    This was totally cool. I have been afraid to try the basswood projects because I didn't have confidence. I now may try this since I have watched this video. I may have to watch it a couple of more times but I loved this video. Thank you for encouraging us all and showing these awesome tutorials. Your the best at it always.

    Amazing craft Michael! Wouldn't it be cute to also cut a thin piece of clear acrylic to put over the finished jar to protect it, and it would look like a glass jar! Also, maybe tie a piece of jute around the neck. So many ideas from this video. Thx Michael!!!

      @@emmahope5297 Awe ok. Well let me know. I have the Air 2. And would love to try this. But not sure what setting to use. I’m just not happy with some of the settings on the Design Space they just don’t make sense.

    instead of permanent vinyl, could you use foiling on the wood for the lettering, then cut out the wood?

    hi good instructions but you did not say how many times you had to put the bass wood through the cricut before it cut through not as easy as it was made out?

    I’m currently trying to make my own wedding cake topper because no one can seem to make what im invisioning but I only have an explorer 2 and I have been so intimidated to cut wood with it and I would love to see how you can do that with the explore family

    I am new to CRICUT MAKER 3 and my only issue is that there is not anywhere that tells you or shows you the cutting utensils and which one does what. like the cutting knife, fine point, etc I know now by watching this video.

      Hey :) That's a great question! 4mm is too thick for the Cricut knife blade.

    I thought with the cricut maker you needed to used the deep point blade, not the knife blade

      It all depends how intricate shape you cut. Simple things like this jar take a few minutes to cut.
