Putting a fan on the sidepanel (oldschool style) would lower GPU temps even further, I would even test since the GPU heatsink is exhausting to the sidepanel, what works better: in- or outtake for that fan but for this pc case it´s certainly be outtake if you don´t want slighty higher CPU temps. Actually the best airflow and lowest temps in this case would be two outtake fans on the sidepanel and seeting the back fan to intake, you gonna lower CPU temp by 8°C as well that way because it´s a top-blower and keep the GPU from passing 72°C even after 4, 6- 8 hours. I wonder why everyone puts front fans to intake on default even the GPU heatsink exhausts front to back, why do you put in fans FIGHTING the natural exhaust of the build designs, doesn´t make sense to me. Fans are suppose to help, not fight the airflow.
BTW: with modern cases it´s way different and I don´t get why so many youtubers don´t get their airflow mistake when using tower coolers in modern cases. When you´re using an AIO cool, when you also put in a GPU with side exhausting heatsink, but if the heatsink desing exhausts front to back? You spent extra money on top exhaust which actually wouldn´t be necessary if people would understand engineering. I´m not an engineerer but it´s not science to just look at the fin arrangement, see where the airflow is going and setup fans to supliment that instead of fighting as so many youtubers do without thinking claiming "i`m an expert I´m doing it for 10-15 years", don´t need no stamped piece of toilette paper for that. I´m configuring and building pc´s for over 20 years and back than it wasn´t anywhere as easy and simple as it is today or even 15 years ago, Core2Dou made things a lot easier with new fixed standards. With Windows 10 and Linux Mint pc´s have become pretty much idiot proof.
I have a high end gaming PC (13900k, 4090, 4TB SSD). You inspired me to build affordable machines for other people as a hobby. Once your machine is fully upgraded, when you have the build itch this is a great way to scratch that itch. Even the cheapest PC now is monstrously powerful compared to the ones when I started PC gaming back in the 90's. Bryan, that faulty GSkill 8GB stick should have lifetime warranty, something I've made use of from GSkill several times, never had a problem with their service, so submit a warranty request (assuming it is just supposed to be a single 8GB modulem, rather than one half of what was originally a 16GB pair; check the label to be sure). The good part is, if GSkill can't supply an exact replacement then they'll send you something else newer. Kingston did this when I sent in an old 256MB server kit that had a lifetime warranty, they had none available, so they sent me a modern 4GB DDR3/2000 kit. :D
Ahhh I forgot about the lifetime warranties, I will actually take advantage of that, cause I actually have a heap of g.skill ddr4 over the years that doesn't work. hmmmm Thanks brother!
That's interesting, I didn't know that. They even replace without receipts? I've never had a DIMM actually go bad of all the systems I've built but I'll keep that in mind. Thanks!
@@gottahavitvt Yes, or at least they didn't ask for a receipt the last time I used the warranty service (which was for a 2x 4GB kit of exactly the same type). Infact I have another faulty 2x 4GB kit to file at some point, not gotten round to it yet. I used to hunt for them a lot (specifically the 2133MHz kits) because 4x4GB was the max one could fit onto most P55 boards, of which I have quite a few.
@@techyescity Hope it works out ok! Check the labels on the DDR4 to see if it says lifetime. And most welcome! Remember, kit pairs need to be matched for serial numbers.
Yes, I accidentally fried a matching set of DDR3 2133 4x6 24GB RAM after installing a hard drive with ARGB software on it. Upon inadvertently opening the program, all six sticks were fried. G-Skill kindly sent me a replacement set with sequential serial numbers; I only had to cover the return shipping costs.
I had one of those and the truth is that I had to install an office from BNH Software to avoid software problems and the truth is that I can't complain.

(it was a full setup. gamdias keyboard and mouse as well as a monitor and mouse mat) first thing i thought was "i bet "the guy from tech yes city would love this deal for 100 dollar flip ep 2 or something" and then you upload a fresh flip up challenge.
I'd be looking to pay about 250 for that system without monitor, so it really depends what you got for a monitor. 4600g should be about 50, cheap b450(I'm assuming) should be about the same, DDR4 is dirt cheap, as are used low end PSUs and storage. Sounds like you got an ok deal, congrats.

New to your channel and this series but I'm very much looking forward to the season 4! 😁 Maybe I'll binge watch the earlier seasons too while waiting new episodes.
Hey man loving the videos, started watching you again after like 5 years love to see that haven’t changed one bit, still an amazing content creator, you’ve inspired me to start my own used pc parts hunts 😂 keep it up
I started this way now i build pcs from home and sell them or i have customers who request builds. Its alot of fun making budget rigs help expand the PC community.
