If you think Stalker 2 is buggy and broken, try unpatched SoC on period hardware. It would blue-screen brand new PC's lol. The X-Ray engine was the real anomaly!
i played updated SoC in 2020 and it was still buggy, but at least it was funny bugs and not game breaking bugs so it just feels like part of the charm.
Given the developers actually doing something for this game, like giving a whole 110 gb "update" like my guess is they dont want to get the game delayed so they release like 85-90% completed game while not doing a lot of bug testing so the 1.0 release is a buggy mess but 1 month later and we have the actual completed game, props to GSC for actually delivering unlike certain polish games where they need years to create a coherent game
Their actions after release are strongly hinting that the publishers forced them to release for the Christmas market, let's be fair to the Devs here. The fact the patches were available so soon shown they knew it wasn't ready but they wanted to make right
FG uses More VRAM. I run a blocked 6950xt at 1440 and native It uses 10-12+ gigs of VRAM. FG will use 11-14 so I'm going to guess you have a 12-gig card. What rez you running at?
@@praiseaidan So it is the 8 g version. I believe the non ti has 12 g right? Stupid but that's Nvidia. But yeah, I just got off playing STALKER 2 and it uses quite a bit of vram for me. I know I run 1440 Ultra but 1080 min probably cut close to 8 g. How much vram at min/ 1080 does STALKER 2 require? But yeah, like with these new titles 12g is the new for 1080 and 16g for 1440. I know a lot of people had problems with STALKER 2 but I have ran this game since release and I never had a in game crash yet. Hardware limitations are a mf lol. Anyway, was just wondering. The games only going to get better for real, DLC's and quality will get better. It's not like most studios that devs that make multiple games and leave others behind, kwm this is all they have to work on so have faith. I am only where I am going to Strider's camp after installing that thing in the tower where you kill Foma or let him go. But a lot of the map is not utilized from what I can tell. Do you ever go more West or are you just supposed to wonder over that way? Anyway. Take it is broski. Drew from BeanieBro's.
@@BeanieBrosPC god the game is so good when it works, and yeah the story takes you west right after where you are. the performance problems didn't bother me too much unless it made it unplayable but what did unfortunately happen was the tornado anomaly in yaniv glitched and no matter where i was on the map it would fling me and kill me and then crash my game lol. so it took me like a month later after 4 patches to fix that problem so i could finish the story. If you're having no problems tho this game will be awesome for you it's got a sick ass open world
@@praiseaidan Yeah honestly, I love the shooting mechanics. Like the M700 (the bolt action rifle) when you pull the trigger its loud, BANG like you feel the guns in the game kwm. But yeah, it's such a unique game it feels different from any other titles. So, are you the one who made the video? Was just wondering. I really want to start making content consistently. But I am not really sure about what software to use, how to take the content I record and put it together into a complete video. But if you are the one who made the vid and you have time, I would appreciate some tips or anything that could help me with it. Peace. Drew.
Couldn’t have delayed this game long enough to actually turn out to be a spiritual successor, it’s like they built the game off the bones of another game or something then forget that the game is supposed to be a stalker game. hey spoiler alert y’all! this game was most certainly not developed for 11 years this was not built off the original concept of stalker 2 in 2012 or whatever doubt they even started developing the actual gameplay loop until late 2023, this game was purely made just so the devs could mess around with action choreography in mocap and make money off of it 😂
This game isn't a cash grab and it couldn't have been delayed any longer. If it was a cash grab, there wouldn't be so many updates, and neither would there be so much content in the game in the form of side quests and lore. Yes, it's lackluster, but it was developed in a currently war-torn country. If they hadn't released it in it's current state, Microsoft would have made them cancel it (allegedly).
that shitty excuse crist THE OFICE OF CSG IS IN PRAGUE stop defending dogshit game desing and dont pull out the developer that died he was part of the old studio before they closed down the game is garbage stalker anomaly has more content than than dookie stalker 2
it wasn't even lackluster (at least to me) it's probably my GOTY. I just didn't want the game to kinda dig itself into the dirt because first impressions matter ALOT and if you release broken it's hard to dig yourself out of it. I think they've done the best possible job they can given the situation tho
5700x and 6800/16gb and 32ram: 80fps in "cities" and 100+ outside, 4k med/high settings fsr+FG. It's your fault you use low ram nshitia card. And yea, Alife is nonexistent here. I also hate weapon balancing (lazy copy paste form old games) and inflating mutants' HP, member how double barrels were great in stalker games? Pepperidge farm remembers.
Yeah I should probably switch to AMD since I just end up using FSR anyways because it boosts my fps and doesn’t look like total shit like dlss but my game ran like 70 before patches and 100 after they dropped like 4 patches so I’m assuming they did their magic and made it not suck so bad

GAMMA, the 500+ modpack for Anomaly (which is already a mod) is more stable than vanilla SoC 😂

There's a bug fix for that, you don't need the compiling shades screen anymore if you've had played it once

@praiseaidan they made it better for sure. Please note I'm playing launch build because I love money glitch.
I got sober and all of a sudden this game is boring as hell lol
