Have 2 of them. (Opened them up to remove the beep.) Main point of concern is the difference in quality of measurement. I use it for 18650 cells. The outer banks (1 and 4) measurement is always a 5% off in comparisment with the inner banks (2 and 3). (There is also a hardware difference) My other tester (SKYRC MC3000) is more accurate and shows more detail. It also can do more but is also more expensive.
Thanks for the detailed review. I have a LK Lii 600. I was initially impressed with this charger, but I found a major issue with it after some use. When used to discharge fully charged AA NiMh 2500mAh batteries, I noted that channel 2 shows the highest discharge capacity and channel 3 shows the lowest discharge capacity for all four channels. Also, the highest reported discharge capacity is higher than the rated capacity. Testing was done at 500mA current with 1-hour rest between consecutive charge and discharge. Tests were done four times using 12 batteries to ensure repeatability and reproducibility. So, I am disappointed with this charger when it comes to measuring NiMH battery capacities accurately. The typical charging function is fine, but that is not what this charger stood out for.
To keep the backlight on press and hold the 1 button. That should be in the manual. Also as per the manual pressing and holding any of the channel numbers does the same thing.
for me it shows lower capacity in the test mode than capacity actually is, not the single slot(as many people state) but i think all... Slow charger m4s shows with new batteries their datasheet capacities....
Pretty slick, I did not know such functionality was available. Yeah, I'm not a fan of the beeps, but I think I could cope. Have you restarted the grow operation? Wishing you well, kind sir. Big smash.
I just restarted my grow this week, it sucked not having it going, I'm going to try and incorporate some carnivores just as a preventive measure, I'll let you know if that works well.

That's really good to know, thanks for sharing your findings with the viewers here.

That's great to know this, now I'm curious to test my charger to see how accurate it is right across the board. Thanks for passing on the info.
@@HouseDadLifehow the result?
@@HouseDadLife Sure. I am curious to know your observations. Please share.
I'll put it on my list, a bit busy with some more spring garden hydronics setup, I'll share after that's complete since they need to get going.
I haven't forgot about you, video will be up this Friday sharing my results in testing.

Thanks for sharing John, I'll admit I tend to skim over manuals.
actually its possible tap and hold any number button to always on/off display

I typically find the same unless the cell is brand new.
Thanks H.D.L. Cool stuff.
I might have a battery obsession in noticing... have a good weekend Ron!
