Essentially, this is the beginning of the exploitation of the artist's simple heart and his / her artistry. To conclude, being talented is not enough, but along with that being rooted in Dharma is the anchor that is needed so that the talent is not hijacked by Adharmic forces, posing as a Dharmic force, as Communism / Leftism has been portraying itself over the last century by it's limited understanding or denial to appreciate Spirituality and Religion, by misleading generations, because at the core of Communist power are a handful of megalomaniac leaders. Similarly, artists who work for their selfish interest and who use their talent to knowingfully corrupt society and justify their action as freedom of expression and speech are simply prostitutizing their talent. Unfortunately, under Leftist influence, people and especially the youth are brainwashed upon the appreciation of Spirituality and Religion which is showcased as a 'system' to stifle people whereas it is the reverse as Spirituality and Religion helps to dive within to know one's true nature and come to appreciate the Divinity within and come to understand the unity in diversity, unlike Communism where individual freedom has no place, and where people are treated as slaves under the command of the megalomaniacs in power. On the surface Communism seems quite seductive, but in reality it is not productive for the betterment of humanity.
Hinduism cannot be limited to so called 'religion' bracket alone. Once , properly understood and applied, the true nature of it being a beautiful way of life, humanity, peace, and afterlife can be experienced, shared and taught. Hinduism is one of the most beautiful ways of leading a human life. Once, all of humanity realises this, humans will stop limiting in a religion set or fruitless other vs hinduism debate.

I guess the answer lies in the fact that the art produced by the left resonated with the people because it was in favour of liberty and social justice in the creation of an egalitarian society while the right wing ideologies seek to re establish the conservative old world order that help to establish a society with rigid social hierarchies on the basis of oppression. Art will resonate with the people only as long as it is in favour of freedom, liberty. The same can be observed in the case of the former Soviet Union and East Germany where the left wing political movements “in favour of the people” eventually turned oppressive. In these societies art that was sanctioned by the regime was rejected by the people and the art that spoke for the individual and his liberty had to go underground because of political oppression and found resonance with the people there. Art that aligns itself with power becomes propaganda. Power in general and especially tyrannical power is opposed to uncomfortable truths which is what egalitarian art seeks to establish. The human soul ultimately seeks liberty and its own liberation.
