This video is longer then normal , because I also made a nice PearOS 6.01 Rom for this device Official Nightly ., and I show you how to set it up and how to upgrade the browsers ., to not get messages - Your browser is to old cannot play video stream - etc I explain stuff you will only understand after watching this video and so it became a LA video 😅
A nice phone that will still serve you in 2022 with great look and feels - functionalities you wont find in any Android 6 Custom rom .
Development of the engine is official even
do it's not being worked on anymore and credits goes to Engineer Pinky Cyanogen now LineageOS developer I did the concept ., looks and feels of the Rom .,
I made a Pack with everything in it ..
Step 1 Step 2 step 3 Done - you can now flash roms up to Android 6.01
Why not Android 7 or even 12 ?
Because we will need to repartition our internal drive and it's not without risk .. so I first want you to enjoy the S2 on a Rom it can handle very well ..
Battery life good ?
Is the Battery still good after all these years must be the first question to ask yourself - so get a new 14.98 battery if possible a official one .. then ask or test again - this device is from 2011? so imagine your car - is it still on a battery from 11 years old? I dont think so 👊🤣
So go ahead and upgrade !

@channel48 4.1.2 version I skipped putting it in the sdcard instead I putted the files into the Internal storage but it worked after that step That TWRP Recover Screen I ddnt get that I got something another one on screen how do I fix this😢

Thanks buddy., well it stays a old phone … I say the best is Android 6.01 for it and yes under 6.01 you can use many apps still but keep in mind that most popular apps such as WhatsApp Facebook insta TikTok are energy and data swallowing apps and having them will make experience miserable - but using aurorastore instead of gapps snd opensource apps without spyware you should be good

This works, although I had to use Odin 1.85. The 2nd time i've tried that giude - didn't work for me anymore (recovery bootloop after flashing file 2)... do you know why ?

PearOS link is dead. Plsease lin realy upload. Can you upload the file again? I tried 10 systems and none of them are installed on the phone. Thank you from now. These are what I want for my phone; mobile network stable, android version 5 and above, wifi. The rest is not very important. I am waiting for your reply.

@@tomy7228 Well if you only need to do that be on 6 its lite - btw to go to 7 you must repartition your drive - it could go weong and phone dies for ever

you will never get it - you must first Rewind to How to upgrade samsung s2 from stock and go for my last video - this can only be done after allot of pre work
Let me first say, i really appreciate your tutorial. I figured that there something big missing, when you started to download the second labeled file to the S2. At that point i was completely lost.
I have to say though, this tutorial gave me really the impression that this video is all you need to upgrade since there is no "Part x" in the video title, nor did you mention that you have to do some preperations. But now, im releaved that there is still a chance
