Afghanistan 2023, this is the vlog thats taken ,e so long to do, to talk about the reason i left afghanistan, i am not showing anything here that this man hasnt already sown on his social media, in fact he had worse up there, but removed it and blocked me because i showed the proof he lied about me criticising the government... you can skip to the end to see that, this is about why i left and my feelings on Afghanistan, why i Love Afghanistan so much, and hope one day i can return to Afghanistan, as things stand now according to this man , he was told i am no longer welcome in Afghanistan, me as well as some other vloggers , he has told others they are no longer welcome in Afghanistan, whivh i find very strange that he can say all these things and he is not even Afghan himself. Afghanistan will still be my favourite country, id love to take a bunch of people with me sometime so i can show people the real Afghanistan, away from Western Media. The people of Afghanistan deserve everything after what they have been through for decades, if you could see how happy tourism makes the locals, you would go in a heartbeat. Go with an open mind, leave Politics behind and you will be amazed... thanks to everyone for their support .. i will put all travel links below ,

Thank you Emma for your honest reporting and opinions. Mainly because of you and Ameer (Blackman the traveler) I’m encouraged to visit my mother land next summer after leaving it 38 years ago. I’ll be going there with my wife, daughter and two sons. It’ll be the first time for my children and we’re all looking forward to it, In Sha Allah.
Thanks again and God bless! 🤲🏽

To me, it sounds weak character that you are only motivated because of a bunch of ytubers? I would honestly elevate myself to higher level and be comfortable in my skin and visit at least the homeland to help out against poverty etc. It is saddening to see all these weak character Asians/Middle Easterns and forget their roots.

Hello Emma! I hope you are doing well. I am an Afghan/Pashtun hailing from the Khost province of Afghanistan and currently based in Kabul. I've been closely following your Afghan series of vlogs and have been enjoying to the fullest. You are such a kind person. We were blessed to have you in Afghanistan. I am deeply moved by the fashion you had to leave Afghanistan. This person troubling you must be an ill-wisher of Afghanistan. Could you please share his details with me, so that I take up your issue with the IEA governmemt to nab this man, who is defiling the soft image of Afghanistan for tourism. IEA is a very strong government and hates anyone involved in threatening our respected tourists, who are the guests of our country, and we Pashtuns can lay our lives for our guests. I will share your this video with IEA's MoI too. How come someone can simply introduce himself as a person of GDI (Afghan intelligence) and threaten a tourist this way. We will never let this happen to someone else. This man needs to be jailed and get the lesson of his life.
I know IEA might be having a lot of shortcoming (like many governments across the globe), the main being female education, but when it comes to upholding peace and law in the country, they are matchless in the history of Afghan governance. And as you rightly said, you are tourist, and not a journalist to report on the issues. Once again Emma, we Afghans are greatful to you for showcasing the soft image of Afghanistan to the world. You are more than welcomed next time as well. And you must come back. This man will not be spared In sha Allah.

Hi Emma, first of all I am so glad to see that you are doing well and I wish you a nice continuation of this year. It's so sad to hear your story and what had happened to you with this man and I don't know what he gets out of it and my impression is that you did the right thing to leave the country because this man is evil and may have put you in danger, unfortunately there are many bad people with bad intentsions out there. I am so sorry you had to go through this difficult situation which was very unnecessary, you are such a kind warm hearted soul and you deserve dignity and respect. Regarding the threats you have received it is clear that the people and the media do not want you to show that there are good people in Afghanistan or anywhere in these particular countries so I am not surprised and the haters will always be around us and we have to deal with it and I know they feel bad about themselves as they have sleepless nights. Dear Emma, thanks for your genuine sentiment while expressing your thoughts, feelings, and experiences related to Afghanistan and the Afghan people. I haven’t been back to my motherland since 1992 when I visited my family in Kabul during my college summer break, so your videos have given me a window into my native country and how much the country has changed. You are right that poverty and misery has been around in Afghanistan for decades, but despite this the locals are trying to keep a positive attitude and go on with their lives under the current regime and make the best out of the current situation. I would love to travel to Afghanistan in the near future with my wife and children, so they can see the beautiful sights and culture that you got to experience there. ❤ from Virginia ❤

