The principle is exactly the same, average the speed of the motors and add the FLA rating of each motor for a total current value. Remember the total current can not exceed the drive rating in amps, and you will need individual overload protection for each motor.
How do I hook up 2 dissimilar 3ph motors to run off a single VFD that is converting a 50 amp 220 single ph supply to 220 3ph and run them at the same time? Need to run 1hp and a 1/8 hp motor running at the same time without having to spend $700 on 2 seperate motor starters?
I have a scheineder electric driver it has the second motor option and l have programmed the settings required by the driver, but when a switch it for the second motor any command is received in the driver. Could you tell me please what could be happening to my driver?

That's because 1253 is a Standard Default configuring value. USE 1001 TO SAVE Parameters. Do you need a copy of the manual?

As long as the total HP (motor 1 + motor 2) does not exceed the drive HP rating you should be ok to run both at the same time, ok?
