I’ve had a sick toddler all weekend who refuses to watch anything on tv besides “tractors”. When I tell you discovering your channel saved my sanity after so much time spent trying to find REAL farming content that doesn’t have a questionable adult behind the camera… i mean it! 😂 Your videos are the perfect length, camera quality, mix of drone footage, farming footage, and you explaining the work! Glad I can play videos from your channel and feel comfortable walking away for a minute while my toddler stays and watches. Also the frequency of your uploads makes me excited because often we will find a good farming show that only has a couple episodes. Thank you again!
The Lady Bugs are one reason why your soy beans have done so well. They have been eating the aphids that have been trying to eat your crops. Nature is wonderful! Go Lady Bugs!
Kip, great content! I am so glad no one was injured. Farm work is dangerous; caught between the wagon and truck could be fatal or a life long injury that never heals completely. God is with you all, prayers for you and family..Nice you look at it as a learning experience and not critical of a mistake. Keep on mentoring the next generation, they deserve your time and patience.
Right wrong or indifferent there are three things we need to remember every day be thankful for our family the farmers who make the food available to us and the Lord for providing us with a good day
Thanks for another great video Kip. It was interesting. Sorry the super duty ford pickup got tangled up with a silage wagon. Ouch. Should be a fairly easy fix. The NK soybeans are doing well. You got a good start with the soybeans. A bigger grain cart is always good to have. Would think you could find one fairly easy. Another bag of silage filled up. That went quick. Bagger put away for the year I believe you said. Busy busy time for all of you. Lots going on with silage and combine and daily milking chores. Hang in there. About it for now I guess. Thanks for everything Kip. You all take care and be safe. Ouch to the ford pickup. Thanks. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
Ladybugs Just did a little googling. The ones with more spots that are orange are Halloween beetles. I guess they are looking for warmth right now and more people are finding them in and on their homes. Both the red lady bug and the Halloween beetles are harmless but the beetle can stain surfaces with their secretions.
🇫🇷Can you explain during one rainy/ winter day, US milk price structure / variations ? Roughly the same in every state ? Did it increased to cover all your costs …? Thanks
These ladybugs are an invasive species in North America, but also in Europe. They came from Japan and China and were brought to other countries as biological pest control in glasshouses. Of course they didn't stay in glass houses. The problem is that they crowd out the native species.

Yes, ladybugs eat aphids, where there’s a lot of aphids there is a lot of ladybugs:) Seen them thick in gardens.

The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
1000 bushel carts are the way to go. We had an 850 for years that was great but the 1000 was awesome. It's a semi load every time you come dump.
Good show
Great awesome video. Ladybugs bad here too in eastern Ontario Canada too ,
❤ lady bugs are a great value to plants, like polinater Bee ak honey bee
Glad to hear about the "Ford" super duty
What a pleasant surprise on a Sunday afternoon. Your videos are excellent.
New to your podcast. Dairy alone is a full time job and you guys do small grain too!
The body condition of your cows look great
Thanks Kip for your awesome videos, this old man just loves them.

Glad you enjoyed
🇫🇷 Great us farming Kip … interest to also grow soyabean vs corn ? Great video as always god bless
They claim ladybugs are a sign of prosperity. Must be why there’s a new super duty
I would have thought 65 to70
up there in the thumb. Good ground up there.
Let's Go!! 🙏🏻🇺🇸
Tell me you have a killer garden! Was one of my jobs on the farm to take care of the garden. We had a nice garden for a lot of years.
Another good video! God Bless! Should have stuck with the White and left the new Superduty at home :)
Let's Go....
Got the first dent out of the way. Now u can use it
Omg, no shit. The ladybugs are crazy this year,
I don't know anybody in my area that even uses Silos for silo storage in my area of Illinois. A lot of the farmers use Silage bags.
When you do get another cart. Try and get one with tracks to reduce compaction and cutting tracks into the field.
You're always gonna ding a new vehicle. Now you needn't dread it and can relax and enjoy it.
Ladybugs

Where do you spread manure in winter when ground is frozen? Not aloud here in NW Ohio.
We have a bug that looks like a lady bug but is a little bigger. They eat plants and also bite.
500 acres of soybeans! How many acres do you guys farm
It's a farm truck now. Same thing happened to me.
Those are Asian Lady beetles that lived in the Soybean field eating Soybean Aphids.
No point in getting bent about broken stuff as long as no one is injured always people first equipment can be repaired.

How often do you clean out the feed bunks?
That means their doing their job eating all the none beneficial bugs that pray on your beans.never complain about too❤ many ladybugs.
Do you have limestone available in your area.
lady bugs are beneficial.... either there's plenty for them to eat or someone released them to take care of their problems.....
Ouch should of used the old army truck
About $350 for one of those tail lights
Hey kip noticed one of the cows has an abscess on her left jaw.

Is that your dad's truck ????
I'll bet he didn't take it as good as you did. SHIT HAPPENS !!!
Corn silage for a bag looks too dry
52 bushel to the acre that is not very good beans are they
Lady bugs are a predator insect that loves to eat soybean aphids. They are annoying but a good thing overall.
Just hope they are lady bugs and NOT Asia beetles!
Poor truck
Those look like Asian beetles. Not something you want to welcome into ur House.
They look like Japanese beetles or Asian lady bugs. If it had a white “M” behind its head, that’s what they are and are considered a nuisance.
Kip, lady bugs bad for late stage beans...stink bugs too...crop consultant should have caught that...
I think they are Japanese beetles there, an invasive species They look just like ladybugs😊
It's a farm truck new or old its a farm truck
I liked you channel until you put that religious crap into it.
God bless you
Have you had three meals today if if so thank a farmer and thank the Lord
@@BradErwin-ny9nd I was a farmer I am retired don't talk to me about that religion did work then