    Hi Emma:)
I extend a warm welcome to you in Afghanistan! Your blogs, uniquely grounded in the reality of our nation rather than influenced by Western propaganda, hold great value. It saddens us to hear about your unfortunate experience during your previous visit, and we sincerely apologize for any discomfort you faced.
In light of your encounter, i would like to encourage you to consider reaching out to the tourist department of Afghanistan for support. It’s worth noting that the Taliban, despite various perceptions, is known for its protective stance towards women. Utilizing local contacts and resources can often provide a different perspective and enhance your overall experience.
We genuinely hope that your future visits to Afghanistan will be filled with positive encounters, and we eagerly await more of your insightful content.

Hello Emma, first of all, I am glad that you are healthy and well, and secondly, you talked a lot about security in Afghanistan. It is true that security has improved compared to the time of the republic, and the main reason for that is that during the republic, all the insecurity was created by the Taliban themselves. They brought and they were the ones who blocked the roads between the big cities and also between the cities and the villages and harassed the travelers and in many cases they kidnapped them and looted their property and because the Taliban were the majority (99). 100% of them are from the Pashtun ethnic group, and they are also strongly tribalistic, for this reason, they kidnap and kill non-Pashtun travelers, especially Hazara travelers, and demand ransom from their families. In Afghanistan, you are probably not familiar with the structure of the Afghan society and the true nature of the Taliban. They are extremely fanatical and tribalistic and have a very strong hatred for the Persian speakers of Afghanistan and also for the Shiites of Afghanistan. It is a very strong reason for their hatred towards the Persian language and Persian speakers, otherwise there is no possibility that the Taliban commander does not know the Persian language because they hate the Persian language, that is why they pretend that they do not know the Persian language. The natural language is the majority of the people of Afghanistan, for example, the Tajiks, who make up between twenty-five and twenty-eight percent of the people of Afghanistan, speak Persian, and the Hazaras, who make up between twenty and twenty-five percent of the population of Afghanistan, speak Farsi, and the last of them are the Uzbeks. Fifteen percent of the population of Afghanistan use Persian in language communication with other ethnic groups in Afghanistan, and about seven and eight percent of the remaining smaller ethnic groups use Persian language in language communication with other groups, even the Pashtuns themselves. which make up about thirty percent of the population of Afghanistan, most of them know the language, especially in the cities, because Persian is the historical language, the language of civilization, and the written language of Afghanistan, and the language of science and knowledge, and the language of education in Afghanistan, and the Pashto language is actually only a tribal and local language in the regions It is spoken by the tribes of the east and south of Afghanistan, although in the last one and a half centuries, since all the governments in Afghanistan have been tribal and the Pashtun people of Afghanistan, they have tried very hard to weaken the Persian language and develop the Pashto language, but still among the ordinary people of Kovidanga The Persian language is the majority of seventy percent of the people, especially in the northern and central regions of the country, but in the east and south of the country, Pashto is the most popular language. Finally, if there is any mistake in the translation, I apologize because I have written the original text in Farsi. And I have translated it into English using the phone

Nice try 😂, first of all Talibans are not all Pashtuns they are Hazara Tajik, Uzbek, turkaman and more …. previous racist corrupt government was the reason for kidnapping, robbery, corruption, and discrimination, people couldn’t even walk on the street safely at that time….. previous government and also
ISIS (daaish) are the real reason for bomb explosions in Afghanistan, ISIS because they're terrorist, previous government, because they didn't want American to leave Afghanistan..... something strange about previous government I don't know why bomb was not exploding when they were inside their cars or Office ? all those bomb blast used to happened when the parliament members or ministers were out of their Office and cars? unfortunately only those poor civilian drivers and security guards used to get killed, or should I say sacrificed....now Afghanistan is progressing day by day,
      And please stop false accusations

      @AFG.A.P 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@خوشهگندم-ق4ش and by the way, why you’re calling yourself “Persian” you’re not Persian, you’re Afghan your language is Dari …. Greeks in their conquest 334
BC, on eastern countries gave that name to Iran ,Persia is a Greek name for Pars and pars was one small city, it’s not fair to call the whole country by the name of Pars ,That's why In 1935, Reza Shah asked foreigners to call Persia by the name of "Iran" real Iranian language was Pahlavi not Farsi and Dari is a very old language that you should be proud of, and Farsi is a mixture of Pahlavi ,Dari, French, Arabic, Turkish languages..

