I have the Arcadian Black Box and I am only a half mile from a tower, so I have great connectivity without putting it in a window. The only disappointment is that it doesn't support port forwarding. Does the new Arcadian G4AR allow port forwarding?
I just switch my dad from spectrum internet to T-Mobile today that save him at least 40 dollars an month and so far it fast we have the new router which is a good thing.
Thanks for your information about the T-Mobile internet. I am in with it for a few months, the monthly payment is affordable but I used to get trouble with it’s speed, but better than the cost I spend with Spectrum. I’ll look forward in your new information about this.
Thank you Andy! Could you guys please compare the difference between the four different routers that are available from T mobile.? And why someone would want to chose one over the others? Thanks
@@silkandvelvet who says you dont get to choose? You do cause you didnt get to choose? When i first got my tmobile internet i did CHOOSE which router i wanted and i wrote about it on this channel a year ago. My hopes are Always Very HIGH!
@@asintonic In store you probably can get ones available and choose, but online according to all the cust rep i spoke with its random and they have no power on which is shipped. Just whatever inventory they have. Makes no sense why online you cant choose though. I one that can grab signal from very far since i have terrible general reception and very far from towers. External antenna unless this one has better reception by default would help.
I work in a tmobile store. If you come in asking for one and you already have one, we can't give you the new one even if we do a warranty the device we'll give you will be the same one because of the sku
Does this allow bridge mode? Also, is the external antenna only to receive signal from the T-mobile tower or does it also make the wireless transmission stronger?
Antennas work both ways - receive & transmit. You'll need to inquire with the tech manual to answer your bridge mode question, that's not a feature we track.
Definitely a huge savings versus having to purchase say a Pepwave device to get this capability. Obviously the latter does more but this is a great elimination to the barrier of entry for most!
Good morning,I have one of the home internet 5G, my location is a bit rough 😢but the company is trying to get my service working better, my location before was very good, should we get one for business and home? Thanks
Just ordered a tmobile 5g to try out for 15 days. If it's fast enough I may cancel my Verizon internet since tmobile would be substantially cheaper but I'm sure it will be a lot slower than the 500 mbs upload speeds I get from Verizon wifi. But download speeds shouldn't be a problem cause my cell phone varies from 200 to 1000 mbs when I turn on 5G. I usually leave it on 4gLTE to preserve battery life to last 2 days.
Great improvement except for the color! Should have stuck with black, being white with a black screen is ugly, and the white plastic can get very visibly dirty.
@@MobileInternetResourceCenter I've seen some adaptions of other routers to the air 360+ and was hoping I could boost signal to the t mobile., Thank You.
Gave TMobile a try. 60Mps was the best we ever got. Service was okay for the first month then tanked. 60Mps in the AM 5Mps in the evening. Multiple disconnets during the day. Horrible service. Just switched back to our old service. Buyer beware.
lol i had know idea that this was the latest router from them t mobile lol i just got it today and i was pissed lol i said wait is this the old one cuz it doesnt look like the tower ones then found out i hit the jack pot with the latest in 2024 model and yea its wayyy better than the old ones does it come with the ext anttena or no
Had T-Mobile home Internet for several weeks now really enjoy it

Check out entry on them: www.rvmobileinternet.com/gear/t-mobile-home-internet/
You don't get to choose and they're very similar so why get your hopes up on one and then they give you a different one

They are hoarding the 4gar until all the sagecoms and arcadians are sold. Dont expect the router to be avalible anytime soon.
if you call customer care and ask for it specifically, you are able to get it now, i just requested one and it’s being shipped.

Any recommendations for an external antenna to go with this unit?

I just order a few day ago and they sent me this new one I thought something was wrong . Am I better of with this one vs the black tower
You can compare the specs of all of the gateways we are tracking at the linked page. There have been several 'black towers'.
Does it come with an external atenna

unfortunately, T-Mobile is out of stock on these 😣
Can you put it in bridge mode?
IS THERE ANYWAY TO connect the g4ar to the winegard 360+ to boost signal?
It would be pretty awkward with the Air360+ designed to mount to a ceiling mounted gateway. But with adapters, it could be done.

Any way to get a different/newer router if you're already signed up?
They seem reluctant to change out your gateway unless something is wrong with it.

Sounds like you're in a congested market where T-Mobile should not have had this plan available for.
Same here, pissed, bought the 4x4 waveform and can get 4 out of 5 bars but still slow.

1.5x playback. you're welcome
Does it include an Antenna , would be dumb if they make you pay for it.
It has internal antennas - if you want to use an external antenna you need to buy that separately.
