    Hi, the UV Editor has moved to a different place since Marvelous 10. In newer versions, look for the little box over the pattern window that says "2D Pattern window" - you can select UV Editor from there!
    There is also a quicker way to rearrange the UV Map. Right click on the UV Editor and you will see some options for automation.

    When I'm on the normal map viewer of marvelous, the map doesnt show the seam lines on the UV, but they have depth on the 3d viewport, they also change when I change the settings, also when adding a new texture, the normal map of that texture is presented on the UV, still no Seams help!

    my 3d seams normal map looks off. It doesn't show depth, intead of just lines. Probably the value are off.
    Is there any certain preparation before exporting.?

    • @windmind3d
      @windmind3d  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Blender doesn't draw the normal map as real geometry, instead it just "fakes" the shadows. Sometimes this isn't quite enough to create the illusion of depth. This comes to mind as an explanation - there shouldn't be more preparation needed.
      I've once encountered a bug in Marvelous Designer 10 where it would actually draw some extra lines in the normal map if you are in pattern edit mode (Z), but it's fine if I export in Transform Pattern mode (A).

      @@windmind3d Does your normal map shows antialliasing? Mine doesn't. It's quite strange, because I turned on 16x antialliasing

    • @windmind3d
      @windmind3d  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JuanFeju I think the anti-aliasing setting only affects display, not export. You could export normals at a higher resolution (image pixel size) which is equivalent to OSA antialiasing

      @@windmind3d Hemm. Well, somehow since yesterday my normal map suddenly have antialliasing.
      I don't know what I did. But when it didn't have, exporting the normal in higher resolution didn't help with the result. After somehow magically MD exporting the normal map with antialliasing, the result looks better.
