- Inside Taliban-Controlled Afghanistan 🇦🇫 Since I started to travel and explore Asia, Afghanistan has always been my dream country. The movies I have watched and the books I have read about Afghanistan have built dreamy expectations in my head of the country that I would not be able to experience anywhere else.
After my first trip in 2023, this year I made another trip to Afghanistan, and as last time, my visit did not disappoint - Afghanistan was time travel from bustling & unorganized bazaars, street shaves, same clothing in different colors, no brands, magnificent landscapes, and the bravest people with the biggest hearts of hospitality.
On my second trip, we covered Kunduz, Kabul & Herat.
Visiting Afghanistan is a sensitive topic for many people. As in any country I go to, the main objective is to share the day-to-day life and spotlight the ordinary people that the mass media fail to capture. No matter how you feel about my trip, here are my impressions as video content.
Despite facing significant challenges, Afghanistan has many positive aspects that deserve recognition: diverse landscapes, rich history, warm hospitality, delicious cuisine, resilient people, and more!
Safety:
This was the biggest concern of many people I have talked to, and naturally, that has been the main worry when you enter a war-torn country over the last 40 years. With the takeover of the Taliban, the country is much safer than before; at least no conflicts are going on.
My Persian surname, which is the same as the current supreme leader of the Taliban, my cultural background, being a man with a +3 years long beard, and looking like one of the locals do not qualify me to talk about safety much when it comes to being a tourist. I had a significant advantage, considering the above.
Disclaimer: This is not a travel advisory. Since the Fall of Kabul in 2021 until the Chinese recognition in 2024, no country has recognized the Taliban as the legitimate government of Afghanistan. There are no formal diplomatic & international relations.

Billions of dollars have been spent on "defense" by the most powerful countries, with some pursuing their geopolitical ambitions through territorial expansion. Afghanistan stands as a stark example over the past four decades, where it has borne the brunt of superpowers' strategic maneuvers. Millions of Afghans have tragically lost their lives, entire generations have been deprived of education, and a staggering 98 percent of the population lives below the poverty line. Critical infrastructure has been devastated, fostering an environment where over 4 million people are ensnared by drug abuse. More than 10 million Afghans have been driven into neighboring Iran and Pakistan, enduring deplorable and undignified conditions. If these superpowers redirected even a fraction of their colossal defense budgets towards fostering peace, the world could undoubtedly be a far better place. Similarly, the conflict in Ukraine, fueled by billions spent on war by Russia and NATO allies, has left the nation in paralysis. Millions of Ukrainians have been displaced, hundreds of thousands have perished, and the long-term repercussions for future generations remain uncertain, underscoring the devastating toll of unchecked military escalation.

Children in Ireland 🇮🇪 when I grew up , those that lived on farms would have to milk cows feeds animals an help parents before and after school , again children work very hard in my country too , too help their families , most families had between ten to fifteen children , so u can imagine , we all lived in 3 bedrooms house 🏡 , God bless the children and people of Afghanistan 🇦🇫

Hi the question that I have is what is the government doing for the families and children that don't have nothing and sometimes have no place to live. It's a shame that these children at a small age have to hustle to get food for themselves or for family. What is the government doing?? There should be a system where to help the poor.
