Lii-600 the internal resistance its wrong . I have found a technical problem. When measuring the internal resistance of the batteries it shows the maximum 116 mΩ. So measuring the internal resistance with another instrument shows a larger number, for example 150 mΩ. So there is a technical problem and it counts wrong.
I have read in other videos that it has that problem, that it does not measure the resistance well and that in the 500 that did not happen, also that the touch can fail as it happened to the 500s the truth makes me sad because I thought that the 600 would be better, it will be time to wait for a 600s to see if they solve those problems
Almost every charger is like this. In the Opus you have to deduct 30 milliohms for the resistance of the sliders which AFAIK is the only company that was nice enough to do the measurement for you and include the figure in the manual. So far I think Xtar chargers (minus the VP4 Plus) have the best ballpark DC IR. The number gets MUCH more reliable if you put the cell in the slot and immediately push the negative contact up towards the positive contact. I get readings with a 1 or 2 milliohm difference by doing it that way. The VP4 Plus has four wire probes so the accuracy is almost as good as a YR-1035+ or the likes.

Helpful video- thanks. One correction: the term for charging current is milliamps, not milliamp-hours. So the Lii500 has charging current of 1000 milliamps. It can do that forever, so it's milliamp-hour capacity is infinite. A 2000 mah battery can deliver 500ma for 4 hours, or 1000ma for 2 hours, etc. Mah is a capacity term - it's current, in milliamps, times the time that current can be delivered.

I believe the Lii-600 is OEM'd by "XSL", you can see the logo in in the casing if you look at the holes in the vents!... The test mode on the Lii-600 doesn't appear to be nearly as good... I also don't like the inability to keep the backlight on, or the fact that the labels in the display don't line up with the buttons so it's not very clear which cell is selected.

You might try using wire "clip" leads(note1) with nickel-plated neodymium magnets to connect to the unit's contacts the cell(s) that don't fit into the slots. I suggest Keep currents below 1000mA to reduce high current point contact which could damage the nickel-plating. Remember, however, that not using the slots keeps the cells from being monitored by the temp sensors. *Regardless of connections used, never charge/discharge cells without supervision* (note1) Use high quality leads. Many of the cheaper leads sold online do NOT solder the wire to the clip and are often barely electrically connected to the clip. I've even found leads that were electrically connected to the clip by only TWO STRANDS of the copper wire and held in place ONLY by a crimp. All remaining strands were shielded from the metal clip by insulation. You can usually inspect this connection point by temporarily pulling down the plastic shroud that surrounds the clip, then push it back into position when through inspecting. When they need "repair" in addition to crimping I also solder the wires to the clips.
I noted the Lii600 has a percent indication of the total charge capacity, an estimation of the internal resistance , besides the estimation of the temperature of the cell. The best chice at the time.

I know that sounds sarcastic but I'm not trying to be sarcastic. 500 was $30 from a nearby seller (2 days to ship) while a 600 from such a seller would have cost me about $50. My guess is that sellers are wanting to clear out their older stock of 500's so they are making the price lower. Liito Kala does not use a fan like Opus...which is kinda concerning now that they are up to 750ma discharge current. Would explain why they choose to include the temp sensors 🤣

in the Opus 60 is the limit. Cells should never really go over 60 anyways. That's often the high temp cutoff for cells that have a discharge rating based on temp.
I don't get this: With the 600 in charge mode it says 51% Then you switch to discharge mode and it says 80% So what does this percentage reading display? If it's capacity something's wrong because it should be the same for both modes.
Honestly I have no clue, I assume it has something to do with the discharge drain not be calculated correctly when measuring the voltage. I have not had any issues with it yet however.
Hi a little confused when you say a maximum of 1000 Mah hours when the batteries you can place in may be a 21700 with 4500mah, I obviously not understand could you please tell me what you mean please
If the video is not promotional why do not you indicate that the new versions do not support nor test, So there is really nothing to do with the new product other than a usual charge

I noted the Lii600 has a percent indication of the total charge capacity, an estimation of the internal resistance , besides the estimation of the temperature of the cell. The best chice at the time.
Li 500 already has the estimated internal resistance. I own one.
Boss, For A Lii-600, If We Set Auto Charging Current, The Current Will Keep Charging Or The Current Will Stay Same From The Start Untill The Battery Is Full?
Auto charge will fluctuate a bit depending on Tempature and some other stuff. Manual should be constantly the same.
At least if I remember correctly
Well done. Amazing Review!
Appreciate it :)
I have some AAA rechargeable batteries that dont get detected by the lii-500 model. Any idea why ? They are alkaline
Alkaline are not rechargeable. They are a desposible type of battery. .

