Just saw this. I really loved this video, for two reasons: 1) I own a black 2016 Scout, and I absolutely love it. 2) I live in Atlanta, about 4 miles from the Varsity which appears in your video a few times ;) I rode Hondas my whole life, and the Indian is my first non-Honda. I'm so glad I got it. I found it for a steal in April 2020. It only had 4K miles on it, and the guy wanted to get out from under the payments, so I paid it off for him and took it. One of, if not the best bikes I've ever owned. And the power is very, very deceptive. It's happy to lumber along, but the torque band is damn-near constant from about 2,500RPM all the way up, so you have instant acceleration in any gear with just a roll of the throttle. If you're considering a Scout, I highly encourage you to go ride one. You'll be impressed.
Loved this video amazing work. I'm currently deciding on my next bike. The last candidates are the Indian Scout, Indian FTR 1200 or the Ducati Diavel 1260
Hello from Iowa, USA! The Indians are made in my state, and I own a Scout. It is a bit small for an American bike, but I consider it retro-sized. It harkens back to the old American cruisers before the fat bagger market took over. My red white blue Scout still makes my pulse quicken whenever I open the garage. I found your video and the editing and production is almost as gorgeous as the bike itself.
Hey there! That's really very kind of you to say - thank you. We've always enjoyed the Scout and fully understand the pleasure you take in that bike! Enjoy.
Vance & Hines Maverick Crusher pipes change the whole bike. I just got one (2015 Scout) in November 2021. Still haven’t ridden it yet. Waiting for the snow to melt……….
We hear you...but at the same time, the stock model just is a really easy-riding, rewarding machine. The nice thing is how much you can customise them and make them your own!
I also have 2016 Scout & you are correct! Changed both-Vance & Hines 4” slash cut slip ons & RaceTech suspension. Totally changed it for the better. She was nice before, but she’s righteous now
Looking to buy my first bike. My grandfather always talked about an Indian bike and he just passed away. So I think it would be a nod to him. I am 5'7".
Hey Wayne - good to hear from you. Above 6,000rpm we found there really wasn't much more going on...and that really is in contrast to say, a BMWS1000, where from 8-13,000, your arms are being torn off. Of course, it's not a fair comparison, as they're very different bikes...the point is, though, the Indian's engine is glorious in the lower ranges, rather than screaming its way to a red line.
@@TYLERTW24 It's one of our favourite bikes, and sure, it can rev a bit more...but nothing like a top-end Japanese or European 4-cylinder - and that just doesn't matter...it's a different sort of pleasure!
Hey Ralph - thanks for watching. Yes, he did. The thing is, if you compare this to a 200kg bike, with say 160hp, which revs to 11,000rpm, the power-to-weight ratio is very different, as is the feel of the engine. The Scout is a LOT of fun - nimble and willing. It's just very different from the more frenzied feel of a lot of European and Japanese bikes.
@@BossBikesClub I couldn't agree with you more , however , I believe you are comparing the scout to bikes that are in a different league. The scout is a cruiser. Compared to a Harley and the Japanese cruisers, There aren't many that will rev that high and pull that strong.
@@ralphmazzocco5544 True! the point we were trying to make is that American V-Twins just have a very different nature from Japanese and European engines, in general - and we like it!
Boss Bikes Club yeah. I’m a couple hours from Atlanta. My mom has to do classes there pretty regularly for her job so growing up I spent a lot of time there. Love the city. Nice video brother
@@seldomseensavage3459 not at all. the brand name of this motorcycle is irrelevant. I believe it would make a great first bike for a teen age girl, but the price would have to come way down. What's wrong with that?

I love the way these motorcycles looks so awesome

you're right - it's a really lovable bike!

You're right - it's a complete blast!
philglos how about the service dear
I sold it, so never got to the service, wish I hadn't but needed the money, I would buy another
Finally - a video with decent cameras instead of those moronic helmet cams ...luvvit!
That's kind of you - we do make an effort! Check out our other videos :)
I love your reviews, good camera work, nice script.
Well that's kind of you - thanks! we love making them...
Incredibly beautiful bike!
I cannot WAIT until next summer when I buy one.
A great review of a truly attractive bike. Thumbs up for both...
Thanks for your compliments! Hope you enjoy our other episodes too...

All brilliant bikes, with very different natures. The Scout is the simplest of all, and that's its charm. Thanks fo the compliment!

@@BossBikesClub I already tried....:(
I've got a 2016 scout it's alot of fun but original pipes and suspension suck to quiet and not enough travel front and rear otherwise awesome fun

Beautiful ✨✨
Mountain Lion definitely. Beautiful and strong bike.
We're with you on that!
Brian wants know when you are going...Quote "drop that gear, open the throttle and get that front wheel off the ground "
Ah, that'd be when he joins us on his and does it at the same time!
I'll take the bike along with the super hot thick, black mama😁
Very nice ❤
It's really a special piece of history

"Caramel and Onyx" 😂😂😂😂😂
Yes, everyone has their own language! :)
6000 rpm max out 😧 Know for a fact my Scout will go well over 8500 & be no where near a max out

Its a bad ass bike. Just not a fan of those long shot pipes. Need to put a shorty 2 into one on that bad boy.
it's one of the great things about Indian - just how customisable they are - enjoy!
