When I went to work for a custom glass company they did microscopic examination of glass and how the different cleaning and polishing methods worked out and steel wool was the cheapest and best , the only thing that beat it was polishing compound and no chemicals even came close ! All glass has micro scratches in them and chemicals can’t get rid of those !!
I used the 4"0" steel wool with the invisible glass cleaner as a lubricant on glass to remove hard stuck on items on my vehicles. Tested small area but it works.
@@StonerCarCare It arrived today, but unfortunately, it didn't remove the water spots.😕 Guess they were deeper than I'd originally thought. Regardless, I know it's a good product and I'll have some on hand for future details as well as for my own car, which is presently, water spot free.😀

Who taught you how to clean a windscreen??? Wiping side to side creates a film that lays horizontal and spreads oncoming headlamp glare across the screen. Up and down narrows that same beam to a vetrtical line that doesn't spread across the screen..
@@StonerCarCare unlikely, but don't give folks reason to doubt - There is an accepted formula for cleaning windows.. you didn't follow it. It probably wouldn't make a difference for your demonstration, but this is effectively a spelling error in the Title of your term paper. Despite the error not holding any effect, it still taints the rest of the document.
If this film spreads light, why wouldn't it also spread the light when the film has vertical streaks? It would just spread the light vertically which I don't see why that's supposedly to be universally preferable.
@@themikeroberts We always recommend wiping off the Glass Stripper after use and following up with Invisible Glass. This way you should have no film left to cause any streaks at all.

Glass stripper is a polishing compound.
Can glass stripper be used on the inside of the windows to remove adhesive residue from the window tint film? Will this damage the defroster lines?
Will the glass cleaner remove water stains?
We would suggest using Glass Stripper for water stains, then follow up with invisible glass and a rain repellent!

It’s actually pronounced “four ought” steel wool.
Thanks! 😊
Does the glass stripper product have abrasives in it?

Don't use steel wool it will leave micro scratches and ruin your windshield.. I did it before I seen this video and the glass is now messed up
Sorry to hear that. Which grade steel wool did you use?
So did I.... ruined car mirrors

Do you think we would of got different results if we cleaned vertically rather than horizontal?

@@sknomad5839 For this demonstration we were comparing 0000 Steel Wool vs Glass Stripper on removing a ceramic coating, not cleaning glass.
