  • We love our old John Deere 40 combine. We've shown it on the channel before but I think it is too cool to just show once. We had one little piece of wheat to harvest and figured why not take the old combine out of storage and use it.

Love those old combines, I'd love to find a 42 or a 65 pull type to pull behind my 720 diesel!!

We had a 55 before we upgraded to a m2 gleaner, old girl sounded like a tiger when you really got going, for a old combine that thing was pretty fast in wheat

How long would it take to harvest 200 acres with the 40 🤔

I would think an acres an hour would be maximum in good wheat, probably 250 hours!

Was the John Deere 40 passed down to you or did you buy it and fix it up? Cool old machine!

I bought it about 20 years ago from a great neighbor. I’m kinda fond of it! Thanks
