I've been riding that loop for 30+ years from Lowther park, never get sick of it. 1st done on an Raleigh maverick, Muddy fox road runner, Saracen Trekker, Orange Alu O, Proflex 857, Spesh enduro, Litespeed Obed, Rocky mountain vertex and now a YT izzo. It's a superb short loop with some nice fast single track. Great late evening in the summer or early morning before the crowds. Really missing it right now 😭😭😭😭

Thanks for subscribing and getting the book, that's great. I only use Strava intermittantly so isn't worth following at the moment. I might rethink how I use it in the future though.
I’ve seen there’s a lot of rides on here not showing in your book, guessing the book was written well before then. I suppose if you put everything on Strava, the books may not sell! 🤔

I used to have an Orange O2 about 20 years ago. Great bike.
Recently walked the Askham loop, definitely one I want to go back to but with a bike next time 👍
It's a lovely area for biking or walking. I walked on the fells above there last summer. It was great

Yeah its a pain. Have to cut out lots of footage ruined by water/mud covering the lens. Oh well, consequence of living in northern England.

Thanks Simon. I just use a GoPro Hero 7 Black. No additional mics but you need some sort of dead cat to cut out the wind noise
