He would have had the all white imperial commando armor not his armor from the CW we see him with his armor on in the war mantle episode and it’s all white
I’m sure when they do the Clone Underground show they will. Because they have to do expand more on them to answer the unanswered questions from the bad batch.
Yeah, it would be cool, but this show has a format that the character has three episodes and I don't know what would have been the third one about Gregor (the second would be battle of Sarish). I'd like to see Delta squad in some Tales of the Republic.
@@Cardo... First episode: Battle of Sarish Second episode: Survival Third episode: Either between when he survives and his appearance in the Bad Batch or between the Bad Batch and Rebels
the fact his voice didn't drip madness in his dying seconds showed that his words were very sincere at the end. No funny undertone no crazy voice, stock clone voice with every bit of heart he had left.
This man was a BEAST! Despite major memory loss and lack of training, he absolutely decimated those droids on Abafarr, with uncomparable aim. Notice how he only requires 1 or 2 clean shots to take out every single one of them. And even during the battle he is quick to adapt and destroy those Rhydonium containers to take out Droidekas and other heavy units. Then he proceeds to survive a huge rhydonium explosion which we see later almost took down a major Republic fleet, somehow survives the impact and despite suffering from a concussion he took out those TKs with ease in hand to hand combat, took two shots from Scorch at point blank like a boss and still managed to walk out of this. Even in his 60s, he managed to throw the guy down a pit after he got shot in a vital area. Say what you want about Rex, but Gregor is an absolute unit.
Clone Commandos are literally the Space Marines of the Star Wars Univers. Elite One Man Armys that will absolutly wreck ur shit if u are stupid enough to fight them. Love it
It’s incredible how far the animation has come since Clone Wars. Season 5 of Clone Wars looked great. Season 7 looked even better; better lighting, textures, animation and effects. Now there’s The Bad Batch who’s animation is so good that it’s hard to imagine how it could look any better. I absolutely love the Clone Wars art style, I hope they continue to make new series with this art style. Tales of the Jedi and Tales of the Empire were also gorgeous
Holy crap this blow my mind as a kid I saw the scene in clone wars where Gregor dies I literally though he DIED but he actually survived the explosion I am literally both surprised and extremely happy he lived through it all
I have an idea for the next poll. Participants will be clone troopers X (clone assassins, imperial operatives, etc.). I suggest taking the clone X, CX-2, CX-3, CX-4, CX-5 and CX-6.
Funny how echo a domino squad member who became defective still sounds more like a clone than Gregor Sad that Rex doesn’t wear his armor but it does solidify that the rebel in return of the Jedi who steals trooper armor is captain Rex
The problem with the Clone war series is that they don’t show flashback or backstory a lot on how some characters survive (Gregor is a prime example considering he was last seen fighting droids while blowing up rhydonium)
@@wjw2807 Yeah, but at the time The Clone Wars season 5 aired, Gregor was meant to be dead, that's why they didn't show us how he survived in the clone wars. (However they could have shown that in the other shows, but it wouldn't bring anything to the plot.)
Captain Gregor's final words before succumbing to his wounds: It was an honor to serve with you, Rex. It was an honor to fight with you for something that we chose... to believe in...
My only guess, is that the armor Gregor was wearing allowed him to be protected from the shrapnel and explosive from the barrels and he likely took cover somewhere where it wouldn't cause that much impact Because otherwise je would have had more scars like Echo Also when learni g that originally thete were gonna be 7 Clones in tbe lost commanders instead of just 3, it made me think they divided from rex (who was of course an important character in CW) Wolffe, (also a nice recurring clone) and Gregor whom i think they just included on a coin toss Like don't get me wrong i am glad they had it where Gregor did survive to see his brothers again, but still it felt like even the creators didn't know how to explain it
Here's how I imagine we get from Clone Wars Season 5 Gregor to Bad Batch Season 1 Gregor: colonel gascon (the bug dude in the astromech) informed the Republic that the Separatists mined out a Abafar a remote world for the rhydonium and they encounted a MIA cline commando who helped them thwart the Separatist plot to blow up the Security Meeting at Carida (as seen in the DSquad Arc). A group of clone commandos (probably led by Delta Squad) arrive at the town and locate Gregor, in critical condition but still alive. Gregor survives (obviously) but the rhydonium explosion causes his eccentricness and also disrupts his inhibitor chip. He also meets Rex during this time and I imagine gives him the beacon we see in Bad Batch Season 1 if he is ever in a sticky situation again. I like to imagine that Gregor didn't execute order 66 due to the explosion. A month of two into the reign of the Empire Gregor, Scorch and all the other commandos are transferred to Daro to begin training the very first stormtroopers (known as TK troopers). Realizing the Empire is replacing clones with conscripted civilians, Gregor sabotages his training of the conscripts and attempts to flee the base but trips a base alarm, which results in the opening of Bad Batch Season 1 Episode 14
Bro we never even got to see where the Bad Batch dropped Gregor off after the War Mantle episode, or am I tripping? He just disappears in between episodes lmao
