    12:27 I had no idea there was a Stereo Pan option hiding in the Channel Strip! Such a great tip, thanks!

    Beautiful Jono. Wonderful start to my day. I became so immersed in the lesson that I tried to close of one of your instrument panels through youtube lol.
    Thanks for the lovely ideas.

    Hi Jono! The finished piece creates a lot of imagery for story telling! I imagined a group of people all connected to one another but in separate places, each preparing to come together for the same event to take place later that evening. Some are laying out their outfits. Some are shopping for decorations or picking up flowers. Others are at the hall preparing tables and chairs. Preparing food for the evening. (FLH3official also got it!) That was a great way to introduce Studio Piano.

    The golden leaves swirl in the wind, on a bench, in the last light on the day, our Jono swims in the romantism of the autumn... 😊

    13:12 Very relatable… Have had times where I have looked under my desk, and realised the sustain pedal has gone walkabout…
    Don’t feel I got how this is propulsive..? Is it being driven forwards by rotation..? Very pretty, though… Very…. sunrise with your new romantic interest after a night at a rave..?

    • @jonobuchananmusic
      @jonobuchananmusic  29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Oh absolutely, the Sustain Pedal is always wandering off! I've explained what I mean by a Propulsive Piano at around 04:10. It's perhaps not quite the right word. But rhythmical or undulating didn't feel like quite the right words either... ; )

      @@jonobuchananmusicNoooo. It is not. The philosopher in me what’s a better term for this.
      Like multi-timbral oscillating polyrhythmic ostinatos, maybe..?

    • @danielnice1695
      @danielnice1695 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Asked ChatGPT about this term, and the response was that “this term suggests a composition or passage that uses varied instrumental sounds, with evolving rhythmic patterns that interlock in complex ways, while maintaining a consistent repeated motif. This combination can create a captivating and immersive musical experience.”

    I'm guessing Piano is only available in the latest version of Logic Pro? I have an older macbook pro.

    • @jonobuchananmusic
      @jonobuchananmusic  22 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Studio Piano was indeed introduced with Logic 11 which requires the more recent architecture and OS, I’m afraid.