Emma, what language you have to speak in Afghanistan depends on the zone that you visit. For instance, when you visit North they speak in Uzbek language same as Uzbekistan. In central, western parts you can speak in Dari and in the East and South, you should speak in Pashtu. Afghanistan is a combination of multiple races, languages, and ethnic groups.

You are one of the well known and brave woman tourist from Europe who stepped in Afghanistan after arrival the Taliban, you showed the positive picture of Afghanistan and especially the security, so ISI never want such situation in Afghanistan, because calm situation in Afghanistan will cause cutting the money that Pakistan received from international donors to handle …. Great info in this one Emma.
I've watched all of your Afghanistan vlogs, I have to be honest at first I was thinking hang on we are told not to go to these places by our governments and then the same message is pushed by the MSN and you have proved them wrong
All I have seen is such a warm welcome with a big heart towards you by the local people in Afghanistan, after seeing your vlogs in Afghanistan its a place I would really like to visit, its a place that has intrigued me for years but thought we would not be welcome.
I love how you say you feel safer there than In London, which is a phrase me and my wife have used many times to friends when we have returned from countries which the MSN and government have advised us not to go to such has Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, Ecuador, Venezuela, El Salvador, Nicaragua and many more, we always respect the local customs along with being respectful of religious beliefs.
If we listened to them we would never go out our own front door.
The guy who gave you trouble sounds like he's some sort of stalker of tourists, hopefully he is dealt with.

However being resolved as you are to go, my best advice is to avoid the guy and don’t upload while you’re there. I don’t think there’s a snowballs chance in heck he works for any agency, you know he’s a liar. I love watching your videos, Emma. I have watched a few already, and i will keep watching more (hopefully i will keep learning about this country). First of all, i hope you will resolve this issue (if it has not been resolved yet), and will be able to return to Afghanistan if you wish so, and feel safe, as you felt till that problem.
I watched other YT videos from other vloggers (interesting enough, most of them are British too) before yours (yours so much more because you have stayed there for longer). All of you say that you felt safe there. And that's a nice thing, for sure. I also see many locals that are lovely and welcoming. But still, it seems to me that the experience you guys have, as tourists, is different from what locals have. Tourists seem to be more protected (some of you said that). You are usually accompanied by a guide (as far as i know it is not possible to travel without one). And i think, as tourists, you miss out quite a lot on some adpects, for instance how life is at home for locals, particularly women. We know women's rights are very restricted there (and punishment s exist). Restrictions also for everyone on art, music...There are armed Talibans everywhere. Tourists need a lot of permissions. So, i mean, Safe Yes (for tourists at least). Btw, in your videos you showed some incidents, so it cannot be 100% safe. But regarding Freedom, i can't see much, even for tourists (well, more than in North Korea, yes). Anyway, it is always nice to see people smiling in your videos. I hope the best for them and for their future. Cheers

Why dont you report him to the local authorities and say hes stalking you? I'm sure the government of Afghanistan would surely help. Your videos have done nothing but inspire people to travel and tell a positive story of their country.

@@WanderingEmma I don’t blame you. But I’d still make a report. Even from your home. If you can. He’s going to continue to harass future travelers.

precisely: the only way to clarify this is to return to Afghanistan because to my knowledge if the Afghan authorities grant you a visa to stay in their country, you will then be able to face this individual to try to find out what he wants exactly and if necessary to denounce him to the authorities of the country.
frankly, Afghanistan through the eyes of Wandering Emma is the antithesis of what we read in the media which target this country to make it inaccessible to tourists.
this individual appears to be doing the same thing as the media in question.
maybe they are paying him for that... who knows!

Everywhere there are provocations, fools, hooligans, enemies, and people who envy you, of course Afghanistan is not safe for loud voices and reports, we have many enemies who are afraid of the flow of tourists. If you visit Afghanistan, especially a remote village, it is very useful for longevity. success.

Afghanistan will prosper I am sure of it , and it deserves to have many many more tourists see all it has to offer and the amazing people 😊😊