Good Morning. Do the 21700 batteries fit comfortably into the Lii 600?
Excellent review my dear friend, worthy of subscription. There is another Liitokala model called Lii - S6, having six slots. Could you do a review on it as well?. What are the similarities or differences in features and functions of it with those of Lii- 500, Lii 500s and Lii- 600?
Your video was very helpful.
Would it not be best to first state what are the important functions to have in a charger/analyzer?
Thanks! this is what I'm looking for
glad to help.
Wich one is better. The 500 or 500s? Because I read about touchcreen issues. Thanks already. And can they do AAA and AA?
I recommend the 500 over the 500s for general use (more durable) but a major down side compared to the 500s is it lacks a discharge mode.
On the other hand, the 500s died on me after less than a month of use (touch screen went out).
@@Orvis25 haha yeah that is lame man and less quick with charging. But durabilty over functions and power I guess man
@@Orvis25 but it works on AAA and AA batteries also?
@@punisher288 Been trying to get a replacement, but Liitokala email support has never replied in a week, and the Chinese seller is of corse worthless in terms of customer service. So, buy the touch screen model at your own risk i guess.
@@Orvis25 yes true . The 500 is more well done . Nice video . I want to upgrade but I think no worth .
Does this charge and balance the batteries as well?
perfect review ty
Glad to help
Have you tried using the 600 for 32650 lifepo4 batteries?
Don't think this supports 3.2V or 3.3V nominal cells
Hey buddy thanks for the review so i have 500s so i cant decide should i buy 600 what do you think? What should i do?
If you own a 500s, I dont think buying a lii-600 is worth it, unless you want to sort your batteries by an internal resistance estimate.
@@Orvis25 i think the only differences are The temperature control and 3amp charge right?
@@muratkuter if you watch the video, the main differance between the 500s and 600 are higher charge rate, IR estimate, battery recovery mode, and temperature sensor.
@@Orvis25 I watched your video to times but I couldn’t get the exact differences between them
@@muratkuter I just explained it, and, you can also check the description :)
i spent ALOT of time writing up the different specs.
não percebi se o 500s possui medidor de resistência interna? o 500 tem, o 500s seria pior? grato...
Buy the 500 over the 500s if you need a resistance meter estimate, If you dont care, but the 600. IMO, the 600 is worth the money over the 500s.
Battery 2 went from 57% to 74% in just 15 seconds? Am I missing something?
How reliable is the battery resistance that the chargers shows?
not very. Id say its a good "estimation" with +/- 20% accuracy.
@@Orvis25 20% that's bad, a shame, if they would get it right they would have even a real selling point.
Can you switch the temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit ?
I don't recall, and i don't have it with me anymore. Sorry friend.
If you have a power brick that "plugs into the wall" all you have to do to convert it to a "laptop" style power supply is to buy an extension cord for $1.29 US. 18 gauge 2-prong cord will do the trick.
you could, but id rather manufactures just use common sense and stop irritating customers with archaic design choices that take up to much outlet space. :P
@@Orvis25 I agree. It would be nice if I didn't have to spend an extra $1.29 US on a 2 meter extension cord. Also looking at the Lii-600, it looks a lot better, overall, than either the 500 or the 500S. I'm having "buyers remorse for making an impulse buy of a 500 when for less than twice as much I could have gotten a 600. I do like the black LCD letters with the simple white back light better that the orange LCDs that are in the later models. Same goes for the push buttons rather than touch-screen buttons.
@@soilmanted Nah i didnt take your comment as sarcastically attacking me or nothing. Your good.
Can it discharge at 1A? The previous ones could not.. that's why I am running the OPUSes instead.. as they can discharge 4 batteries at 1A.
750mah max discharge (per slot).
I put it in the description man, read them.
Spent like an hour re-typing and translating the spec data for a reason.
@@Orvis25
In the specs from the description, what does the ‘*’ indicate in the charging specs? I have the Lii-600 and can’t find anything in the manual to tell me what that ‘*’ means.
Is 3000mA available on all 4 slots? Can’t find that info in the manual either, but I might have missed it.
@@speedlever the charge/discharge per slot. *4 means on all 4 slots.
@@Orvis25
So the Lii-600 supports 4x3A = 12A charging?
For some reason I had it in my mind that only the outside channels (1&4) supported 3A charging. But I can’t find it in the manual. I may have it confused with other chargers I’ve viewed on YT. 🤷
@@speedlever Supposedly if I translated it correctly. I never charge my cells faster than 1A though anyway to get longer life spans out of them.
