I'm desperate to be healthy, but I think vegan is the answer. Both of my parents had dementia, so I quit my job and took care of them. Last year, they both passed away after 3 months. It was stressful. My parents passed away, and my body and heart aches a lot. I have a brain aneurysm on my head and two brain aneurysms. I even had hypothyroidism, so I suddenly gained 15kg. Anxiety disorder Panic disorder I'm still suffering from insomnia. It's been a year since my parents passed away, but I'm still in treatment, but it hasn't been long since I started again. I started TH-cam, took a walk, and went on a trip because I had the courage to share and communicate. Now I want to be healthy. I hope everyone watching this video is healthy. Please take care of your health first.
I want to be more consistent and healthier this year - I've had a love/hate relationship with cooking and always making excuses. I am an everyday athlete and want to focus more on nutrition to help fuel and help me with my fitness journey. I signed up and made the Basil pasta, garlicky lentils and the side salad. All the recipes were delicious, shopping meal prepping and cooking everything was super easy with the formatting of the pdf, this is a life changing idea. It’s like hello fresh but way better!
I love this! I signed up on January first, and LOVE it already. I have a super busy life (gone 12 hours a day) but the food prep makes it super easy to cook dinner, even when I get home at 7pm after my workout. Thank you so much for this service- well worth the money spent.
I used to spend, well, a day planning out a weeks worth of meals, agonized over the grocery list, having to navigate between books and iPad recipes to make sure I would have everything. It became a very unwanted task. I got meal plan 1, grocery list took a minute, and by Thursday it took 5 min to put the meal together. I am utterly thrilled, and the taste of the meals is amazing. I’m shocked by the ease of the mini prep, thrilled with the amazing instruction and organization of the guide AND most of all it is so clear how much more excited I am to cook and eat something I just made than yet another serving of something days old. I just signed up. I probably shouldn't admit this, but I'm not a vegan. However, I received 12lbs of Rancho Gordo beans from my sister for Christmas, so we're trying to incorporate them. Honestly I think one of the best endorsements for a vegan meal plan is when it even appeals to non-vegans. Many of us here are plant eaters in "mixed relationships" with omnivores and have found Nisha's recipes to have broad appeal. :)

Interestingly, successful chains like the Cheesecake Factory employ similar strategies for streamlining. Shared components, strategic component prep, reusing unused components are all critical to a good restaurant
My husband and I already signed up, so excited to start this-genius idea! The only thing that kept us from buying the whole year up front is the lack of macros provided. Please please please consider adding this feature/detail, even if it ups the price to have access to it, Nisha! :) I know not everyone cares but for gym rats like us, knowing the details (even just the big 4: calories, protein, fat, and carbs) of each portion would have made this perfect in every single way. I don't need the meals to be perfect and complete gym food by themselves by any means, but just being able to know what else we should fit around the meals in order to get the right numbers in most days would be incredible. Thank you thank you!! EDIT: Guys, I'm dumb, it does indeed have the nutritional info!! There's a sheet in there once you download the meal plan-mind blown! This is truly a PERFECT system for preparing plant-based, delicious recipes and we will be renewing for a whole year at the end of our three months.

I have adhd, and this has made my life sooo much better (and she includes emergency meals from the purchased ingredients for bad days). Honestly, super recommend doing a free trial and see what happens! I've done 2 full weeks and shopped for the 3rd, which is about 5 times longer than I've ever stuck with something like this

We just made the first dish - the umami mushroom and lentil stew - so good!! Having done the shopping and the component prep over the weekend with very little mental load, it was easy to put it together and it was DELICIOUS, and took the stress out of a busy day. I appreciate this so so much because my work life has gotten busier this year and it has been hard to keep up with cooking.

We were one of the folks included in the "soft launch" and we could not wait to sign up! The meal prep on Sunday was easy and made the weeknight cooking a breeze and fun. Wow! That makes sooo much more sense prepping the components instead of prepping all of the same meals which after day 2, i absolutely dont want it. I dont like leftovers. Actually im not vegan but love your recipes, nonetheless.

