I prefer this tool belt over buckaroo and diamondback. This is the framing belt from Obvious Tool Co

As a stay at home dad, I’ve designed a similar belt to hold washing pegs, cleaning cloths, vacuum attachments etc.. 👍

I prefer the toughbuilt toolbelt, 2 reasons.
1 is that you can unclip the pouches when needing to and clip back on and keep going, this is a game changer believe me.
2 is relating to 1 where you can put a setup in the back of the van and organise them and clip the one you use for which ever job requires them organising is another level for me, from a handyman review. 👍

They look like nice belts, but I just don’t get why people want so many pouches and to Cary every hand tool they own. I just carry a tape, hammer, ruler, knife, chisel, coupla punches and a square and that’s it. Much easier on the body weight wise and also you’re far more nimble and agile without all
    The bulky pouches

I am a finish carpenter! I carry two speed squares, a multi mark, 6 “ tri square, punch, Olfa knife, chisel (razor sharp) , 10 oz Stiletto, mallet , 16’ tape , laser tape , a welders marked shim, ear buds, fat boy pencil, felt pen, Tajami chalk line ( sometimes) , squares of sandpaper 220/120, a T-10,20,25, & Phillips ; in a custom made set of Akribis finish bage w/ suspenders .
I work around guys who always , brag on how little they carry? Then they barrow tools from me or others all the time !
Best is the carpenter w/ o a tool belt ? Light on their feet and don’t get crap done ? Always going here or there looking for you name it !
Bragging about how little you carry doesn’t impress a seasoned pro !

      @@zephyr1408 There’s no bragging mate, I’m
Explaining why I don’t think belts with lots of pouches are necessary. I’m a “seasoned pro” as well and build houses from foundation to finish ( which isn’t un-common in Australia ) You can always carry a few more tools depending on what you’re doing but there’s no need to carry all of them at all times.

@@nickksimo fair enough, I don’t build houses or at least u don’t want me too?
And I do hv set ups for my belt. And I am not even close to being good enough to brag? Ok hv a good one !

Just depends on the job mate. If you’re up in rafters, if you’re doing finish work, if you’re an electrician, blah blah you may need a shit ton of stuff. Just doing a fence rebuild I need screws, nails, chalk line, square, driver, level, knife, hammer, mallet, nail puller, diagonals, shim, and that’s just off top of my head.
