    Are they beneficial for skin conditions?

      They are helpful yes! My son suffered from eczema and never sat in the hot tub once we switched to salt he was in it all the time. I would do more research on your particular situation though!

    I have a Coleman Saluspa and I'm wanting to change to salt. It has the egg that contains everything so how would I go about doing that?

      I am so sorry I am not familar with how to do that. Can you contact a Coleman dealer.

    wow, love all your content. Most excellent. Question - have a 9yr old Envoy and looking to upgrade. Is 2023 Hotsprings worth it just for the salt? Envoy @ 18 or Sovereign at 16k

    • @TheHotTubLady
      @TheHotTubLady  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely in my opinion. You will also get a brand new warranty and your current hot tub should have some decent trade in value! Go for it!

      @@TheHotTubLady Great thanks for the reply. Will be going with an Envoy then using salt. I searched your videos but couldn't find anything about covers. I saw a video about smartop that looked nice but they are pricey!! Do you recommend or is something else out there

    With the Hot Spring Triumph model being discontinued, what would you suggest as a replacement?

    • @TheHotTubLady
      @TheHotTubLady  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would look at the sovereign! If you moved quickly you should be able to find a Triumph yet

    Great video! If I were to buy a saltwater hot tub, could I choose to run it as a ‘traditional’ hot tub if I wanted/needed to? Not sure why I would choose to do that, but thought I would ask.

    • @TheHotTubLady
      @TheHotTubLady  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      yes you can take the salt system off if you do not want it. You just need to drain the salt out and start with fresh water.

  • @palestrose
    @palestrose ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I had two freshwater salt cells die after 1-2 months. Bad cell (same box of three) or am I doing something to cause that? We’re usually running at level 6. Water is balanced! I use the scale product you recommend and occasional MPS.

    • @TheHotTubLady
      @TheHotTubLady  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I haven’t seen a bad cell in over a year …. You should not be using stain and scale control in a salt water hot tub it raised the water phosphates to high. You f your phosphates are above 300 or your hardness is Anne 75 you will burn through salt cells quickly

    • @palestrose
      @palestrose ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheHotTubLady TY! I'll keep an eye on the phosphates then and drop the scale product.

    What about corrosion on the parts? Does it basically destroy your plumbing within 3-5 years?

    • @TheHotTubLady
      @TheHotTubLady  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Absolutely not. There are thousands of salt water hot tubs that have been in the market for over 20 years now.
