I understand there was a difficulty issue with the mining pool causing the drop outs. Is there any fixes lined for issues switching pools and showing 0ms in the GUI, also not being able to change pools within the app? Also the latest update causing the nano 3 to not want to connect to any pools? Cheers
My Avalon Nano 3 network status 0ms! Can someone help me? I update the software and reset to factory setting and still said Network Status 0ms. it's a $300 device wtf.
I am also runninng 2x Nano3 boxes everyday on ViaBTC pool mining BCH. I do not have any of the mentioned problems everything runs perfect. They are running in medium hash mode . High hash mode also works but i am a little bit afraid about the temperature of the boxes in this mode and the fans are getting also louder.
You know it's designed to be a space heater right? Don't worry about the temps, it's designed that way dude😂. I've run mine full whack at 90c for about 2 months now in the summer. No problems at all.
The major swings in variance is due to its low hashing speed. You may get only one share here and there which is why you see the spikes in stats. See if you can set a static diff. you aren’t looking to submit shares in a solo pool. Only thing you want to submit is blocks and that would prolly be at least 50 years for a 100% diff block. You get unlucky and it takes longer than you have on this earth.
Depending on your network configuration and on your ISP provider, it could be the firewall interfering with the devices traffic just a thought. I ran into similar issue while I was troubleshooting a clients network.
Try Braiins pool. My Avalon has been fine with them, no drop outs. I do have an update to do on my Avalon but it won’t take. What was that other miner you have just next to your Avalon?
I've had a load of great suggestions for things to try so I'll go through all of them see what works. Will then make a follow up video. Really appreciate yours and everybody else's advice!
I’ve been running mine on mining-Dutch pool and I’ve been running it multiport solo just for fun got it today so I’m just testing it out and curious to see if I hit anything
Try a factory reset and keep changing it to different pools and leave them on for 15 mins or so each time. Mine just started working on lucky monster so I'm leaving it on that now
If u run ur network on vpn it looks right like that…i got the same problem and going to use the network from my neighbor…he aint got any safety features 😂
Once i set My Nano at BCH solo mining pool , it call me reboot. After reboot those fans dont work and say is too high temp need me turn off. How to fix it ?
So I had to reset it multiple times and try lots of different pools before I found one that worked. Try that and send it back if it's still not working. Mine's currently stable but I'm scared to touch it or make any changes as it was so much effort to get it working
Mine has been on CK Pool for just over 2months, running in high mode. Now im having issues with it just over a day mining, it drops off stops mining and cant connect to the miner itself. I have to turn it off and back on. Also, the fans have gotten noisy sounds like the bearings are on their way out or something, lol.
It's fine when it's running happy but yeah it does seem to have these odd tantrums. Fingers crossed mine is in a happy place mining away but the fan getting noisy is probably going to kill it quickly as they already seem to have heat issues if they're not getting great airflow
So the earning mining on a pool with others is very low per day, people "solo mine" on a pool meaning they have an incredibly small chance of hitting a block by themselves, but if that happens you get big rewards, so it's not something that is going to reliably make money, just gives you a small chance of getting a nice win
@@BlueBearCrypto I want rewards everyday constantly I don't want to wait until I get lucky or broke. I can only mining ⛏️ Bitcoin with Avalon nano 3 or other coin's too ?
I have seen that in the 2miners pool ALL miners that are below 32 th/s have performance drops to 0 th/s continuously. I think the problem is not our nano. The problem is the pool. Excuse my English.
I think you're right about 2 miners. I think the difficulty for each miner is too high so there's times when the nano 3 doesn't push any shares through. I've sorted this and locked the difficulty on a new pool so it's as stable as you can get it now. Update vid coming soon on what I've done to keep it as consistent as possible

I've just been through something the same with my Nano 3. I tried 2miners after I saw you using it, and found that I was getting crazy highs, and dropping out completely, so I went back to solopool and it ran at a stable #rate. I had problems when I changed pools on the GUI, had the red ring, and found that by changing pools in the phone app instead, it solved that problem. My second Nano keeps losing it's GUI, and a green light comes on inside when you look in the front grills. It still uses energy as though it's #ing, but it doesn't seem to be on my network 🤷🏻♂️
It's so weird isn't it! I also noticed when it wasn't properly connected to a pool it was still showing a hashrate it was supposedly doing and using power. Did my nut in
Same here, frustrating isn't the word! I have that nano on a segment timer now, it just kicks in for a few hours while the sun is on my very limited solar system, then it gets a fresh reboot every day.
There's a good chunk of people with problems and a good chunk that are running fine, so it might be part of the problem that certain batches are just not as good

Solo mining with mine on LuckyMonster and seems to be working fine so far. Only on low mode atm due to the heat but so far so good. The update also worked fine for me 🤷♂
No luck for me. Both my Nanos are not connecting to any pool. One did connect to the US BCH pool of 2miners briefly but nothing since then. No-WiFi-Symbol stays on continuously.
No issues at all here.. just put in on ckpool and your set.
