Hi Gill.....I just ordered this HDS 9 Live and my boat has no gauges. My motor is a year 2020 115/80 Mercury Jet. What do I need to connect my motor to my lowrance so i can view the RPM's and other gauge functions on the Lowrance? Thank you for any help and others please reply with any information. Thanks
You will need a NEMA 2000 network and a Mercury interface cable for your Mercury.
Hello I can not find the frequency of the Tm 260 airmar I have found all -airmar -but this one is missing How do I do it
Gill, can you tell me how you were able to video your HDS screen and not get the distortion lines? When I try to do it i get discoloration and wavy lines on the video screen.
This is most likely due to your camera's wavelength and your units being too alike hence the lines, in my case, it just happened to work.

is the Point 1 gps antenna compatible via the NMEA network? Also, does it have a 7 pin port for the skimmer xducer?

@@gillchaser449 Not sure why there is a 9 pin socket that is blue....kinda confusing. I just ordered the 7 to 9 pin adapter.
I am thinking of getting this for a new boat for Lake Ontario? Can anyone tell me exactly what I need for everything to work for all them down scan,side scan,live ect. Does everything come in the package? I may want to add serius xm weather later but only thing I dont want is radar. A fish hawk x4 wont hook up to this will it?

How do you get out of simulator when your on the water ? I am new to this fish finding stuff
Jeff just go into settings and de-select simulator mode.
How do you set the water temp on
Unfortunately, Lowrance did not put a water temp sensor on the three in one transducer, I think that is a shame also.
What is the steer icon
Charles Slinger The steer icon is for the navigation function of the unit, when connected to a Motorgiude Xi5 trolling motor or if the boat has autopilot of the main engine, you can set the autopilot to automatically navigate the vessel, it will navigate to a cursor position on you’re preloaded c-maps chart or navigate a route that you previously loaded. It will also show lat/long information heading and so forth on the screen. Thanks.
Please consider warranty and customer service when you buy because if you have trouble like with lowarnce their the worst in the business.your regret having to deal with them
