I really love all the features of the K2 Plus, especially this one upgraded printing bed . It definitely gives ya a lot more room to work with, and I am just so into that. but when it comes to power recovery feature, just seems like you needa update the firmware or manually enable it? I’m wondering if the recently released FLsun S1 Pro might handle this much better. have ya looked into it? I needa weigh my options before the deal ends tomorrow and decide which one to grab!
I am the wrong guy to ask about any other brand - i have never used a printer that does not have Creality stamped on the front haha. Do you have big issues with power loss in your area? I have never had a print fail due to power loss. If you do need to manually enable it on the K2 Plus, this would be an easy menu item that is set and then forgotten - not something you need to do more than once.
switching to a magnetic tool head cover on the k2 plus is an interesting move. while it certainly makes maintenance and upgrades easier, there are potential drawbacks to consider. for example, will the magnetic cover stay in place during long print runs, especially when dealing with vibrations from high-speed printing? it's a thoughtful upgrade, theoretically, but i’m eager to see how it performs in real-world use. on that note, some delta printers emphasize simplicity and reliability in their design, opting for fewer moving parts and tried-and-true tool head attachment methods. it’s worth comparing how these features measure up against magnetic options in terms of durability and consistency, particularly in challenging printing tasks
It's a valid thought, I was excited to see it just because I have taken the cover off the K1 so so so many times - would be easier. But of course that one has a fan in it. This is a simple cover with no electronics so it is light, i think the magnets will be enough paired with the tabs on top. I like it when they try new things lol
@@kevin.3D i wish. they haven't said a word since the last delay. keeping people in the dark about their orders even after their new ship date passes. we have to reach out to get any kind of answer. very unprofessional

I purchased a base K1, then wanted to print multi color, so I ordered a 3rd party multi color upgrade, it was so much work and damaged multiple build plates. I like the ease of use of the Creality products, so I finally just pulled the trigger and bought the K2 Plus with CFS for multi color printing. I'm going to revert everything on my K1 and just be happy using that for single color prints for now. Extremely happy with the Creality platform though! SO hyped to get my K2 plus!

On reddit, there is more poste about this than on the machine itself. I think if they take orders from the store and deliver it sonner than the preorder, they will face a major backlash of the community. I hope they have communication ready for this for the livestream 😌
I agree, communication is key. For sure no new sales will be delivered before the pre-orders - thats just common sense. Even the pre-orders are being shipped in the order they were sold. I understand being a little impatient when you spent your money already, but if those same people actually emailed customer service they would get an explanation and a general idea of when the printers will arrive in country. At this moment now, people ARE receiving their printers and the rest are on the ocean. Everything is going according to plan, Creality wants everyone to love their new machines.

Thanks for such a thorough review!
Sorry to hear about your issues. I wish I knew more about the Ender 5 series but I have never used them. I agree with you, hoping the K2 Plus is everything we want it to be.
tell Creality, they need to email people and let us know if for some reason, there are further delays on our pre-orders. seems like lot of ppl was promised it would ship Nov 8th and receive the printer by the15th only finding out its been delayed again?

Looking at some YT videos the CFS cables are not long enough to put this on the side are they coming out with a longer cables? Noticed the store does not have the new filament with the RFID tags one last question does the bed require glue to get the parts to sick to the plate
the CFS comes with two cables and you are right, the shorter one will not work to get it on the side. I have asked the accessories department and they assured me that cables will be available for purchase separately - you can buy a second long cable by contacting cs@creality.com
I'm really interested in this, I've been owning an Ender3 since 2018 and it has been phenomenal since. Can this printer be operated completely offline? And will the CFS work with various filaments from other brands without RFID chips? Cheers!
Hi, nice to meet you. 2018 Ender 3 is good to hear about - i love hearing from people with older machines. Yeah you can use any filament you want in the CFS - just use the printer screen to select type and color, very easy. Printer can be used offline - USB port allows you to manually add prints - or LAN cable at the back if you want to load from your computer.
@@kevin.3D That is awesome, thank you! Yeah my Ender has been heavily modified, Klipper, MicroSwiss direct drive, various other things so there was never a reason to change it for something else. Looking now for an enclosed Core XY printer, so the K2 Plus is high on the list!

It's a nice machine but actually, there gave 5 promotional prices during their preorder. They sold the K2 at 50%, 40%, 30%, 20%, and finally at $1499.00. So, there is no 11/11 deal! They sold 400 units for $749.00 with the CFS at 50%. presale promotion. If they can give away 400 combo units for $749.00 then they can do much better than $1499.00 for Black Friday.
