- Join me as we bring the Knights from their desperate starting position to global dominance. The Knights offers one of the most difficult, but also most interesting, starts in Europa Universalis 4.
This is Part 2. Part 1 is here: • EU4 1.36 Knights to Mu... - เกม
I find it very endearing how you have to keep reminding yourself that you're not going for a WC.
I wasn’t even conscious of that, haha 😂
Your content is such a hidden gem. If you ever get burnt out on EU4, this style would also be fantastic for other games. I foresee great growth in the future.
If I ever get burnt out on EU4, I might start a gardening channel instead-watch me conquer the world of tomatoes :) Seriously though, thanks much -- this means a lot!
the most impressive is the patients you display with all the OE and rebels.
Oh, I only sounded patient because I’ve played and recorded the game a few weeks ago and did the voice over today, so I have recovered from the stress :)
@@StrategySphere hah yea I now always go humanist simply because I hate rebels so much. Its such a grind especially later in the game - hopefully EU5 will make dealing with them less annoying while still enjoying the game
I have to say I really appreciate how you giving some personal information about you, like your birth place last video or how you got to know Europa Universalis.
I am, by no means, saying that you should always give personal informatio of course. I just wanted to acknowledge it and thank you for it, it is always good to humanise youtubers, some times is hard to realise you are much more than one voice speaking through our screens.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks, I appreciate your kind words. I love the EU4 community and appreciate the connections which come from it. Back in the day, we used to meet up for a beer! :)
Well, if you ever visit Spain, it would be my pleasure to invite you to a couple beers!! 🍻
Even the "hello, my name is Alex" does that to some degree 👍
the okinawa comment from the ryuku video was heartwarming
Thanks for saying that :)
Your content is very interesting, not even movies can hold my attention this well, I wish you succes, and I sincerely hope others will recognise the quality of your content so that you become large enough to start uploading more often.
Maybe I should start a new series on how to make movies more interesting! 😉 Seriously though, thanks for your vote of confidence.
Hey Alex, love the videos once again. You've got the best, most creative, entertaining and fun EU4 content out there and you're a real gem of a channel. These chill videos have been really great for me as they really feel like sitting down next to a friend for a while and playing a game. Both formats are great since you execute the style so well. Love from US East Coast
Hey there! Thanks for the awesome feedback! Super happy you enjoy the content. Much love from my side to the US East Coast!
Make India Uzbek again
😂👍
Bruh
"I'm only taking the coast and the forts" 😅
Strategy and execution don’t always match… :)
Great campaign Alex, I've never tried switching tags, cultures, religions et6c like you do, I tend to play each country quite vanilla...You've definitely given me some inspiration... thanks as always
Thanks for watching, glad I could give you some ideas! These days, we can do so many country / religion / culture combinations to spice the game up a bit :)
>hyperblobs at the end of the run
Ah, I see you're also a man of culture.
😂👍
WOW THIS IS THE BEST EU4 CHANNEL EVER, subbed broski!
Haha thanks so much! Glad you’re enjoying it
Very nice. Looking forward to your next video
Thank you :)
I finally caught up on all the new videos, so glad you're back! Can't wait for the next video!
Thanks so much :) next one is in production!
So many videos in such a short time frame! I am very happy to see you back on YT my friend, another great video!
Thanks, simply had a few campaigns recorded and accumulated!
I have really liked your videos lately, they are good quality and enough in quantity. I left a like, sub and comment for the algorithm, I wish you the best of luck going forward.
Thanks for your support, much appreciated :)
Great channel bro! Greetings from brazil
Thanks much! 🙏
Diversity in the content is great, good decision! Also if i could give you a piece of advice, if could zoom in a bit the in game text it would be great for better clarity (Zlewik scale for example)
Thank you! And yes, I agree on the zoom. In the next videos, trying to zoom in more!
great consistency!
Thanks, I’m trying! :)
Great run! Love the video editing
Thanks much 🙏
Really made me laugh a few times, especially the childrens playground comment 😂
Glad it worked :)
Great conclusion, keep it up!
