It is a beautiful country! Honestly, I’ve never heard anything from the western media about Albania in all my 27 years of living in the west, but I have heard that there was a ‘reputation’ that I have no idea if it’s true or not!
Being an "Albaniphile", I enjoy viewing Albanian vlogs. I suggest going to "gurra e perrise" - a spring-fed fresh-fish outdoor restaurant on the side of Mt. Dajti. It's hard to explain. Just do it. I haven't seen it posted by any other vlogger. Just take Dajti Express. Once at the top, walk straight out the park to the main road. A minibus shuttles you to/from restaurant. Best done to escape summer city heat. The Restaurant may be seasonal. I've only been during summer. Cheers!

Best video on Albania I've seen so far, hands down. Excellent job! I had a boyfriend from Albania and he was 23 when it opened up. He said no one was even allowed to fly across their airspace. They were told they were the best country in the world. Well now that I see your video, I'd have to agree. Amazing doesn't sum it up. Mountains to the sea. The hospitality, etc.

We just got back from Albania yesterday. We enjoyed the country, scenery, the rocky beach, and searching for hidden bunkers throughout the countryside.
It certainly is! Honestly, as I said in the video, I didn't expect what I found, your country is fantastic, and a really great place to visit. I recommend it to everyone I see, and I really hope they visit your country so that they see the things that you guys have to offer! Beacuse your country is truly amazing!

Probably my favourite country and the best trip I've ever done - I went in September 2022 and toured round for about 12 days. I loved it so much - it was very safe, and very friendly. The food was incredible - I still dream about Lilli's Homemade Food in Berat! It'll be overrun with tourists in ten years, I'm glad I went when it was still unspoiled.

I hope it has been worth it to have a taste of Albania and im sure it will help a lot of people to understand more about this small country with not that good reputation. About what you asked at the end I can say that mostly we just consider it normal to have what we have. We start realizing that they're not common everywhere when we see visitors get surprised and appreciate the things we have taken for granted. And well done for the beautiful and informative video! I believe it is called Llogara Pass. Beautiful drive, fantastic pickles at the restaurant on top of the mountain. Lovely people, too. They don't usually sell them, but being the pickle fiend, they gave me some and didn't charge too much either. I am Albanian, but I can tell you that the people truly are lovely. I also can't believe you did all of these shots by yourself. Incredible job with the video. You're like a one man show! Keep it up
