Askham And Loadpot Hill - Over The Hill Mountain Biking

This route around Askham and Loadpot Hill isn't easy. It isn't technical but it does have a long grinding climb. However, what goes up must come down, and it does have a fun long grassy descent as a reward for all the hard work. I added a small loop at the end that starts again from Askham, so can be ridden or left out if you're feeling pooped! The other attraction of this ride are the views across to Blencathra and down to Helvellyn, across to the Pennines and even the distant Solway Firth and Scotland.