Thanks, glad you liked it!
Oh, I started with EU 2
An old person like meeee!
👍😂
I agree with your decision totally i really like your videos and i look up to what you gonna upload next
Thanks so much for your support! :)
again a new top video! thanks for running knights like this
Thank you! The Knights are really a lot of fun.
Love from India.
Nice vid Btw
Thanks so much 🙏
Absolutely glorious video as always Alex well done! Will you do a True Heir of Timur run sometime?
Thanks much! Yep, I plan to start doing runs dedicated to achievements, so should get to it some time. This could become a proper Mughal game…
@@StrategySphere I believe that would kill 2 birds with 1 stone!
Yay another video
Glad to see you back!
Playing for fun > playing optimal
Fair! :)
I find this is good content to chill out to! also very informative today i finished my choson one ach following the start of your playthrough. Was interesting to try the mandate for a change! Think my next run will be similar to this forming multiple tags: la na (for cav based missions, aristocratic ideas and early formable)->siam(for busted cav ideas)->tibet for steppe horde for horde ideas as well. Question is who do i form after that?
Thanks, and that sounds like a great campaign idea. At the end, I’d probably form Yuan a game like that, it seems to fit the concept :)
@@StrategySphere well that run is dead seems paradox has stealthily put the dumb requirement of having to force 2 disasters for any country other and Attuthaya to form Siam...
Really? I didn't know that, thanks.
Love your videos man. What mods do you use to make your map look that that?
Thanks so much! It’s “theatrum orbis terrarum” from the Steam Workshop. It’s quite old but still works…
Man, I need your mod setup! Looks so good!
Hi! It’s “theatrum orbis terrarum” from the Steam Workshop.
@@StrategySphereYou're a star! Love your videos by the way! Found your channel yesterday and I will definitely stay for more!
@@Lutawhuiklik thanks, glad you’re here! :)
Love your vids! Whats your favorite nations to play ?
Thank you! I’d say Saluzzo and Qing, and maybe Novgorod. How about you?
@@StrategySphere i mostly play trade nations and my most favourite game was with ethiopia
This campaign is visually amazing, is it possible to have a link for the visual mod?
Anyway, excellent quality again
Hi! Thank you - it’s this one: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1867433999
@@StrategySphere Thank you sir!
I do kinda wish i could play EU4 game that isn't just about conquest but i feel as soon i stop thinking about expanding my territory the game and the story i created just stop.
So even though i never play for world domination i always plan like i'm about to haha
Yeah, same. I tried playing a “tall” game as Milan the other day and then found myself invading Spain and Africa…
From what I see, EU5 should offer more variety in this sense!
Wonder if Castile got stuck with the infantes disaster
Ah, this could have been the case.
Play as Rugen and form Pirate Republic Prussia!
This sounds fun :) I tried it a few months ago and liked the game a lot. Might do!
I like the achievement type runs with achievements that arent in game. Like here: starting as knights become the mughals while having Christian religion.
Maybe you can come up with more wacky ideas?
This is a great idea, thanks much - should keep things interesting! Will try :)
Russia didn't protect qq because of holy war cb.
Ah yep, thats right!
Could you do a part three claiming EoC as Mughals? Or the "Minghals" in general? Is it worth it/viable?
I'm assuming Court/Humanist is the play.
Hi! Yep, I want to do an EoC Mughals with Confucian religion. Humanist will definitely be critical, although I still don’t see the place to use Court.
could you make a tall run mby? riga, holland or smin
Yep, can try -- have to say though, I'm not that good at playing tall! I'm a megalomaniac :)
tall? 😴😴😴
can you make a republican aragon run mr alex
Sure can, it would need to wait a bit though as I have quite a pipeline now. Royal Aragon is more powerful though, in terms of blobbing potential (PUs!).
@@StrategySphere no worries dude, keep doing your thing, best eu4 channel imo