Very good, could you please kindly review liitokala lii4m with other models
At test mode, the 18650 battery reached 7,700mAh. Does anyone's know why?
But the battery temperature 37c.
The 600 has a brick the other @ 4:56 is generally referred to as a wall wart.
Ha, I like that :P
Good video
Thanks
Looks similar to the vapcell s4+ minus the touch buttons. that is why i have doubts on buying these chargers because they are just made by oem factories of some kind. And I am not a fan of big bulky power bricks as they can take spaces on my table.
Hi. This charger has annoying noises?
None of them have made any noises for me. All are silent.
Liito Kala does not use a fan like Opus...which is kinda concerning now that they are up to 750ma discharge current. Would explain why they choose to include the temp sensors 🤣
liitokala lii 600 vs lii m4s ?
Does it take 21700?
Feel free to watch the video and pause at the close up of all the cells supported.
Hope it helps :)
Hi friend... Do you know the maximum limit of temperature sensor of LiitoKala Li-600 to STOP and avoid explosion???
I have one battery with 61° C at this momment in test mode, it is VERY HOT and I need to sleep, but dont want to stop the test. Kkkkk
Sorry, I'm not sure of the limit and I currently don't have it anymore. Maybe the manual that came with yours says.
@@Orvis25 you do not have the 600 any more? What happened/where did it go?
in the Opus 60 is the limit. Cells should never really go over 60 anyways. That's often the high temp cutoff for cells that have a discharge rating based on temp.
Lii-600 is widely known to fake-report the internal resistance of batteries. Here showing 116 mOhm which is absurd.
Can the 500 take a 21700?
Yup. But the max charging current is 1A. So, a 5000mAh battery will take upto 5 hours to charge.
I don't get this:
With the 600 in charge mode it says 51%
Then you switch to discharge mode and it says 80%
So what does this percentage reading display?
If it's capacity something's wrong because it should be the same for both modes.
Honestly I have no clue, I assume it has something to do with the discharge drain not be calculated correctly when measuring the voltage.
I have not had any issues with it yet however.
I like the easily readable yellow text on them. I don't care for having a power brick connected to one though. Thats ridiculous.
for aa batteries you may need to charge current of 200 to 400, 500 is could be high , so I dont recommend this if you are charging aa, aaa batteries.
Good advice!
Yes it depends on the battery, but i generally don't go above 500,
Lii 600 have one minus ... we cant see all batteries in one time
Hi a little confused when you say a maximum of 1000 Mah hours when the batteries you can place in may be a 21700 with 4500mah,
I obviously not understand could you please tell me what you mean please
im not sure what part you are specifically talking about, but i probable meant that the maximum charging speed in that mode (or whatever) was 1000ah
I got my it worked ok then after a few changes it was powering down!!! Maybe I got a defective one !!!!
sorry to hear :(
Which is better, Lii-M4 or Lii-500?
have not owned an M4 so i could not tell you.
looks like a "Qualiy" product for sure lol
On the back of my Lii-500 it says "apply only in the inner region." Glob bless google translate.
Ffs... Bought the 500s yesterday
Well, as long as it does not break, its still somewhat an improvement over the Lii-500.
@@Orvis25 i hopr you just had bad luck your touchpanel
If the video is not promotional why do not you indicate that the new versions do not support nor test, So there is really nothing to do with the new product other than a usual charge
I do not know what you mean, because the lii-600 DOES support NOR testing, it's just called "test" now. I even showed it on camera.
From what I understood from the company at Ali Express they warned me that this is not the same test
@@shahar.shemer then they miss advised you because it is still charges -> discharges -> recharges each cell to take a capacity test.
It suck! The battery will leak after charging and the unit will complete damage when the leakage enter inside, don't buy this sucker charger
If I understood correectly they just add temp sensor and increase price in 2 times.
They also drastically increased charge rate on each channel.
In my experience so far, the lii-600 is only $10 more than the lii-500 also, so not 2x.

@@Orvis25 unfortunately, no, awful device. You can open this review and scroll down to comment section and use translator th-cam.com/video/pLYp2XZnYg8/w-d-xo.html

@@m1nusasusplus897 to be fair, I expected the temperature sensor to be inaccurate, since its offset at the positive end of the cell (vs center).
If your comment on no heat shutoff protection is true, I am surprised it did not stop the charging process, but I cant verify. Imo, dont leave lithium charging/discharging unsupervised anyway, and check periodically.
The IR is much more accurate at ball parking than the old 500 (but still not perfect).
