@@Lakedistrictrider I gave you the choice. You said clockwise. Your fault!! 😂😂 Still really enjoyed it. Good excuse to do it the other way another time.
Great video mate. Id like to have a crack at that but I have never seen it in any guides (Including yours, I have the Kindle version. Love it.) Did you descend the upper or lower path beside Burnmoor?
Thanks mate, and thanks for getting the book - glad you like it. We used the bridleway from Wasdale Head to Boot, which skirts the eastern side of Burnmoor Tarn. Choose a prolonged spell of dry weather as apparently it can get pretty boggy around there in wetter months.
@@Lakedistrictrider your welcome, bloody good value for anyone, really got me started with riding the lakes instead of hiking it. Received and understood ref the bog, I recall the northern end being grim when we hiked it years ago.
Great trip again and thanks for sharing. MTBing in the lakes myself, there's enough to do there for years ! Can I ask what resolution, frame rate and mode you're using on the GoPro?
Another stunning ride Mate. 👍
Cheers Mark. It was a nice day out
Doh... just realised you're the author of the excellent guidebook I've been using for some time now !
Haha, thanks mate. Glad you like the book 👍
I've got that book too! 👍
Cheers mate, thanks for getting it 👍
Brilliant ride, Ian. Some proper hardcore McTrail Rider type stuff in there!
Cheers mate. Steep and rocky in places
If I rode my bike over those paths at that speed it would break up. You have a very strong cycle there.
Modern mountain bikes are very impressive
Great ride some gnarly sections in that one cracking day for it to that 30 minutes flew over 👍
Cheers mate 👍
Another awesome vid Ian, seriously techy, nice riding! 👍🤘 x x

No worries, I think it is on 4k 30fps and protune settings
Thinking of doing a similar thing for Kazakhstan... what camera do you use? Thanks.
