I cut my teeth in the truckin industry back in the 80’s working around the Melbourne waterfront. I was pulling containers and LCL for a company called Interport who were on the corner of Mackenzie Road and Footscray Rd. I think it was Mackenzie Rd, it’s very different now. I then ended up working for TNT Refrigeration across the road and that was my lead into highway running. It’s a long time ago and millions of miles since. But you’ve definitely got the passion for trucks that reminds me of those great old days. I’m still truckin to this day. 60 now. #uppah 🤙🏼
solid video mate!! try and do a pov of your whole day but cut out some of the unloading parts or make them shorter, tell a funny yarn whilst driving too hahaha love it bruz
Always had an interest in trucking. Your videos are awesome giving us an insight into the job. Maybe more content explaining how to process paperwork and the etiquette at the docks bro!! Keep it up
watching you drive inner city gives me anxiety lol I'll stick to my country roads up north here in QLD hauling my AB triples :P love the content tho bosh 🤙
😂 can be daunting if you’ve never been. Living in Melbourne my whole life helps and beforehand my old job has a lot of rigid city deliveries. Even taken a semi to south Melbourne market next to Melbournes famous bridge 😂 Montague Street bridge
Really sick to see the shipping yard and the truck loaded! Go past there a fair bit and really sick to see I also love the fav view with the mirror building, always the best feeling to see the ride in the reflection while cruising 🍻
Retired after nearly 50 years changing gears. Local is good to get you home a lot more but always preferred long haul load and unload once a week. Safe travels.
I just got my HR road ranger license mate, so very new to it all. With these heavy loads are you starting in low before going to 1st? Do you split shift the low range gears aswell or is it not really needed? I see you split the high range gears

I pretty much drive loaded 1 - 4 whole gears low box and high box start splitting hills and heavy u can play around not necessary tho.
Good job Noah.

You recommend going straight to mc then apply for work ??
Mc is a big head fk if you’ve got zero experience wouldn’t recommend start small build big up! I was eager for mc progress there slowly
@ I’ve been driving hr here and there but plan to get mc license but just drive hc to start with I’m sick of rigid trucks 😂
