    Just bought the AWE Track Exhaust for my 21 STI from you guys and boy…. night and day difference! All the pops and rumble just from it kicks the OEM to the curb. Best purchase hands down and definitely the first thing that should be done on all WRX models!

    How was the noise in the cabin? I am really interested in adding this specific exhaust, but I don’t want cabin drone. Thanks!

      I got mine last week and in 5th or 6th gear around 3000 RPMs you can't hear it at all. But I'd say 1st-3rd you can definitely hear it

      @Sean Sullivan if you have your stereo at 21 or higher you won't hear it but if it's lower than that it's very noticeable. I've had it so long I barely notice it now.

    Hey, Foster. Great video! Quick question: How was the cabin noise from the "track edition" non-muffled/non-resonated version? I am looking to order this system once my VB gets here and need something that's good for daily driving (30 minute commute each way to work). Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers!

    • @FosterJohnsonMedia
      @FosterJohnsonMedia ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This one really isn’t too bad for a daily driver. It has a nice tone, with minimal drone. That said it will be a slight compromise compared to the oem system for commuting. But I’ll take that trade any day for more fun during spirited driving!! 🤙

      in 6th gear at cruising speeds of around 65 MPH it really wasn't that loud in the car!

  • @K03sport
    @K03sport 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Both the VA and VB wrx could benefit from a dual switch system. One side has a muffler (muffler flows plenty well) and the other side is straight/track pipe (no muffler). Add a valve at the "Y" to direct to either the muffler or the track pipe. Quite or loud at the flick of a switch. And no, it would not be complicated or restrict flow.
