To think there was a buildup of expectations ever since MGS2, Ocelot getting possessed by Liquid, and as it turns out, Ocelot’s father, the Sorrow, has ESP that connects him to the spirit world in MGS3, and now Ocelot in MGS4 just pulls a “Just a prank bro” on all of us in the end. But hey, atleast him, Sorrow and the Boss are a family again in death.
I'm just imagining Sorrow tormenting Gray Fox with Ocelot's own hand, while Liquid just lays there, contemplating that one of his own trusted men used his Severed hand because he had a hard on for his father
Sad... So sad... A host of sorrows... And you are one of them... I am the Sorrow... Like you, I too am filled with sadness... This world is one of sadness... Battle brings death. Death brings sorrow. The living...may not hear them. Their voices...may fall upon deaf ears. But, make no mistake... The dead... are not silent. Now you will no the sorrow of those whose lives you have ended.
the scariest boss in the franchise. i can only imagine the reactions of those who went on a killing spree the first time they played this and got punished by seeing those who died at the hands of the player.
I think it was appropriate if you ask me seeing snake was a soldier and soldiers never really knew wtf went on in their victim's heads, never really got to play MGS3 or any of their games but rest assured i'm going on a killing spree so I can experience that lake with a fok ton of ghosts just for it's theme
They're voices...Fall upon deaf ears...But beware...For the dead, are not silent... The Sorrow makes me sad at the same time as he scares me. It's true- Death is tragic, but life is miserable. He made me discover something. You may never move forward if you live in the past.
Best character In the series!! One of the best villains of all time.. I’m happy we get what we get but it would of been amazing to see more of him maybe in the past when he was younger but hey maybe that’s why he’s so great there’s not that much info or backstory on the sorrow
I don’t see the sorrow as a villain at all. His role is extremely important. This bossfight was to give Big Boss a reality check. And show him the consequences of his actions, and that no matter what side you’re on, everyone has something worth fighting for. Even the cobras.
"Death is tragic, but life is miserable."
This may sound strange, but i use this sound to relax

Deep
Simply an amazing boss. Karma comes back to haunt those players who gunned down every enemy they saw.
Literally. 💀👻💀
This is one of the most genial bosses of all time in videogame history.

His words and voice is powerful and stronger then his appearance and music
He is A real GHOST
👻: "Oooooooooh."
Shoot me
You wanna finish your mission don't you?
Don't be sad
We'll meet again someday
The spirit of the warrior, will always be with you.
I have PTSD and sometimes this shit pops up in my head when I'm having a rough time and I honestly think it makes it better

Agreed,even scarier than The Fear.
Ahh! Oh, my neck! My head's gonna fall off!!
Thank you for uploading this. The Sorrow is defiantly my favourite Cobra.
2 people are happy...

Even 10 years later, The Sorrow brings me Joy just knowing that around every corner there is Sorrow..gotta chase the Joy...👻🎭🌹
Not quite the same without "My neck....oh god my neck!" and other such cries of pain from the soldiers you've killed.
_“AAGH!- MY HEADS GONNA FALL OFF!-“_
“YOU! YOU DID THIS TO ME!!”
“YOU ATE ME!”

I can imagine if the sorrow could come back somehow in mgs6 that would have a nerve-wracking horror themed mgs 💯
he knew everything big boss was going to go through in his life, he knew his future sorrow.
sade...........so sade.
Ocelot, some time in the future: "There's no such thing as the supernatural"
The Sorrow:
“There’s no such thing as the supernatural”
- guy whose dad is a spirit medium
death stranding
the sorrow he say spirit of warrior always with you
Grandpa grandpa

*Life is miserable but death is wrong* !
cool
You don’t believe in this world! WAKE UP
very sinister
And then I walked and only saw a parrot
Grandpa, grandpa
At parts, it sounds like Avatar: The Last Airbender background music. Which is great.