The best way to clean a keyboard and a mouse is with 2 brushes. 1st brush not as dense, more coarse but soft, 2nd brush is more dense bristles and softer. Spray cleaner 1st brush scrub keyboard all over, then 2nd brush scrub again with no chemicals, it's basically taking away diary and debris, then wipe with cloth and you can then finally apply a kind of armor all product with the second brush and then wipe down again with clean cloth. I used to do this as a job for a tech cleaning company, but the chemicals they used were very expensive.
For those in the USA wanting a dirt-cheap deal just FYI there is a company on eBay selling really nice LGA 1150 boards for $35-$40 USD and all have warranties and are updated to the latest BIOS. I grabbed an E3 1230 V3 off Aliexpress during a sale for a whopping $8 with a $6 RGB cooler and 16GB of RAM off eBay for $10 so for $64 USD shipped I got a 4c/8t with a nice Gigabyte board, RAM and cooler, runs damn well too!
Antec missed (or didn't follow) the transition to all the fancy cases we have today but 10-15 years ago they were great, even their cheap stuff was good and reliable. Could never go wrong with Antec back then. We sold hundreds of the cheap ones in PCs we built in the store I worked at, but they also had some nicer cases for more expensive cases. I used them for a really long time until Fractal came around and started offering better cases at a reasonable price.
It'll be interesting watching the market, buying against sell this season. Looks like the selling market is tough over there. I think it will be grim here too, if it isn't already it's about to get a whole lot worse.
I am the guy who would be like, "Can I get a Mug, a Hoodie, Pic with you and DadMan, and T-shirt for my daughter also?" Screw the warranty, this pc would go on the wall as a display piece. Yes I love the flip up challenge!!
hehehe. ive been taking ur advice and starting in such a market i only want to be ultra-competitive. I get so much interest on my xeon rigs, thanks for everything. My cheapest complete build price for a 2650v4, rx 580, similar value case to the hp one here, 256 sata ssd and 1tb hdd and 16gb ddr4 was only $160usd with windows, sold that one for $230 😌
I just sold 8 barebones towers from 4440 i5 to 10400 i5. I appreciate that that guy is going to do the tech yes builds and make a buttload of money. I have a good job and not worth my time and frustration trying to meet 20 people and get low balled.. yall know how it is. I still have a dual cpu lga2011 server that i might build with a pair of 2690s... 56 threads 😏
another idea to make money is go to old ewaste places find old hardware and build windows 98/ windows xp gaming rigs. you would be surprised how many people are looking for stuff like that not just new hardware
So, my man got 10 rtx 2070s, 10 gtx 1070s both for cheap and now he got a banger of a PC for free, this is looking so promising, Shout out to the people that messaged about the GPU deals.
This is such an awesome series - love it 100% Would love to know the Yes-mans techniques for navigating around Facebook Marketplace - I have given up: It's such a fucking mess, it's impossible to categorise and do specific searches... or, more likely, I'm doing it wrong.
"We gonna go to the next deal.." Literally makes a tour and comes back to the same guy's house. Funny seeing the exact same guy running under the rain for a second time.
I'm a seller on most major marketplaces in the US, and the market is just as bad here. Nothing is selling or getting traction. Listing engagement is low, sales are even lower. I used to sell 3 PCs a week. I have sold 1 PC in the last 2 weeks.
bugdet? i hope you did some cable management on the psu cables, that looks like a birds nest the gpu, cheapest i can find it at that ptice here is 125 dollars for the 3 gb model, at the price you paid i got a gt 710
Hey Bry, now that Windows 10 has only about a year left of updates, are you going to be upgrading these old PC's to an 'unsupported' version of Windows 11 going forward?
@@techyescity I believe they will be offering three more years of Win10 support to the general public, but it will be for a subscription fee that goes up each year you subscribe. The price of that (public sub) is still undisclosed though.
🙂 yay Fix My Beater Series, the only thing I dont care for is scaling up the pc tier and instead just keep it Beater Number 1 then 2 then 3 then ETC, but thats just me I guess
Not related to this video but something i found out hope it helps. had x470 msi stuck on vga light would not post at all stripped it down replaced everything nothing. My son had the same cpu that was in my system so i asked to borrow it to see if it was mobo dead or cpu? replaced my cpu with his & it went to post so shut down & replaced it with mine & then it posted no probs. So i don't know if it jumpstarted the cpu somehow ? but totally working fine. I had tried literally everything else & that was my last ditch effort.
