It's a beautiful country that's for sure. I've only been to Rome and atuscany so far but hoping to go back again sometime. Glad to hear things are going well @@officialwhovy
Another cracking Video. We're up in the moors and Dales of Yorkshire later this year near Masham so might have to look at this one. Did you say there was a Komoot link?
Welcome back sir happy new year 🥳 Thanks for the great video looked good . I had a very hilly forest of bowland ride this week from rigg lane over cross gill , roeburndale, wray , helks brow, lythe fell lane , cross of greet , skiathe , slaidburn, dunsop bridge, the trough then jubilee tower then end back at rigg lane , was 4hours 40 miles with 6000 ft climbing ! I was shattered but enjoyed it
@@Lakedistrictrider cheers bud yeah it was on the road bike , it was the limit and wouldn’t do it again 😂 very tricky going down steep roeburndale through the gates when it was slippy & thick fog
@@Lakedistrictrider now I’ve watched the whole video I can relate as three miles before the end my left crank just fell off !! Going up towards jubilee so had to walk two miles to top then like u I just free rolled down towards the car nearby however going down the steep part of that road was dangerous with only one peddle and hanging on !
welcome back. sandwich of the day not up to your usual standard 🤣🤣🤣. bummer about the rear mech, lucky to be fairly close to the car when it happened...
Ha, yeah the sandwich was a case of using the last of the bread. Monster Munch certainly elevated it though ha. Yeah I've killed several rear mechs over the years. Always a pain in the bum
It's always a pleasure to follow your adventures with your bike ;)
Hey Whovy, good to hear from you. How's life in Milan?
@@Lakedistrictrider Great mate! I started to extend my visiting permiter to beautiful cities like Verona or Venice. La Dolce Vita is really a thing 😃

Cheers mate. That's a big one. I did that on a road bike once. When I was much fitter!

@@252Scooby I used to prefer Cross O Greet going in the other direction. Tough climbing out of Slaidburn though

@@ashdowker4326 Thanks mate. Life seems to be getting busier
If you're ever down in Devon, you should try Dartmoor. It's beautiful going up to the reservoir. Lots of uphill, mind.
I don't get down south very often but I've driven through part of Dartmoor once and it looked lovely. I'd certainly like to explore it more