The only thing I can add to the other rave reviews is that this may well save me from a lifetime of last minute salads and hummus on toast. I cook for two-husband (an omnivore) and myself. Usually all my thinking goes into planning and preparing his meals. Now, someone is planning my meals-and providing a well thought out guide to prepare them. Even so, if the results weren’t delicious it wouldn’t be worth it. The results so far are spectacular. Eating may become something I look forward to again. Thank you Nisha.

this is an amazing idea, and I will definitely sign up for it, but just wondering, it says weekly meal plan, but as I read, there are actually only 3 recipes per week (+ salad)? Is that true? Because I was expecting 7 meals a week. Still, Nisha, you are the best, most eloquent and intelligent youtuber and that comes out in every one of your videos. The only thing that holds me back from this is the consistent use of tofu and oil-both of which due to health issues I can't use, regardless of how much I actually like tofu. Now, I know I can experiment and make a different type of tofu-eg lentil/bean based, not there yet thanks to this family of 6 with varied palettes and not all plant based-lol, AND I can sub the oil for eg. aquafaba etc... but not sure if in these cases it alters the end product too much?
The ingredient prep is the hard part for me and it can be hard to know which ingredients can be cut or prepped before and stay fresh. Something like a veggie stir fry is always touted as so "quick and easy" by every recipe blog and I always just end up annoyed cause the claimed "15 min" recipe turns into 20 min just to cut all of the vegetables 😒 maybe I'm just slow idk
I was trying to create something like this over the summer with shared components and it was such a stressful headache. I made 4 weeks worth of plans and then gave up. I'm sooooo excited to get started with this!
Hi Nisha, i like to think I can plan for a set of meals but neither myself or my wife are vegans, we like our meat and fish but I do want to bring a meat/fish free days element in to cooking …. Feels like I would be looking at 2 or 3 days of these meals and not full week which would leave me with the same old food waste problems and resulting cost …. Any thoughts?
I’ve done meal prepping for lunch because i don’t mind eating the same thing for lunch everyday (I’m a teacher of little people). I do like variation in my dinners though and I’m wiped out by the end of the day. Take out is too tempting.

Great ideas. I live alone. My breakfast is a smoothie. No lunch, only dinner. I try to fix dinner for 2 and hope it can freeze or stay ok in frig for a couple days. I am in a rut. Need more variety. Thanks for the mini meal prep...that is more my thinking too. Just need to do it!

Wow this seems like such an easy and delicious way of taking the stress out of cooking! I have a question though, on the website it says that the meal prep instructions are emailed on a weekly basis, meaning that it isn’t bundled together. I’m guessing that the ingredients are seasonal and the meals also based on the weather. I live in the southern hemisphere so of course the seasons are switched. Would you still say that it would be worth it?

For the last month I have been eating nothing but chips and dips and cookies and cokes and my body finally said ENOUGH and I crashed and burned. So this came at the perfect time. Hey, I'm thinking about buying your service. I hope you'll see this message How much does a meal cost, on average, in your meal plan ? Is that sustainable for a low-income family ?
I've been shopping at my co-op (so, organic produce, but bulk beans/grains), and the lower end for me has been $23 (with some stuff that was already in my pantry and some that I subbed for cheaper things), and the highest was $65 (had a good week and didn't walk around with a calculator). I already had some beans, grains, nut butter, and a lot of spices. I'm still in a stage of having to buy one or two new things each time (or getting a whole big jar of lentils instead of just the amount for this week, because I know I'll use them), and I'm expecting mime to average $45-50/week once my pantry is just slightly better stocked. I think there are grocery stores out there where this could cost $30-40, maybe less, and I could and have do[ne] it on $25 on a bad week. I'm in a major city in the Midwest

Joined meal plan program this week. Was pleased to have most ingredients already in my pantry and fridge. Chose to make three of four recipes due to cooking for one, and so far, they were yummy and filling and have met my health parameters.Looking forward to week 2!

I'm desperate to be healthy, but I think vegan is the answer. Both of my parents had dementia, so I quit my job and took care of them. Last year, they both passed away after 3 months. It was stressful. My parents passed away, and my body and heart aches a lot. I have a brain aneurysm on my head and two brain aneurysms. I even had hypothyroidism, so I suddenly gained 15kg. Anxiety disorder Panic disorder I'm still suffering from insomnia. It's been a year since my parents passed away, but I'm still in treatment, but it hasn't been long since I started again. I started TH-cam, took a walk, and went on a trip because I had the courage to share and communicate. Now I want to be healthy. I hope everyone watching this video is healthy. Please take care of your health first.
I want to be more consistent and healthier this year - I've had a love/hate relationship with cooking and always making excuses. I am an everyday athlete and want to focus more on nutrition to help fuel and help me with my fitness journey. I came across your channel this week and you have given me inspiration to start that journey! No more excuses! I'm ready to fall in love again with cooking 😊