I rescued a gaming pc from e-waste a few weeks ago and i stripped it down and cleaned everything put it back together and it posted. it has 32GB ram Nvidia g-force 660TI old graphics card but cleaned up well and it turns out that it passed the windows 11 test so it runs real good. but i have tried to upgrade the 660ti with a 1080ti but wouldn't give a posting. Maybe the power supply is not strong enough. it is a 650w . Getting the 660ti running on windows 11pro was challenging but found the latest driver for it but it is limited to 2gb of DDR5 so it wont play HD i do not think. But i gave it to my wife and she was happy because she is not a gamer more like a social nut. So worked out good in the end. Free PC for nothing. I am in Perth WA by the way and it's good to see aussies on here
In my area if a PC will run GTA 5, COD and CS2, it is a quick sale for $300 USD, if it can run Fortnite well $375 regardless of specs, offer a decent monitor and ewaste KBB and mouse add another $50-100 if they want them.
Can I get some opinions on this flip idea please and give me some pricing guides: i7 6700k, ASUS Z170-AR, 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000Mhz, Samsung 970 EVO 500GB M.2 & 256GB SATA SSD Corsair CX500, 980Ti Founders Edition SLI, Fractal Meshify MATX & 5x RGB Fans (2 for AIO when I find one). I know the PSU Isn't powerful enough and I haven't gotten a CPU AIO Cooler yet. I did get hosed for a CoolerMaster Seidon 120V the bloke said he had the intel top bracket but he didn't so I have an AM4 AIO pretty much. Am I better off taking one of the 980Ti Founders edition out to put towards another system? As I'm thinking the costs of the upgraded power supply for the SLI and bridge. I have an AM4 AIO and a 980Ti Founders Edition to start on the next build if I decide to do that. Appreciate everyones time for having a read and replying if you do

@@techyescity great thank you, yeah it starts on ultra by default, well with the gpu’s i’ve tested recently. I try to at least test it on 1080p to see what i can get. Checking off tesselation usually doubles the fps but the environment looks like shit. I’m about to test an i7 4770, i have a quaddro m4000 on hand to see how it performs but will likely try to find a good deal on a 1060 or 1070 to move that rig
I have a PC that an i7 8700k, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, GTX 1060 6GB, 3TB of storage, a 240mm AIO cooler, a 600W PSU, and a case with 7 RGB fans. How much should I sell it for?
i can't belief you don't have DDR3 Memory onhand :) I am using GD900 to but after maybe 1,5 / 2 years de last bit just gets to thick to spread so i buy a new 30G tube ahead 😁

0:47 The Tech YES Neusedmobile
It'll be interesting watching the market, buying against sell this season. Looks like the selling market is tough over there. I think it will be grim here too, if it isn't already it's about to get a whole lot worse.
I am the guy who would be like, "Can I get a Mug, a Hoodie, Pic with you and DadMan, and T-shirt for my daughter also?" Screw the warranty, this pc would go on the wall as a display piece. Yes I love the flip up challenge!!
Bot
he's literally a channel member 😂
@@woKenVFX ik lol
@@Steve21_harris I believe you chose the wrong word. If I am a BOT, I am the most Ancient one around.
I love this series!!
Very honorable brian some tech stuff just hoses people and they don't know how to fix it and they lose out gremlins and such, so good on you
Now that's what I'm talking about. I'd buy one of those!.
hehehe. ive been taking ur advice and starting in such a market i only want to be ultra-competitive. I get so much interest on my xeon rigs, thanks for everything. My cheapest complete build price for a 2650v4, rx 580, similar value case to the hp one here, 256 sata ssd and 1tb hdd and 16gb ddr4 was only $160usd with windows, sold that one for $230 😌
Finally my favourite series on yt is back!
If only the pc had a i7 inside, would sell faster.
I love pc flip series ;)
yes i thougt you would of been able to pick an i7 for very little dollar as of the age of the cpu about 11 years
You are so wrong, i7 is expensive, while i5 is cheap for lga 1155.
@@MrEdioss 1151 socket
I just KNEW randomly being awake in the middle of the night in the US would pay off today! lol
Hey, sometimes ram sticks can get shorted. If you use eraser for contact place, that will fix your 8 gig stick easily
After the beginning of last season, I wasn't sure you'd be able to start again at 100 aud. Good find. I guess a bad market cuts both ways
need more budget build vids tech yes city style!
Yes Man, $100-RIG saga Starts again, Bring on the deals \o/
nice seeing more budget stuff
I would love to watch this new S4.
Yeah baby! Flip up is back! Insta like and good luck!
New season! Hell yeah! It's been too long.
This series is my favorite that TechYes does. The mystery of what will happen keeps it fresh every episode.
Great ! love watching these 😃
Love to see it.
