For thinset you will most likely need like 40 x 50lb bags of thinset for the area you mention before at .5 inch trowel ridges. As for the tile you just pic what you like that are about the same in terms of installation. Are you located in the USA? Thinset calculator link: www.omnicalculator.com/construction/thinset
@tevinjourney that’s ok I was just asking because it would be easier to recommend tile options if you were in US. You will have to research this part on your own do the area that you live in.

5:30 belive what you want, but if something drops on those tiles i believe they're gonna crack, cause there's higher chance of having voids or air pockets for easier understanding that don't provide support
It’s been two years, and the tiles are still holding up well. If anything changes, I’ll be sure to update you with a video. I appreciate you paying close attention and catching the nuances of the topic!
My question is why at the entryway didn't you place half long tiles on both sides of walls rather than one whole and a half on opposite wall? I was just wondering. Not judging. I'm not an expert.
That is a great question. When you walk in to the condo your eye goes to the left because of all the entrances and the tile all looks whole on the left side. As for the right side the cut tile go behind the front door when it’s open and the openings on the right to the closets also give the right wall a look of having full tiles the whole way. And it allowed us to use some of its we already had to minimize waste.
Tile looks beautiful... another top notch job 👍
