- In this video we will be exploring a farm with a bunch of old equipment for sale. We end up finding some cool tractors so stay tuned for a good video. If you like too see antique tractor restoration, demonstration, and how-to videos check out @ThreeGenerationsRestoration. Thanks for watching!
If you take anything apart, put some labels on the parts For a waterproof long-term label, cut the ends off an aluminum beer or soda can and spread it out flat on a piece of wood. Using a dead ball point pen, inscribe the label data you want. put a tight fold on one end, enclosing a piece of fencing wire along one side. Wire the label onto the part and go forget about it for another 40 years. The info will be there when you need it.
I'd love to trade my land in the mountains for an old farmstead like that to use the old equipment and farm the land with them again. Thanks for taking us along......
@@mathewpennington7049 your welcome!
@@ThreeGenerationsRestoration the property for sale ?
@@TeresaJohnson-ew4us no it's not for sale
I don't understand how someone can randomly abandon tractors all over their land. That's weird. You on the other hand have an awesome knowledge of tractors.
The McCormick Deerings aged well. What beasts
@@landontesar3070 I thought most of them were in decent shape for being in the woods for 20 plus years
sad to see so many classics wasting away. But I'm glad you found some to bring back to life. Keep it going.
@@user-vn7rq2uc3r hopefully we will get more of them, thanks for watching!
Wow, you are living my dream! What a tresure trove in there. I could spend hours in a place like that. Good on you for saving what you could. Tuned in from New Zealand!
So far got the W30 running. Cast oil pan is cracked on the Allis UC. Haven't touched the other tractors yet but we are getting there. Thanks for watching!
I'll take a little Alis Chalmers WITH A 3-Point!
Woooooah, Places like this are so amazing.
@@___PK__ I know, I loved going there!
@@ThreeGenerationsRestoration It should keep you folks busy a while. There's a classic tractor in every bramble!
The F20 in the connex has a Behlen overdrive box ahead of the 4 spd They need to string an electric fence around the whole place and turn about 50 head of cows in there come back in 2 weeks and you'd find 10 more tractors
At least youve got a thanksgiving dinner in the back 😂
Good show thanks for your hard work. God Bless. NW ga.
wow, i wish i was there, but glad you were. i saw a few tractors that i would have given too much to own, among them the mm. best wishes, if i could help support the cause just let it be known.
@russwabuda1556 I have a feeling were going to buy most of them. We've been busy lately. What is cool is that most of the tractors there used to be my grandpas. He sold them a long time ago.
The allis outside is a D19 theMcCormick in the shed is a WK40 Buy the whole place
Golden The dead giveaway on WD/WD45 ID is the straight gear shift vs curved
Talk about antique tractor heaven! I would love to get my hands on those old Case tractors! Glad you saved some of that old iron 👍
@@HamiltonFamily2023 Thanks! We do the best we can.
what a find.some rear tractors in there.im schook up just
looking at the vidieo.
@larrykrise3609 no doubt man, super cool to see the place
That Twin City tractor was made sometime between 1919-1926.
Yes, it's a 1921. It is stuck, and the left axle bearing is out and the bull gear case is cracked. I'd only buy it for parts.
@@ThreeGenerationsRestoration Definetly a buy though. With only a few hundred made they truly are American manufacturing history.
The one Allis Chalmers that you were looking at and couldn't find the tag on is a wd45 WCS wdwd 45 all had the serial number tags on the rear end on the back of the tractor wd's the gear shifter is straight up and down wd45 the gear shifter comes up and then bends out to the left
Oliver manifolds can be had, but it certainly could have drained into the cylinders
If nothing else you have a mountain of saleable parts there if you can identify, categorize, and warehouse them.
Yea, we were honestly thinking about that.
WC will have a round rear diff housing, that's definitely a WD of some sort
@landontesar3070 yes it's a wd, that's what the guy told us after I was done videoing
Fall project when leaves are gone, then you can see a lot better
Are here any restoration clubs in the States? In Britain, these rare tractors would have been restored, and worth a good amount of cash! ( I think your climate is kinder to abandoned machines too! ) 👍🇬🇧
@andrewwilson6085 There's not really restoration clubs per say, but alot of groups that give great info and mist times come to help if you need it!
Awesome video so sad to see these tractors in the state they are my family has a couple of Allis Chalmers tractors. Is there anyway to get in contact with the owner I just got done restoring a Allis Chalmers d-14 it would be awesome to take a tour around the place
yep 😮😮 that what happens when a place grows up worse than weeds it will be chainsaw work and another tractor 2 pull them out and the tractor parts U can't fix U replace them tractors should've parked in rows 2 start W so U could keep the grass cut around them and where U could see them and see what's what the tractor tires that aren't no good U can replace them 2 W used tires alot of parts that are still good 😊😊 7 12 2O24
Such a shame, is there any way to get in contact with The person who owns the place? I'd be up for a road trip. The MM R and the Oliver 80 are getting to be some Rare rare ones!
I would be interested in the slant dash jd let me know if it’s possible Lyle
Looks like the owner might have been the local "go to" man for old tractor bits in his day.Hopefully all this gear can find a new home and not the scrap bin.
I'm amazed that you think just because the motor is stuck it's junk
@charlesnorman7647 usually when a motor is stuck the trans is stuck. The guy wanted almost 1k for every tractor there stuck or unstuck
What model & make is that red truck at 2.56 ?
so what is going to happen to the other tractors are they going to be sold with the land or will they be just left go.
They will most likely rot into the earth unfortunately. We're going back soon to get a better look at a few other things.
Where was this place ?? the farm is huge and probably at 100 tractors
@@TeresaJohnson-ew4us Chicagoland area, he's got another place too.
@@ThreeGenerationsRestoration does it have tractors ??
@@TeresaJohnson-ew4us yes he does
@ThreeGenerationsRestoration the owner of the property the owner of all the tractors ??
If only they could talk.
And The story's they could tell
@jodybesick2175 oh I know right!
Any Hoyt Caldwell s?
@@PeterWilliamson-nn9et not sure what a hoyt call dwell is. Any info?
That looks more like some old collector died and left it all behind.
@@sagecrockett693 Both owners are still alive and kicking. I think they realized it's time to sell stuff now.
@@ThreeGenerationsRestoration Amazing how they let everything go including some machines that I still see working today like that one with the tree growing in it.
You sure that isn't a tractor graveyard ?
Looks like it, could be resurrected at some point!
What state is this in?
@@dennishayes65 illinois up by chicago
Too gar gone ?
Do you know any info on that ford at 3:59?
@doublebfarms2313 not sure, the place has 2 owners and the owner of the ford will keep it either till it rusts away or he passes on.
@ThreeGenerationsRestoration Oh ok, I was just wondering because I would be interested in it. Thanks

Entirely too depressing...couldn't watch mor'n' a few minutes of such neglect/tractor abuse.
Wow a real tractor hoarder ! I mean its cool but when you have like 45 tractors then you walk in the woods and bump into 5 more its time to stop collecting tractor abuse is a real thing
A shame for all that equipment to just rot
@@davidbarnes706 I tried my best to get some of the stuff
I’m curious if you actually had permission to get these
@@TylerSmiff-b5i lol, yes we got permission, the owner and my grandpa go way back!
Be cool if the ones you didn't take are still there for you to try get some more youtubers that might have a go at ones to beat for you to try to see what they can save even if they just save more parts tractors... and then let us know who will have the videos
Just went back to the place, people have been there buying stuff, don't think they are youtubers. I'll have another video out soon of the 20 or so I missed.