YEAHHHH MORE CONTENT
another idea to make money is go to old ewaste places find old hardware and build windows 98/ windows xp gaming rigs. you would be surprised how many people are looking for stuff like that not just new hardware
oh yes finally it continues
I love this!
So, my man got 10 rtx 2070s, 10 gtx 1070s both for cheap and now he got a banger of a PC for free, this is looking so promising, Shout out to the people that messaged about the GPU deals.
Making scrap gold. Lovely
Found a i7-4770 system on marketplace last night listed for $100. Immediately made me think of this series.
This is such an awesome series - love it 100%
Would love to know the Yes-mans techniques for navigating around Facebook Marketplace - I have given up: It's such a fucking mess, it's impossible to categorise and do specific searches... or, more likely, I'm doing it wrong.
Got an Asrock H110 in a cheap lot that was exactly the same way. Bad "value select" 4GB stick. Nice bonus since I was really only after the 7700K.
That's content I love to see)
"We gonna go to the next deal.."
Literally makes a tour and comes back to the same guy's house. Funny seeing the exact same guy running under the rain for a second time.
ending with a 5090 would be nuts lol
$100 flip up challenge is back.
You could do some cable management with some Zip ties.
HERE.
WE.
GO.
You might want to snag an iPhone, atleast 6s & the photo editing option is insane, could be great investment for product photography
Love the street fighter II music lol
Thinking of doing something like this!!
Doing this side by side with ya Bryan
I just realized that you guys have a spring.
I hope that the 4070 Ti's deal come through.
i can wait to see x58 xeon build
Let's go!
I'm a seller on most major marketplaces in the US, and the market is just as bad here. Nothing is selling or getting traction. Listing engagement is low, sales are even lower. I used to sell 3 PCs a week. I have sold 1 PC in the last 2 weeks.
Can you share your tutorial on how you edit your images?
bugdet?
i hope you did some cable management on the psu cables, that looks like a birds nest
the gpu, cheapest i can find it at that ptice here is 125 dollars for the 3 gb model, at the price you paid i got a gt 710
Brian where do you pick up the GD90 from? (Also an Aussie) Also pumped the this series is back! Cheers Brother.
Hey Bry, now that Windows 10 has only about a year left of updates, are you going to be upgrading these old PC's to an 'unsupported' version of Windows 11 going forward?
I haven't even thought about that yet... Let's give it to microsoft so they just stretch the support.
@@techyescity I believe they will be offering three more years of Win10 support to the general public, but it will be for a subscription fee that goes up each year you subscribe. The price of that (public sub) is still undisclosed though.
The ants’ pants in finding deals.
LetsssssGooooo!!!
Nice job!
Just a question: Should i buy an i7 4720hq 8gb ddr3 gtx 960m 4gb laptop without a screen for 50$?
I got that mobo with an xeon e3 1230 v2 , its a bit sensitive with memory some sticks.
YEA FINALLY
With you doing Pickups for parts, how much are you spending on fuel?
Can I get some opinions on this flip idea please and give me some pricing guides:
i7 6700k, ASUS Z170-AR, 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000Mhz, Samsung 970 EVO 500GB M.2 & 256GB SATA SSD Corsair CX500, 980Ti Founders Edition SLI, Fractal Meshify MATX & 5x RGB Fans (2 for AIO when I find one).
Appreciate everyones time for having a read and replying if you do
Shoutout from Montreal! Love this series. Quick question: on what settings to you test on heaven with these older systems? Low-medium quality? With or without tesselation and anti-aliasing? Keep up the good work!
Usually default at 1600 x 900 so I can just move it around. I think its high by default.
@@techyescity great thank you, yeah it starts on ultra by default, well with the gpu’s i’ve tested recently. I try to at least test it on 1080p to see what i can get. Checking off tesselation usually doubles the fps but the environment looks like shit. I’m about to test an i7 4770, i have a quaddro m4000 on hand to see how it performs but will likely try to find a good deal on a 1060 or 1070 to move that rig
dont you have to register a trading business if you want to do commercial trading?
Looks like umbrella is not a part of $100 budget 😁😆
I have a PC that an i7 8700k, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, GTX 1060 6GB, 3TB of storage, a 240mm AIO cooler, a 600W PSU, and a case with 7 RGB fans. How much should I sell it for?
That little 1060 needed tuned, you probably did it anyway and never mentioned it.
hype hype hype
Season 4, LFG
i can't belief you don't have DDR3 Memory onhand :)
I am using GD900 to but after maybe 1,5 / 2 years de last bit just gets to thick to spread so i buy a new 30G tube ahead 😁
is Australian multi purpose spray like WD40? Does
