      I' m 4' 8," 113lbs. Would this Bobber be a great fit for me? I used to Ride a 2003 Honda Rebel. The Honda Shadow VLX 750 and the Harley Sportsters and Harley Low Riders are a little bit Big and a little bit Heavier for me.
      This Indian Bike is an Awesome Bobber.

    So I've had my bobber since May. Stage 1,led headlight and corbin seat. Each mod has made a positive difference especially the seat. Comfy and you don't slide back. Stock seat is horrific. Sounds loud as hell and gets plenty of attention, especially from sportster riders, who just can't keep up. Cracking bike... And a keeper.

    Nice bike...
    My friend is talking me into getting a bike, would be my first one...
    We stopped by the dealer the other day and I saw this blue 2020 on the showroom floor...
    fell in love...
    So I decided to watch some videos on the bike to check out reviews...
    Crazy... this was the second video I watched... I was sitting in my truck at the Circle K across from the Wawa you filled up at... I live and work around the corner from where you started and used to work near where you ended...
    I recognized the whole trip... lol...
    nice review... thanks, it made up my mind...

    • @tiggytheimpaler5483
      @tiggytheimpaler5483 6 ปีที่แล้ว +27

      Id rather him be a bit nitpicky honestly. I'd rather hear him gonover it with a fine toothed comb than gush like a fan girl over it. You get a more honest look at potential problems that way. It's why I look at gun reviews for Glock by 1911 fan boys and vice versa. So imo it's a good thing

    100 hp in that bad boy? Wow. I had a larger Indian until last month. It was the Springfield. Traded it on a Harley and I have to say that the Harley is a hell of a lot better. bought this bike 6 months ago something to keep in mind
    -its not a great turner
    -factory is very quite
    -the foot peg wear out faster than other bikes
    -it has a built in governor at 120 mph
    -the seat is horrible, its biggest downfall
    -it runs extra hot
    all in all, 100% worth the buy

    I have had some bad luck. In boot camp I did something to "something" in my trap/shoulder/neck, I have been to the doc plenty of times and they have no clue, but when I had my GSXR 600 it would burn the hell out of that spot. When I had a Harley Sportster it wasn't much of a problem. I am hoping my next bike is the same and I have no issues with it. I am not sure what route I am going to go, I think any sport/super bike is going to give me pain issues, so a Harley or Indian is probably the route to go, I have also been looking at the Yamaha Bolt but I gotta be honest I grew up around Harley motorcycle club and have been put in that mindset, but the Bolt is nice.

    I had a fun little run in with one of these today. We cruised together for a little doing a few pulls here and there. I had to look up the specs after seeing we were fairly dead even. I was on my 2005 Katana 750 which is 92hp but 40 something tq. Pretty nice bike.

      It actually has a much lower growl to it than what it sounds like on the video. That being said, no it isn't loud, but not everyone likes ear splitting pipes. If I change mine, it won't be to make it loud.

      I sat on one today and I’m 6’3 and it felt fine. But like everyone says the best way to find out is to go sit on one yourself. And since your 6’5 I bet you’d feel more comfortable on a bigger bike.

    Do you think mini apes would help with the back pain? Maybe help sit different. I love the look of the bike but I have back pain in general so I don’t wanna make it worse.

      Yeah 6'4" is not gonna be comfortable on this. I'm 6'1.5", even with forward foot controls I was squatting. My knees were a little cramped: the seat height is too low and the elevation from my ass's height to the footpegs height... was not the height from the top of my knee to the sole of my boot. I could'nt bend forward quite enough to hold the grips. I could maybe hold a cramped squat like that under 80kg of weights.

    Can u do a review on the Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black? I narrowed my bike selection down to 3 bikes. Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black, Indian Scout, and Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer. Having a hard time deciding on which bike.

  • @_Meriwether

    The extremely short rear suspension travel is a deal breaker, unfortunately. I regularly travel 120 miles with no stops, I'd shatter my spine on the Scout Bobber.

    • @MaaZeus
      @MaaZeus 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wonder if putting a spring seat would be an improvement? Not only you give suspension a little boost (in theory) you also get more authentic bobber styling too.

    The main thing I keep hearing about these on the down side is back hurting after only a little while of riding. It must be the angle of the foot pegs and bar position allowing back strain.

    How did you NOT drag peg on that whole ride? I took a 2 hour test ride and was dragging peg all over the place. It was a blast. I love this bike and am seriously considering buying one along with a bulk box of those peg feelers. And that faux springer seat that Indian sells? So sexy.

    I’m 5”10 considering to get this one , not it to long rides , I guess I won’t have the problem of a sore lower back, but if I do , would a different handle bar fix the problem?

    6'4 220lbs here. Havent had chance to try the bobber im curious how I'd fit on it. Could I reach the handle bars without leaning forward or can I sit with straight back? My dad has the scout and it fits me perfect. I like design of the bobber but from everything im seeing and hearing the seat and rough suspension is turning me away. The scout rides smooth and has comfy seats. Nice video.

    • @DeadHeadJohnny
      @DeadHeadJohnny 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m 6’3” & 185. You’d be leaned forward a bit but that’s easily fixed with mini apes or 8” custom bars. Obviously the seat can be traded for the Indian comfort seat or an aftermarket. Same with suspension if you feel it necessary - Fox, progressive 444s are just a few examples. Also they offer extended reach foot pegs if desired.

  • @steventyler43

    I ride the little brother to that (the sixty). I’m 6’4” and that saddle seat is prime. If you buy the bobber swap the seat for the sixty saddle seat or a Corbin. Problem solved. I do love the looks of the bobber and the extra power.
