I remember Tilbury Docks ,The Seaman’s Mission, The NUS Union Office and Tilbury Pool ( where we used to get our ships from) the docks used to be busy when I went away to sea the cargo boats from all over the world. I sailed out of Tilbury on P&O cargo OCL and Blue Star Line sadly all gone now along with the Palm Line Ships
