethnically cleansed Bosniaks and Croats from the territory they named "Srpska" afterwards.
Thanks so much for watching & for your comment. We are of course aware and have been told from many different people many stories during the war. 🇧🇦💗

@user-se6qk6fi7nexactly. Everyone thinks video in the balkans needs to be a history lesson. We have had the same issues on our videos and not until we visited Serbia.
Thank you for watching, all we wanted to do was show the best city 🥰
Nice dreams, only people with no brains will beleive you😂
There are no Serbian towns in Bosnia-Herzegovina, only Bosnian towns or Herzegovinian towns. Trebinje is a Herzegovinian town. There are also no separate societies or cultures, all three people share roughly the same culture.
The more you wish for your genocidal entity to become independent the less it has changes to ever become independent.
Your life is formal you little chetnik 😁😘

Croatia can only "blow Bosnia out of the water" in context of typical cliché summer-go-out-for-swiming-vacation. But nothing else. And I am happy this lovely couple has realised that. But the biggest problem is that many of Bosnians do not really appreciate how beautiful country BiH is and, instead of promoting their country, feel some kind of inferiority towards Croatia and actually openly express it.
Haha, I suppose we visited Croatia in peak season, and although the islands are beautiful, we preferred Bosnia as an all rounder

No it''s Republic of Srpska. The other entity of BiH. And yes most Serbs would like to belong to Serbia and most Serbs in Serbia would like an integration. we are obviously forgetting that the "father" of thy nation was a panislamist, a bigamist, who just happened to have been a notsee collaborator during ww2.
since the unitarist folks like yourself do not constitute the majority of population, yet, one might interpret your opinion as potentially leading to violence.
PS you really think it is appropriate to slip passive-aggressive chauvinist hate in comments of a travel video?
Yes, there is an seperation making beacuse they said is this serbia which is very rude considering what the serbs did to us back in 1995 🫢
It is reality, not separation making. Republika Srpska is a reality in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Koliko ste vi optereceni, majko mila... Pustite ljude da uzivaju.
Beautiful city 👍last year,we visited Trebinje,Foca,Gorazde,(bijele vode👍),Visegrad,than we cross to Serbia,because it's easier reach to srebrenica (BiH),than Potocari,Bratunac,Zvornik,Tuzla,Doboj,Tesanj,Banja luka,BIHAC,Strbacki buk etc🇧🇦🇧🇦🇧🇦🇧🇦🇧🇦🇧🇦regards from sydney Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺💗💗💗💗💗💗
lol you guys don't go anywhere without beer
Anything but bosnia
Welcome to the holy Serbian land of Trebinje
Trebinje je Bosna I Hercegovina gospodo stranci
Hercegovina.
A Bosnu i Hercegovinu čine dva entiteta, Federacija Bosne i Hercegovine i Republika Srpska, tako da ne vidim problem što su naglasili da se grad nalazi u Republici Srpskoj.
Please guys respect our borders! Its Bosnia and Herzegovina
That’s exactly why we said BIH best city. Thanks
@@dabbleandtravel But the thumbnail is debatable
Exactly, it’s debatable. It’s for people to leave their opinion

Da li ste se tako zapitali o poštovanju granica Jugoslavije?

Why was it necessary at all to mention srpska? Its in the country of bosnia.
We say what we’re told & we’re very objective 🥰
@@dabbleandtravel It seems like you're echoing the views of a minority rather than presenting an objective perspective. If you were being objective, you would have simply stated that it is in Bosnia, which is a single country.
Because it''s the other entity of BiH. BiH has two entities FBiH and RS. 🙂
We were in the city repeating what we got told from people in the city. We also used our own observations to compare it. In our Sarajevo videos we did the same. We are here to learn & grow and also share our experience
@@EO93 It doesn’t have to be “necessary” to mention something that may be a unique historical/cultural detail, such as Srpska’s Serb population. People watch travel vlogs to learn about unique features. The region of Serbia near the Hungarian border has a lot of Hungarian influence. Should vloggers not mention that just because Serbia isn’t Hungary?
Some ridiculous comments from ‘bosniaks’ ( Bosnian Muslims) .. we all can read the map of Bosnia and Hercegovina… this is a travel TH-cam channel ..

Another thing about Trebinje - apart from the systematic genocidal killings in Bosnia, many of the locals took part in the destruction and failed siege of Dubrovnik. We didn't forget.
correct, together with butchers from Montenegro.
Another thing about Croatia: it is the single most genocidal nation in the world, that slaughtered hundreds of thousands of Serb, women, children, and civilians in sadistic and brutal ways during WW2
Hi guys how are you
great thanks how are you?!
Shame on you! It is in Bosnia and Herzegovina not Srpska
We have literally said BIH in the video title ? 😂
@@dabbleandtravel and then wrote Srpska? Bosnia and Herzegovina is really tricky so it is best to stay away from divisions that we are fighting. I am sorry that you got caught between two fires, but Bosnia is super complicated. If you are still coming back to Sarajevo, lets grab a coffee as a journalist I can try giving you some helpful insight
According to Google maps, Trebinje sits in the republic of Srpska. We didn’t create that and we’re not lying or making it up? We are literally writing the name of the republic. We’re not in BiH anymore but next time for sure! Cheers.
@@dabbleandtravel you are way too confident about what you are saying.. but to start with, Republka Srpska is not a republic nor can you translate it into english as a republic, check the official documents of the EU for example. We dont need more divisions that you just reignited. Safe trips
@@harisbuljubasicYou are spewing on the Dayton Agreement which brought peace to the country after 4 years of war. Interesting how you're the first one provocating and denying what Dayton made a reality but you get angry when Serbs deny it for their own benefit. There's a word for that. Hypocrite. 🥰
Looks like a great spot to retire mate. Cheers 🍻 👍

I’m a Bosnian living in the US and I really don’t like to see Serbian flags on Bosnian land but RS flags are acceptable as RS is Bosnia’s smaller entity. We should respect that as that what we agree upon. Let’s not hate.
Thanks for your comment. More people like you are needed!
Exactly.
TREBINJE IS ONLY REPUBLIKA SRPSKA MEANING SERBIAN LAND.
THAT IS FACT.
ISLAMIC FUNDAMENTALIST WANT TO CONQUER IT AND NEVER HAVE.
THIS IS PURE SERBIA TREBINJE IS.
And you still never visited BANJA in Balkans? Balkans are more famous for BANJA than for anything else. Vrnjacka Banja, Banja Vrucica (Kardijal Hotel), Banja Koviljaca, Sokobanja, Bukovicka Banja ............. Come back again to REPUBLIKA SRPSKA!!!
We didn't have enough time but everyone recommends it to us!!!
@@dabbleandtravel The best ones are in Serbia. Vrnjacka Banja is the best and most crowded. It's essentially SPA in nature, and it started with Roman Empire. Most of the Roman Emperors were born in Balkans (Serbia mostly, and city Nis is most famous for that). Bosnia has some Banja as well, but it's not even close to level of quality in Serbia. Food is exponentially better in Serbia then in most of the Balkans, but you'd have to go out of big cities.