I used to spend, well, a day planning out a weeks worth of meals, agonized over the grocery list, having to navigate between books and iPad recipes to make sure I would have everything. It became a very unwanted task. I got meal plan 1, grocery list took a minute, and by Thursday it took 5 min to put the meal together. I am utterly thrilled, and the taste of the meals is amazing. I just signed up. I probably shouldn't admit this, but I'm not a vegan. However, I received 12lbs of Rancho Gordo beans from my sister for Christmas, so we're trying to incorporate them. Honestly I think one of the best endorsements for a vegan meal plan is when it even appeals to non-vegans. Many of us here are plant eaters in "mixed relationships" with omnivores and have found Nisha's recipes to have broad appeal. :)

My husband and I already signed up, so excited to start this-genius idea! The only thing that kept us from buying the whole year up front is the lack of macros provided. Please please please consider adding this feature/detail, even if it ups the price to have access to it, Nisha! :) I know not everyone cares but for gym rats like us, knowing the details (even just the big 4: calories, protein, fat, and carbs) of each portion would have made this perfect in every single way. I don't need the meals to be perfect and complete gym food by themselves by any means, but just being able to know what else we should fit around the meals in order to get the right numbers in most days would be incredible. Thank you thank you!! EDIT: Guys, I'm dumb, it does indeed have the nutritional info!! There's a sheet in there once you download the meal plan-mind blown! This is truly a PERFECT system for preparing plant-based, delicious recipes and we will be renewing for a whole year at the end of our three months.

We just made the first dish - the umami mushroom and lentil stew - so good!! Having done the shopping and the component prep over the weekend with very little mental load, it was easy to put it together and it was DELICIOUS, and took the stress out of a busy day. I appreciate this so so much because my work life has gotten busier this year and it has been hard to keep up with cooking.

The only thing I can add to the other rave reviews is that this may well save me from a lifetime of last minute salads and hummus on toast. I cook for two-husband (an omnivore) and myself. Usually all my thinking goes into planning and preparing his meals. Now, someone is planning my meals-and providing a well thought out guide to prepare them. Even so, if the results weren’t delicious it wouldn’t be worth it. The results so far are spectacular. Eating may become something I look forward to again. Thank you Nisha.

this is an amazing idea, and I will definitely sign up for it, but just wondering, it says weekly meal plan, but as I read, there are actually only 3 recipes per week (+ salad)? Is that true? Because I was expecting 7 meals a week. Still, Nisha, you are the best, most eloquent and intelligent youtuber and that comes out in every one of your videos. Thank you for all the knowledge and ideas that you share
The only thing that holds me back from this is the consistent use of tofu and oil-both of which due to health issues I can't use, regardless of how much I actually like tofu. Now, I know I can experiment and make a different type of tofu-eg lentil/bean based, not there yet thanks to this family of 6 with varied palettes and not all plant based-lol, AND I can sub the oil for eg. aquafaba etc... but not sure if in these cases it alters the end product too much?
The ingredient prep is the hard part for me and it can be hard to know which ingredients can be cut or prepped before and stay fresh. Something like a veggie stir fry is always touted as so "quick and easy" by every recipe blog and I always just end up annoyed cause the claimed "15 min" recipe turns into 20 min just to cut all of the vegetables 😒 maybe I'm just slow idk

Hi Nisha, i like to think I can plan for a set of meals but neither myself or my wife are vegans, we like our meat and fish but I do want to bring a meat/fish free days element in to cooking …. Feels like I would be looking at 2 or 3 days of these meals and not full week which would leave me with the same old food waste problems and resulting cost …. Any thoughts?
I’ve done meal prepping for lunch because i don’t mind eating the same thing for lunch everyday (I’m a teacher of little people). I do like variation in my dinners though and I’m wiped out by the end of the day. Take out is too tempting.

Wow this seems like such an easy and delicious way of taking the stress out of cooking! I have a question though, on the website it says that the meal prep instructions are emailed on a weekly basis, meaning that it isn’t bundled together. I’m guessing that the ingredients are seasonal and the meals also based on the weather. I live in the southern hemisphere so of course the seasons are switched. Would you still say that it would be worth it?

How much does a meal cost, on average, in your meal plan ? Is that sustainable for a low-income family ?
I've been shopping at my co-op (so, organic produce, but bulk beans/grains), and the lower end for me has been $23 (with some stuff that was already in my pantry and some that I subbed for cheaper things), and the highest was $65 (had a good week and didn't walk around with a calculator). I already had some beans, grains, nut butter, and a lot of spices. I'm still in a stage of having to buy one or two new things each time (or getting a whole big jar of lentils instead of just the amount for this week, because I know I'll use them), and I'm expecting mime to average $45-50/week once my pantry is just slightly better stocked. I think there are grocery stores out there where this could cost $30-40, maybe less, and I could and have do[ne] it on $25 on a bad week. I'm in a major city in the Midwest

There is variety with every meal & they are as nutritious as they are amazingly tasty!
