@@mymatchalatte77 iphone se 2 as well! i've had it since christmas 2020 and it's working perfectly well (though i did have to get the battery replaced half a year ago). some time ago i was considering getting the iphone se 4 once it would come out but according to rumors it won't have bezels nor a home button and i don't think i'd be able to get over that :') sooo i'm not sure about it but like i said, the phone is working well and i love it so i don't think i'll have to worry about buying a new one for at least a year or two. i'm glad you feel similar about this phone :)

I’ve heard the same SE4 rumors and if there are true and if I have to change my phone next time, I’ll probably go with the SE 3!
But like you mentioned, as long as my current phone is still working fine and meeting my needs, I’ll keep using it until it completely stops working! There’s no need to upgrade your phone every year!
I don't appreciate how tech companies are getting rid of all smaller sized phones. I really don't want to carry an almost-tablet-sized phone around, it's so bulky :( The SE has its own cons and I've given a lot of thoughts before deciding to downgrade. Just like you, I love the home button and how nostalgic the bezels make the phone look. I don't need a lot from a smartphone, as long as I can call, text, and use Apple Pay, I'm pretty satisfied right there.
I totally agree with what you said about smartphone companies stopped making smaller phones and the usability of the SE!
Not everyone looks for the fanciest features and the greatest quality cameras in smartphones.
Just like you, as long as I can call, text, take descent photos/videos, and edit on my phone, I don’t need more advanced features tbh!

The SE2 is a great phone. I am on the XS myself and personally really love the rounded edges instead of the flat sides of the newer ones. It’s too bad they didn’t have the white version come with white bezels, that would have looked really nice. I used to have one of these but gave mine to my mom who needed a phone and bought my XS used. SE2/SE3 probably my favorite in apples current lineup, just looks so timeless!

I totally agree with you on the rounded edges aesthetics and the whites bezels! My favorite iPhone lineups are also the SE 2 and SE 3:)
I have iphone 4s i love the look too, i used it as a secondary phone before. But realized, its not practical because the battery life decreases easily. That's why I bought a Nokia phone because I needed a phone which can serve me in case of emergencies and not too charging dependent. Buying newer Iphone is too expensive for me thats why I use android primarily which serves a purpose and I love it's convenience and battery life. All phones have pros and cons really.
I strongly agree with you on your last point! Newer iPhones are way too expensive and I think it doesn’t really matter if you use an iPhone or an Android as long as you have the phone that truly meets your needs.
I personally am not a fan of the white bezels on iPhones 3GS through 8, so I got black models of the 5 then the 7 because that colorway was the only one that had the black bezels I prefer. That changed when I got my SE2 because all colorways had a black bezel. So I got the red one. Then I got the green 13 mini.
The SE 2 on red back must have been cool! I also like the green in 13 mini
i have the 13 mini, i really join you for the size it's really better for day to day. i don't understand for what apple stop the mini because we're a lot to use the mini and we have nothing this size if we want to take better and with this size
I totally agree! Apple should make more “mini” models for those who want the small size phone and the phones on budget.
The only thing I don't like about this device is the battery life. It is not the worst but it is definitely not the best. I unfortunately work long hours, so I need a phone to last me all day. I switched to a newer iPhone model with better battery life, but I really do miss my iPhone SE 2. This was a great video. 🥰

I totally agree with you on the battery life issue of the SE 2. It doesn’t bother me much when I use my phone lightly like only for texting, music, and watching YT a bit, but when it comes to using my phone to film and edit videos, the short battery life becomes a problem unfortunately:(

Can you please explain why you prefer the home button when getting a iPhone but not when getting an iPad
For me, I realized I don't value much of the look of iPad but I do care about it when it comes to iPhone for some reason. That's why.
I've always longed to have an iphone with a home button. I just want to heal my 2015 self yearning for the iphone 6s

I wonder how’s your battery life daily? What’s the difference in hours or minutes compare between default power mode & Low power mode
This phone still has the 88% battery health, so I only need to charge it once a day when I use it lightly. But when I use this to film and edit videos, the battery dies faster so I need to charge 2-3 times a day!
How many times did you change the battery of your iPhone?
I changed it once after two years of using this phone! I got it replaced at an unofficial store, but I haven’t experienced any issues so far.

the best for me is iphone mini versions and the se 2016, so sad they cut down the mini models and for the next se the home button

Cant find myself agreeing with the bezels, but 100% with everything else. Was hoping they would at least keep the mini line around longer and potentially get that once my SE2 goes out, but ig small phone enjoyers are in the minority.

For me it is!
But if you’re not a fan of a small screen and a relatively short battery life, you might want to consider a bigger and newer iPhone!
will apple continue the SE line?
I’ve heard that Apple will make the SE 4 next year or so, but it looks like it’s quite different from the SE 1-3, which is sad to me. Like the SE 4 won’t have the home button and it’ll be bigger in size:(
I am having an Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S21) as my main phone, I may consider having another iPhone to stop "abusing" my S21 😂. I can consider the iPhone SE 2 like you but sadly 😔, it is very rare in my country as newer iPhones are having dominance over the national digital market, especially iPhone 15 series. I just wanna experience the Apple vibes but my money doesn't allow that 💸.

The only thing about this phone is the screen is tiny and looks terrible compared to other phones. Other than that it's a great little device.
True, the screen is small but for people who don’t really care about the screen size, it’s not much of a problem (like me)!

Im thinking of getting one soon, is it worth it? Like ik i could get a new android for the price but idk i WANT the se2, obv id like to get a newer model of an iphone but iphone se2 is the only one i can afford lol, or the x. I personally love the SE 2 because of its size, affordability, and the home button, so it depends on what features you really want. If you have other Apple products, it would be nice have this iPhone to kind of create an “Apple ecosystem.”
My battery health got down to 83-ish % after two years of using, so I had my battery replaced at an unofficial electronic store. So I believe it’s 100% now and I don’t regret doing that because my battery life got so much longer (like I don’t have to charge twice a day unless I use it to film/edit videos)!
