Tell you what this shit stunk up my brand new strings. On normal strings no issue but on Silk and Steel they were nasty smelling in the morning that stunk up my case. I guess it is the internal "silk" that this reacts with, or maybe the difference in the metals used. I dunno what it is but shit. Cleans very well but the stink.
You can hear and feel the difference on a guitar with strings that have lost their coating and buil up a layer of dirt and rust. If you use it on cleaner strings maybe you cannot hear the difference, but your fingers will feel it, especially when you practice sliding. This is nice for those who dont like new stings wooshing sound and prefer a little used bottom strings. When you have more than a couple of guitars, using the oil before putting them in storage for a while will prevent rust. This is and should be done to any carbon knifes and tools that are not stainless steel. I would not use it on new elixirs or coated strings as the oil might have a corrosive efect on their coating and limit to dry gently wipe with my glasses cleaning cloth (as that fabric is made as to not scrath the glasses).
Because they sound the same way. The sound did not change, for sure he felt them "softer" and smoother so he tricked his ears. The product does make the strings feel cleaner so it can trick your brain assuming it sounds better.

1:10 everybody loves that sound
Good practical review, no nonsense. Improves sound, especially when you’re at the “shall I, shan’t I? (Change strings stage!)”. Cheers
thanks for a nice feedback
He is right, string has improved after cleaned. Great!
Thanks.
I could hear a brighter sound. Does it remove the tarnish off the strings. ?
Yeah, the sound is became brighter however the tarnish stays.
Hi Edwin, in my opinion: When strings gets old on my Guitar and I use wipes to clean, it doesn’t make any different sounds to my Taylor 224ce.
Yeah, Most of the time you really need to replace strings.
He dear sir Edwin...can u make a tutorial of don't fade away by acusta rusel. Tabs
Thank you.
thanks for the request but cannot promise
No rntiendo ingles si padan en español estaría bueno por q la quitarra me si me gustan
put some on a rag to get UNDER the strings.
good idea
How long it last?
I have used this one with hundreds of guitars and still not empty.
does it shorten the strings' lifespan?
no. I think it makes it longer due to dirt protection and lubrication.
it may clean the strings,......but when the g or d strings starts to get tears in them,...it's time to change the strings,...
