The story I have read is she described this song as an anxiety attack set to music. And she only agreed to record it under the condition that she never have to sing it live. Makes this performance even more special.

I read it was a bet that she lost with Rudy that they wouldn’t be able to sold out in the Pepsi Center

Sweet baby Jesus, Bro. I 'LIKED', for the channel, but I'm gonna have to be in a different head space before I watch this later. After watching ~100 reactors to the crowd-cam version and crying every. damn. time... I might have to go to therapy after the wave of reactors hit up this version. I just can't with this girl.... She transforms from badass rock drummer, monster behind the kit, to a little girl who just really needs a big, long bear hug from her Dad, and it crushes me every time.

this Pepsi Center performance was the 3rd of the three 10th Anniversary concerts... they played the same performance in Guadalajara (Oct 21, 2023, Teatro Diana - 2500+), Monterrey (Oct 25, 2023, Pabellon M - 4500+), and Mexico City (Oct 28, 2023, Pepsi Center - 8000+)... all three performances had the same set list (with a notable difference or two), same costumes, same stage design and light show (or as close as possible for the venue)... they premiered both, *S!ck* and *Hell You Call A Dream* , in Guadalajara... they had the 10-piece string sections with them at all three... the lighting was done by the same guy that does Halestorm's lighting... he had some free time that matched DPA/TW's schedule so they made things happen... somewhere is a BTS showing them working on the lighting programming and controls at the office before doing it all actually setup... very cool stuff...
i saw all three performances via live fan cam streams and they were ... i mean, "WOW!" doesn't even begin to describe it... i remember the surprise when the string section appeared out of nowhere for *Black Holes* and *Enter Sandman* ... and the double surprise with *S!ck* and *HYCAD* was indescribable... Pau playing *Breathe* right after *Black Holes* here in Mexico City was a monstrous surprise to everyone watching... there were a lot more than 8000 pairs of eyes overflowing from that portion of the set... i fully enjoyed seeing them and only miss not actually being there... i can't wait for their Atlanta show to get here 😉😹

The funny thing is that Pau has stated publicly in at least one interview that the piano is actually her “favorite” instrument because of the versatility it offers her when writing songs.
She’s also said something to the effect that there’s only so many notes you can play on the drums.
I’d have to guess that playing drums is actually a co-favorite for Pau as well however. Not many drummers seem to have as much fun as Pau does behind her kit…
That's why there are so many composers that play the piano.

Well an amazing and heart breaking performance, and just today The Waring has been nominated for Best Rock Song, with the song QUE MAS QUIERES, for the 2024 Latin Grammy Awards. Viva Mexico!! makes me very proud!!
Pau is so good and passionate about her music, regardless of the instrument... I kind of think she's the drummer because they needed a drummer, if that makes sense. From what I've seen, she's not trained in bass or guitar, but I have no doubt that if she felt that she needed to learn those, she would excel at those, too.
Have you seen their videos where they try and teach each other their instruments? Entertaining stuff!

Zack, there are plenty of tickets for the concert at the new frontwave arena on Oceanside the only down side is that they will not be headliners, Seether is the headliner the show os on the 12 of October. Tickets available at axs.
The other two performers are Geovannie and the hired guns and Tim Montana and the Warning, no idea on the order of appearance . The concert starts at 7pm

Likley they are looking at the length of the clip and figuring YT's algorithm favors shorter videos - which isn't entirely true. Engagement, comments, and likes are what matters.
